I'm not the type to wear a lot of makeup, nor am I the type to get glammed up. Ashley make me feel so comfortable and made the whole bridal experience feel luxurious. My makeup and hair stayed in place the whole day/night and I didn't have to touch up my makeup ONCE during my big day. She was amazing with my mother and Mother-in-law. She listened to their requests and gave them exactly what they wanted. Her whole team did an amazing job with my bridesmaids and flower girl. I cannot recommend Ashley and her team enough!

I had the pleasure of working with Luminous Bride for my wedding, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, they delivered everything I envisioned. I wanted my bridal party and myself to look naturally beautiful and true to ourselves, and Luminous Bride achieved that perfectly. Jules, the makeup artist and owner, was fantastic. She was incredibly communicative throughout the process, providing helpful advice on lipstick colors and answering all my questions with ease. The team was not only professional but also so much fun to be around. They knew exactly how to bring out the best in each of us, making the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. We even had them stay longer for touch-ups, and they were absolutely everywhere, not just focused on hair and makeup but also helping ensure our dresses were perfectly in place and not creased. The hair artist did an excellent job setting up my veil—truly top-notch service. I highly recommend Luminous Bride for anyone looking to feel effortlessly beautiful and well cared for on their special day!

I went to Giannetta's in the months leading up to my wedding for facials, microdermabrasion, brow shaping, an mani pedis, all of which were a great and necessary way to prepare for the big day. On the morning of my wedding my girls and I arrived to freshly baked banana bread, fruit, and OJ (with which we were able to make mimosas!) and each of us were taken back to get our hair and makeup done. Janet took care of my skin and makeup, making any and all adjustments along the way to accommodate my taste and desires, while making sure I would stand out for the camera and my look would last all day. Andrea gave me the most unique and incredible hairstyle I've ever seen - fishtail braid with twists wrapping back to a low side bun - it was so cool and I was beyond happy with it! It was really fun to work with these ladies and I highly recommend them!

I can easily say that deciding who would do my make up for the best day of my life, easily became the first thing I could cross off my to do list. Natasha is such a wonderful person to work with, she came to my venue and did the make up for me, my mother in law and numerous bridesmaids. She was so calm and collected which is exactly what I needed on such a hectic day. When we were planning the day out she reasonably planned out the time she would need for all of the girls and was very clear about what everyone was looking for, which resulted in everyone looking amazing for my big day! I am so happy with how my make up turned out, it stayed on all night long, I looked flawless! I could not have asked for a better make up artist!

Brittney of BW bridal and her staff were my favorite vendor - from communicating with her for over two years due to postponing during the pandemic to our trial together to the big day - she was the sweetest, most talented hairstylist I have ever worked with! And if you are getting married in the Hudson Valley, you won’t be disappointed with hiring her. Britney is responsive, fair in pricing and all my 10+ bridesmaids - and I had picky ones - raved about how their hair lasted all night long! She is also super personal and just fun to work with because of her genuine pure energy and confidence she gives all her brides! It was truly a dream to work with her.

Stephanie from The Blushery worked my wedding and did a fantastic job. She gave me the natural look I wanted with a little pop of lip color, and she was also super accommodating to the requests of the other women in my party, including my 89 year old grandmother, who hadn't worn makeup in years and was feeling a little apprehensive - but looked and felt absolutely beautiful when Stephanie was done with her. On top of that, she was an easy, calm, and fun presence while getting ready and we loved having her. Thank you Stephanie!
