I can't say enough great things about my look from Ritual Beauty.
I hardly ever wear makeup -- and in the past, when I've told makeup artists that I want a "natural" look with minimal makeup, I still walked away not feeling like myself. But Julianne 100% saw my vision, and was able to craft an absolutely perfect natural, light makeup look that enhanced my features while ensuring that I still looked and felt like the most beautiful version of MYSELF! That is exactly how every bride deserves to feel on their wedding day!
AND THE HAIR!!!! When I went for the trial, I didn't love the hairstyle I chose -- so on my wedding day, my incredible stylist Katelyn did a new look for the first time. She NAILED IT. I felt like an absolute princess (every guest was obsessed with the style) -- and my hair stayed in place perfectly all night long. Somehow, Katelyn managed to convince my fine, flat hair to hold a curl AND have volume for hours -- she is magic!
My bridesmaids also all loved their hair and makeup. Ellie is responsive, and easy to work with. I highly recommend Ritual Beauty! -

I had very specific expectations for my makeup- I wanted to look natural/how I normally look but with enough coverage to look good in photos all day. Ellie nailed it! Her talent with airbrush makeup (I’ve never had it done before and was afraid it would be heavy but it wasn’t at all) and achieving a natural look, even with lashes, was incredible! Ellie also did my hair- she worked with my clip-in extensions and a hair clip I wanted to use. She gave me the volume I wanted and the style lasted all day. She did hair and makeup for me and 3 bridesmaids and was perfectly on schedule! Her receptionist, Lara was always responsive and helpful too! So glad I found Ellie :)Ritual Beauty Bar's reply:

Don’t even hesitate to book Ellie!! From the hair trial all the way through the wedding she was nothing short of amazing. I was indecisive about my hair style and unsure of what to do, and she was always there to listen and was super patient and honest with me. My hair & makeup came out EXACTLY how I envisioned. I really wanted to feel and look like myself and keep it free, loose, bohemian and easy without it looking corny or over the top and she nailed it!! On the day of the wedding she showed up early, was incredibly professional and not to mention she kept it light, was fun and chill to hang out with all morning. We had fun music playing, we were rehearsal dinner hungover, drinking mimosas and had a total blast. We all were soo happy with how we looked. I will always remember that morning as one of my favorite parts of the day. The morning getting ready ends up being a pretty significant chunk of your wedding day, so choose wisely who you spend your time with!! Would go back and book her over and over again if I had the choice! She is simply the best in the Hudson valley/upstate area, you won’t regret working with her :) -

Great job!
Ellie did a wonderful job on my wedding hair. I had 4 people: myself, my sister, my mom. and the groom's mom, all with different hair types/lengths and ideas of hairstyles they wanted. She managed the time well and was able to give everyone exactly what they were imagining and we were all so happy with how our hair came out! -

I loved working with Ellie and her team at Ritual for my wedding a few months ago. She really listened to my vision and is so easygoing and thoughtful - I also love her salon in Fishkill, decorated with tons of plants and good energy! We became fast friends. Everything came out perfectly and I’ll continue to recommend her services to anyone/everyone in the area. -

Beyond Happy & Pleased!
Ellie did my hair and make up for my wedding back in April. She was so friendly, positive, receptive to what I wanted, and made the whole experience fun (which is important when you have so many other things going on as bride). I absolutely LOVED my hair and make up. We did a cut and color as well as extensions and smoky eye make up. It is clear from the moment I met Ellie that she is a true artist, loves what she does, and takes her work seriously. I highly recommend Ellie and her team for any event! -

Ellie and her team at Ritual Beauty Bar are SO talented and were truly a dream to work with for my August 2023 Indian/American fusion wedding!!! We had a VERY early start, and the team was in the salon at 5am sharp ready to rock & roll. I don't get my hair and makeup done often and prefer a minimalist look, so hair and makeup were a bit of a stressor for me going into the big day. However, Ellie (hair) and Julianne (makeup) pulled off my dream bridal look! I felt like an absolute princess!!! My girls all loved their hair and make up too! Their entire team was so organized and did an incredible job sticking to a tight schedule. I was also so impressed that mine and my girls hair and makeup held up 15+ hours through two outdoor ceremonies on a hot sunny day, many happy tears, and getting down on the dance floor. Katelyn did stop in for touch ups halfway through the day, but only minor touch ups if any were needed. I cannot recommend the team at Ritual Beauty Bar enough!!! -
