I cannot recommend this hair and makeup team enough—Katelyn and Julianne were simply phenomenal from start to finish! On my wedding day, they brought such a calm, professional, and uplifting energy that made the entire morning feel smooth and joyful.
One of the things that truly stood out was their incredible skill and versatility. My bridal party included people with a wide range of skin tones, hair types, and personal styles, and every single one of us felt completely seen, listened to, and beautifully styled. They were clearly experienced with working on all kinds of hair textures and complexions, and the results were flawless across the board.
Everyone looked and felt absolutely stunning, and the makeup and hair held up perfectly through hours of celebration. Beyond their talent, they were organized, on schedule, and so warm—it genuinely felt like having extra friends there helping us get ready.

Highly recommend the Ritual Beauty girls!!
We were married 6/14/25 in Middletown, NY. Ellie was a joy to work with from the start. She was very responsive and easily reachable through texts. We are a lesbian couple and had women on both sides of our bridal party. So it was a big party of 12 all together. Ellie did my (bride) hair, as well as some bridesmaid hair and makeup. Katelyn did bridesmaid and mother of the bride hair, and Julianne did bridesmaid makeup. My hair came out even more beautiful than I had envisioned. I also had some clip in extensions that stayed put all day. Everyone looked stunning and all of the girls were super happy with their looks. Ellie was so flexible with a few changes I had made. I went into the salon for my trial (the cutest salon!) and they traveled to us on site for our wedding day. They arrived on time, well prepared, and we were able to stay on schedule. Pricing was perfect for our budget and honestly very affordable compared to others in the area. We had a wonderful experience with the Ritual Beauty girls and highly recommend their services!

The most beautiful I've ever felt!
I can't say enough great things about my look from Ritual Beauty.
I hardly ever wear makeup -- and in the past, when I've told makeup artists that I want a "natural" look with minimal makeup, I still walked away not feeling like myself. But Julianne 100% saw my vision, and was able to craft an absolutely perfect natural, light makeup look that enhanced my features while ensuring that I still looked and felt like the most beautiful version of MYSELF! That is exactly how every bride deserves to feel on their wedding day!
AND THE HAIR!!!! When I went for the trial, I didn't love the hairstyle I chose -- so on my wedding day, my incredible stylist Katelyn did a new look for the first time. She NAILED IT. I felt like an absolute princess (every guest was obsessed with the style) -- and my hair stayed in place perfectly all night long. Somehow, Katelyn managed to convince my fine, flat hair to hold a curl AND have volume for hours -- she is magic!
My bridesmaids also all loved their hair and makeup. Ellie is responsive, and easy to work with. I highly recommend Ritual Beauty!

What an experience!!! Last minute I needed them for a wedding and Elle was so accommodating and got me in! I’m not usually one to wear make up so I was looking for a more natural but glowing look and WOW did they do just that! I could not believe how everything turned out from my make up to hair! They had me in and out in about 30 minutes! I really had no reference of what I wanted except to have my hair up and my make up look natural and I didn’t even do a trial and they blew it out of the water! Even after being rained on, being the wedding was outside, my make up and hair lasted through it all! Would highly recommend Ritual Beauty Bar and plan to use them for anything I need in the future! Lovely human and talented makeup artist
I had Ellie and her team do my bridal and bridal party makeup, and I cannot say enough good things. I first met Ellie a few weeks before my wedding for my trial. She welcomed me into her lovely salon and we spent several hours together as she gave me highlights, did my makeup trial, and did my hair trial. She was kind and wonderful to chat with! She was super responsive to my suggestions for the wedding day, and my hair and makeup looked better than I could have ever imagined. I felt like a princess! Beyond Happy & Pleased!
Ellie did my hair and make up for my wedding back in April. She was so friendly, positive, receptive to what I wanted, and made the whole experience fun (which is important when you have so many other things going on as bride). I absolutely LOVED my hair and make up. We did a cut and color as well as extensions and smoky eye make up. Ellie and her team at Ritual Beauty Bar are SO talented and were truly a dream to work with for my August 2023 Indian/American fusion wedding!!! We had a VERY early start, and the team was in the salon at 5am sharp ready to rock & roll. I don't get my hair and makeup done often and prefer a minimalist look, so hair and makeup were a bit of a stressor for me going into the big day. However, Ellie (hair) and Julianne (makeup) pulled off my dream bridal look! I felt like an absolute princess!!! My girls all loved their hair and make up too! Their entire team was so organized and did an incredible job sticking to a tight schedule. I was also so impressed that mine and my girls hair and makeup held up 15+ hours through two outdoor ceremonies on a hot sunny day, many happy tears, and getting down on the dance floor. Katelyn did stop in for touch ups halfway through the day, but only minor touch ups if any were needed. I cannot recommend the team at Ritual Beauty Bar enough!!!

Julianne did my hair for my wedding day! We did a trial appointment which I highly recommend for all brides because we ended up slightly changing the style to suit me best with my hair texture and hair accessories. She also recommended I get my haircut prior to the wedding- I got it trimmed and shaped better - which helped my hair to look its best on the day! Julianne also did 6 of my bridesmaids hair and makeup, and my hair on the morning of the wedding. She was extremely efficient and timely. Everyone looked beautiful!

One of my favorite decisions in this wedding planning process was booking Ellie from Ritual Beauty Bar to do the hair and make-up for my wedding. I had based my decision off seeing her previous work on social media because what really stood out to me was how NATURALLY beautiful all of the girls looked. Meeting Ellie and having my trial sealed the deal. On the day of my wedding, Ellie was the most calming presence to have in the room. She was so supportive, honestly it felt like having an extra bridesmaid there to listen to my concerns, calm my nerves and hang out with us! She did a stunning job on my mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and myself, and was so quick - we had extra time to spare before getting dressed and were not rushed at all! I have never felt more beautiful and that was all thanks to Ellie! My hair and make-up stayed in place all night, and everyone’s services photographed beautifully! Ellie and her amazing team!
There are not enough words to describe how talented and amazing Ellie is. I found Ellie’s work when I was looking for hair and makeup artists for our November wedding. I knew I wanted someone who did both hair and makeup so it felt more coherent. When looking through Ellie’s work, I was drawn to her simple, yet elegant makeup, and her gorgeously intricate hairstyles. What made Ellie even better, were her extremely fair prices. When I met with Ellie for my trial, her warm energy made me feel so at ease. She took my exact vision and made it come to life. On my wedding day, I had found a differently structured bun that she had done on another bride that I wanted instead of the bun we had done at my trial. She went above and beyond and made it look more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. All of my bridesmaids were obsessed with their hair and makeup and all of it held through the entire night. We had an early morning and Ellie was at my hotel at 5:45 ready to go. I was worried about our hair and makeup staying until 11:00 at night, but we all looked as good at 11pm as we did in the morning. I cannot recommend Ellie and her team enough.

Airbrushed finish!
I hired Ellie after seeing how she handles skin—I was finding a lot of makeup artists in the area tend to go very heavy. But Ellie uses an airbrushing system so everything just looks flawless without looking cakey.
She did hair and makeup for several people on my wedding day and she and her assistant did a great job. Showed up on time, got us all glammed up, and was super attentive to the whole crew! She helped make my wedding day so special!

Awesome day with an awesome artist!
Ellie was amazing! She did the hair and makeup for my wedding day and also for 7 of my guests. From the trial day to the day of my wedding she was super communicative and open to my suggestions. She is a real artist but also a great person to work with, super calming and organized. Even some of my guest that did not want to do their makeup or hair before were so impressed that they changed their mind the day off and Ellie was able to accommodate them.
I am glad I was able to book Ellie and her team for my wedding day!

Ellie is absolutely fantastic! She did my hair, all of my bridesmaids (7), my sister-in-law, and both mothers all on her own. She brought one assistant to prep hair while she did the rest. I was so stressed we'd be cutting it close for 3pm pictures, but was in shock when everyone's hair was done way ahead of schedule. Shortly before my wedding my local hair dresser cut my hair way too short. I was in complete awe of Ellie's talent. She was able to get my extremely short hair up into a fulsome messy bun. I received so many compliments on my hair and so did my bridesmaids! All of our hair stayed through the night even with a little rain, wind, and lots of dancing! I highly recommend hiring Ellie for all of your beauty needs for your wedding. Her team will not disappoint.

I Love Ellie! Being from Rochester, NY I was a little uneasy about finding a make-up and hair person in a area I am not familiar with but she was great with communication and had great hair and make-up ideas for me. I normally do nothing for my hair but bun it and no make-up lol, the detail and skill she has is amazing and I literary looked and felt like such a princess! Flawless Makeup and Hair
I had very specific expectations for my makeup- I wanted to look natural/how I normally look but with enough coverage to look good in photos all day. Ellie nailed it! Her talent with airbrush makeup (I’ve never had it done before and was afraid it would be heavy but it wasn’t at all) and achieving a natural look, even with lashes, was incredible! Ellie also did my hair- she worked with my clip-in extensions and a hair clip I wanted to use. She gave me the volume I wanted and the style lasted all day. She did hair and makeup for me and 3 bridesmaids and was perfectly on schedule! Her receptionist, Lara was always responsive and helpful too! So glad I found Ellie :)

Don’t even hesitate to book Ellie!! From the hair trial all the way through the wedding she was nothing short of amazing. I was indecisive about my hair style and unsure of what to do, and she was always there to listen and was super patient and honest with me. My hair & makeup came out EXACTLY how I envisioned. I really wanted to feel and look like myself and keep it free, loose, bohemian and easy without it looking corny or over the top and she nailed it!! On the day of the wedding she showed up early, was incredibly professional and not to mention she kept it light, was fun and chill to hang out with all morning. We had fun music playing, we were rehearsal dinner hungover, drinking mimosas and had a total blast. We all were soo happy with how we looked. I will always remember that morning as one of my favorite parts of the day. The morning getting ready ends up being a pretty significant chunk of your wedding day, so choose wisely who you spend your time with!! Would go back and book her over and over again if I had the choice! She is simply the best in the Hudson valley/upstate area, you won’t regret working with her :)

I’m so glad I found Ell! She has such a calming demeanor, listens to what you really want, and makes thoughtful suggestions. On my wedding day everyone loved her and loved their hair - we all looked amazing thanks to her work. She managed to put my frazzled request together into exactly what I had envisioned. I was feeling a little anxious that morning and while we were all together in the bridal suite, she took notice and gave me a little essential oil to calm down - it’s little personal touches like this that just reaffirmed my decision that she was the perfect pick for our day! Ellie is an incredibly sweet person and does amazing styles! She did my hair for my wedding, as well as all of my bridesmaids and both mothers. I'm so happy that I found Ellie and Ell Beauty Bar for my wedding hair and make-up. From the hair/make-up trial through the day of my wedding, Ellie was a joy to work with. I was traveling from a bit of a distance and Ell Beauty Bar worked with me to schedule a convenient day for my trial. During the trial, Ellie dedicated a significant amount of time and worked in all my ideas. She was engaging and charming and her enthusiasm for her work is clear. Her prices were also very reasonable compared to other salons I had researched (it was especially nice that the deposit for the trial went towards the cost on the wedding day). Following my trial, she and her receptionist responded promptly to emails. In the week right before the wedding, she was flexible with my requests for changes to my look (took a call with me on her day off!) and was even willing to accommodate my sister-in-law who asked to get her hair/make-up done last minute (and then changed her mind again). On my wedding day, Ellie and her assistant Maria arrived promptly on time and set up their equipment with no fuss. They made it fun for all of my girls to get ready. When Ellie was doing my hair/make-up, there was a small accidental mishap that Ellie addressed immediately and appropriately, with such professionalism that I didn't even panic. Ultimately, her response was precautionary and there was nothing to worry about. I would highly recommend Ellie and Ell Beauty Bar for all your wedding beauty needs!

When it came to the wedding day, she arrived on time and was amazing with my bridal party. All the girls are incredibly sweet, professional, flexible, attentive and responded to emails within hours. I'm not an easy bride to work with because I'm very indecisive but they handled all my questions and changes with a breeze and I thank them so much for that! One thing I really want to mention is how PUNCTUAL these ladies are! They had a wedding later in the day but worked my morning wedding into their schedule and arrived at the hotel at 6am SHARP! Not a minute past the discussed time. When the wedding morning is so hectic, that is beyond appreciated. Room was small but the girls set up in seconds and were never in the way. They got all 7 of us ready and a 8th unplanned person without a single complaint. My hair and my girls hair looked beautiful and held up till the next day! One of my bridesmaids wore her hairstyle for two days after the wedding so rest assured that these ladies will make sure you look stunning all day! Thank you!

When I hadn't begun the search for a hair/makeup team yet my sister handed me her card and wasn't pushy just said in case I needed someone to check into. Well I did some research on Wedding Wire and saw she had outstanding reviews, and the photos of her past wedding clients was a similar style I really wanted, very romantic. So I reached out to Elle and she responded right away. We set up a time to do a hair trial. I came into her salon with 3 hairstyles in mind...I couldn't decide what I wanted. Let me tell you that she did all 3 for me! I thought that was very nice of her considering it takes time and a lot of work to do that. She did my makeup trial in what felt like 20 minutes, super quick and I was in awe at the kind of work she does so fast!!! I loved her and felt so comfortable with her that I booked her to do my bridal shower hair and makeup and my hair & makeup for the boudoir shoot I gifted my husband as a wedding present. I really wanted a specific look for my makeup and hair, and I resent her some photos the week of my wedding. She showed up to my house exactly on time, and worked her magic with 2 amazing team members. My makeup and hair was spot on and I received soooooo many compliments on how romantic and soft my makeup looked. She did all my bridesmaids and MOB & MOG. She is top notch and worth every penny. I couldn't have been happier working with Ellie for my wedding. It was very easy to contact her from the beginning, and she always responded quickly. I searched around many wedding hair stylists in the area, and Ellie was the most affordable, and after looking at her work online I knew I wanted her for my wedding. She was really flexible too - I had my trial with one hairstyle, but decided a week before that I wanted something different. Ellie didn't skip a beat, and assured me that she felt comfortable after working with my hair once and could definitely do the new style without having to do another trial. I have to share with everyone how amazing Ellie is. She is so talented and is awesome at what she does. After getting my make up trial and hair trial done, I had no desire to get another done by anyone else. First of all they both came out exactly how I pictured them to be and second of all she is a sweetheart! We were talking and joking the entire time and I wasn't worried at all about how my hair and make up would come out on my wedding day and I was right not to worry. Ellie and Jess made me and my girls come out like movie stars. Everyone looked incredible and I couldn't have asked for mine especially to come out any better than it did. My hair stayed perfect the entire night and so did my make up. I must say I looked and felt incredible and everyone LOVED my hair. Thank you Ellie for everything, you are amazing!

The girls at Ell Beauty Bar are awesome! I was planning a wedding from a different state, so I had my hair and makeup trial about 5 months before the wedding day just in case. Ellie's work was fantastic!! As the wedding day got closer, I asked for a second trial a week before the wedding (cutting it very close) and they were able to fit me in that weekend. Being a bride how has fine, thin hair and does not wear make up, Ellie was able to create perfect bridal hair and makeup that also flawlessly fit my personal style. All my guests kept mentioning how natural my make up was, and my low bun lasted the entire day and night filled with dancing. All of my bridesmaids were so impressed and happy with their hair and make up. I loved how the stylists kept two of my bridesmaids natural hair texture and curl, and it made their styles so unique. It was such a nice, relaxing, and stress-free wedding morning with the girls from Ell Beauty Bar!

Ellie and her team are awesome, we had them do hair and makeup for 7+ girls. We had to move our time up to before 7AM and she was extremely accommodating. Her team was super quick and we even finished up early. It ended up being extremely humid and my maid of honor decided at the last minute she wanted her hair up and Jessie quickly took the awesome braid she did and threw it into a side bun. Just as the team was leaving my photographers showed up and Ellie came back in to get a few shots of her putting on my lip gloss and spraying my hair. Everyone looked amazing and everyone's hair and makeup lasted through the hot, rainy, humid day.

Elle was wonderful for my bridal hair and make up trial. She was able to see me on a busy day, but I was not rushed at all. I've never had my make up done professionally and was so impressed with how amazing I looked. I can't wait to have her help me look my best at my wedding!

I am so beyond happy that I found Ellie and use her for our wedding! She was so great to work with - whatever hair style or makeup style my bridesmaids and I were looking for, she nailed and made us all look amazing. There were 8 of us that needed styling and she even accommodated some extra guests that asked for her services and managed to do all of this on our time constraints. Thank you Ellie!!

I couldn't have ask for a better make-up artist to make me feel beautiful on my wedding day. Ellie was so sweet and professional, and showed up at our hotel suite at 6am with a smile. She worked with each person's individual style to create looks that everyone loved. I'm always worried that I end up looking overdone with make-up, but Ellie created a natural look for me that lasted all day long.

I couldn't be happier with Ellie. She put you at ease, always answered my e-mails, and drove an hour to our hotel and showed up early! Ellie and Britt work so well together. She was soo sweet, so accommodating, and she really listened to what you wanted. My girls loved their make-up and they all looked beautiful! I loved my make-up and it lasted all night. I'm soo happy to have found her!!!

Your wedding day is probably one of the most stressful, yet exciting day of your life. Being a bride it is our time to be a princess and Ellie made that happen. Ellie & Britt were absolutely amazing. Not only did they show up bright and early, they were ready to work, had a set schedule and were able to stick to it. My bridal party consisted of 5 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, my mother and myself, so they had their work cut out for them. Ellie and Britt are both super prepared and professional, and at the same time are down to earth, and make you feel at ease--which is definitely a plus on your wedding day when everything can seem so chaotic. Ellie did an incredible job giving me a more natural glam look with my make up, and Britt was like a hair magician the way she was able to turn my thin hair into an elegant style cascading off to the side. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day in April. Since then, I have gone back to both of these ladies for hair and make up on different occasions. I would recommend these lovely ladies over and over again, and I couldn't be happier or more pleased that I was able to work with such fantastic artists.

Ellie was amazing! From the start she was super responsive to emails and was very flexible with location for hair trial, day of location. Most importantly made both mine and my bridesmaids' hair look amazing! She took an idea from a style that I had found and made it look 100 times better that I imagined. Love her!

If you're looking for a makeup artist for your wedding, look no further ! Ellie was hired by my friend for her wedding and was beyond amazing. She arrived early, set up her station and got right to work. She looked at all of our ideas and pictures and was able to make each of us look absolutely flawless. I was a little scared because I had some blemishes I wasn't sure could be covered but she does magic with the airbrush and my makeup was perfect. I got so many compliments all night. I will definitely be hiring her for any photo shoots I may have in the future!

Ellie did my makeup for my wedding as well as my bridesmaids. I couldn't be more satisfied with her service and her professionalism. She was also so down to earth, my girls and I had a blast while getting ready for my wedding. I wanted to sport a natural look and she delivered. I could not be more grateful and thankful that I found Ellie and was able to book her to do the makeup for me (and my girls) on my wedding day. She was very professional and very relatable. She took the time to listen to, and create, the exact look I was dreaming of for my day. My husband specifically commented on how natural and beautiful my makeup looked in the middle of our ceremony at the church. Ellie did my make up for our wedding along with my mom & bridesmaids - not to mention covered up a crazy cut on my two year olds face she got one day before the wedding! She made me naturally more beautiful and perfect than I knew. When she asked what I was looking for I told her to kinda go with what she thought and it was incredible. We did a trial and it came out the same way on my wedding day if not better which was super amazing. My little cousin one of my bridesmaids who never wears makeup was thrilled also, she wants to start learning how to wear make up now because of Ellie. If I could give ellie and her makeup artist higher ratings I would! She was there on time ready to go and made it a relaxing and enjoyable experience. My girls were so happy that they even hired her for their wedding! When a girl wanted a touch up or fix up she was there to fix/ accommodate. She was about an hour ahead of schedule which made my photographer very VERY happy!! I had 8 girls including myself for hair and makeup and she finished in 5 hours! They looked flawless. Ellie was also available to speak if I had any questions. I even spoke to her early in the morning the day before the wwedding and she was just wonderful. I wouldn't recommended or use anyone else top notch all the way!

Had the absolute best experience with Elle. I live in Florida and was having a New York wedding. Saw her pictures on instagram and immediately fell in love but in person her work is even more incrediable. I was unsure how I wanted my makeup done but with the pictures I showed Elle it was handled with ease and I never thought I could look so beautiful! I don't ever wear makeup because it always feels funny to me but Elle used airbrush makeup and it was amazing and I get awesome all day long for my wedding. Thank you so much for everything I was so impressed and so was my husband and all my friends and family. Would refer Elle to anyone I know.

I was so happy with Ellie and Britt for my wedding hair and makeup. They showed up on time and they worked quickly to get through everyone and even finished an hour ahead of schedule. They made me feel at ease and not pressured through the trial and day of even with all my jitters! I am very low key with makeup and hair so I was very unsure what I was looking for and they helped me decide what worked best and I felt amazing on my wedding day. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would recommend them to anyone!

Extremely flexible, friendly and helpful I had a issue with a previous hair place that left my hair absolutely destroyed beyond repair and ell helped me through it and assured me she would have no issues Come my wedding day!
