I cannot recommend this hair and makeup team enough—Katelyn and Julianne were simply phenomenal from start to finish! On my wedding day, they brought such a calm, professional, and uplifting energy that made the entire morning feel smooth and joyful.

One of the things that truly stood out was their incredible skill and versatility. My bridal party included people with a wide range of skin tones, hair types, and personal styles, and every single one of us felt completely seen, listened to, and beautifully styled. They were clearly experienced with working on all kinds of hair textures and complexions, and the results were flawless across the board.

Everyone looked and felt absolutely stunning, and the makeup and hair held up perfectly through hours of celebration. Beyond their talent, they were organized, on schedule, and so warm—it genuinely felt like having extra friends there helping us get ready.

I had 11 people who needed hair and makeup and Ellie and her team were organized and timely to get everyone looking glamorous on schedule! My hair and makeup stayed beautiful the whole night, even in the August heat.

We were married 6/14/25 in Middletown, NY. Ellie was a joy to work with from the start. She was very responsive and easily reachable through texts. We are a lesbian couple and had women on both sides of our bridal party. So it was a big party of 12 all together. Ellie did my (bride) hair, as well as some bridesmaid hair and makeup. Katelyn did bridesmaid and mother of the bride hair, and Julianne did bridesmaid makeup. My hair came out even more beautiful than I had envisioned. I also had some clip in extensions that stayed put all day. Everyone looked stunning and all of the girls were super happy with their looks. Ellie was so flexible with a few changes I had made. I went into the salon for my trial (the cutest salon!) and they traveled to us on site for our wedding day. They arrived on time, well prepared, and we were able to stay on schedule. Pricing was perfect for our budget and honestly very affordable compared to others in the area. We had a wonderful experience with the Ritual Beauty girls and highly recommend their services!

I can't say enough great things about my look from Ritual Beauty.

I hardly ever wear makeup -- and in the past, when I've told makeup artists that I want a "natural" look with minimal makeup, I still walked away not feeling like myself. But Julianne 100% saw my vision, and was able to craft an absolutely perfect natural, light makeup look that enhanced my features while ensuring that I still looked and felt like the most beautiful version of MYSELF! That is exactly how every bride deserves to feel on their wedding day!

AND THE HAIR!!!! When I went for the trial, I didn't love the hairstyle I chose -- so on my wedding day, my incredible stylist Katelyn did a new look for the first time. She NAILED IT. I felt like an absolute princess (every guest was obsessed with the style) -- and my hair stayed in place perfectly all night long. Somehow, Katelyn managed to convince my fine, flat hair to hold a curl AND have volume for hours -- she is magic!

My bridesmaids also all loved their hair and makeup. Ellie is responsive, and easy to work with. I highly recommend Ritual Beauty!

Ellie & her team are absolutely amazing! I have never felt so beautiful in my life. I couldn’t have chose a better vendor for my hair and makeup on my wedding day. Everything came out absolutely perfect. They are all so nice, calm, and just truly magicians with their work. Every single person in my bridal party that used them agreed and loved them as well! I used Ellie for my wedding to do my hair for myself, my bridesmaids and my mom. She was amazing!! We did a trial ahead of time and was able to capture exactly what I envisioned. What an experience!!! Last minute I needed them for a wedding and Elle was so accommodating and got me in! I’m not usually one to wear make up so I was looking for a more natural but glowing look and WOW did they do just that! I could not believe how everything turned out from my make up to hair! They had me in and out in about 30 minutes! I really had no reference of what I wanted except to have my hair up and my make up look natural and I didn’t even do a trial and they blew it out of the water! Even after being rained on, being the wedding was outside, my make up and hair lasted through it all! Would highly recommend Ritual Beauty Bar and plan to use them for anything I need in the future! I had Ellie and her team do my bridal and bridal party makeup, and I cannot say enough good things. I first met Ellie a few weeks before my wedding for my trial. She welcomed me into her lovely salon and we spent several hours together as she gave me highlights, did my makeup trial, and did my hair trial. She was kind and wonderful to chat with! She was super responsive to my suggestions for the wedding day, and my hair and makeup looked better than I could have ever imagined. I felt like a princess! My entire bridal party was so happy with their hair and makeup as well. Everything ran so smoothly on the day of and she was very flexible with requests/timing. SOOO happy. Highly recommend!!
