Ellie and her team are top tier! I had a wonderful experience with her when I went for my trial. She listened to everything I asked for and was happy to tweak my make up as I figured out what looked right for me. The day of the wedding she was there bright and early. Ellie and Julianne did a phenomenal job on hair and makeup. I am beyond happy with their amazing work. I highly recommend Ritual Beauty!!! -

The best hair and makeup !!!
Ellie and her team of professionals went above and beyond to make my day so perfect and special ! Patient, kind and attentive I couldn’t have asked for a better team to beautify myself and my family.. I was blown away with how my hair and makeup came out ,ellie did such an amazing job.. I felt so confident walking down the aisle . I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have perfect hair and makeup on their wedding day or for an event !

I loved working with Ellie and her team at Ritual for my wedding a few months ago. She really listened to my vision and is so easygoing and thoughtful - I also love her salon in Fishkill, decorated with tons of plants and good energy! We became fast friends. Everything came out perfectly and I’ll continue to recommend her services to anyone/everyone in the area. -

Amazing Hair and Makeup by Julianne
Julianne did my hair for my wedding day! We did a trial appointment which I highly recommend for all brides because we ended up slightly changing the style to suit me best with my hair texture and hair accessories. She also recommended I get my haircut prior to the wedding- I got it trimmed and shaped better - which helped my hair to look its best on the day! Julianne also did 6 of my bridesmaids hair and makeup, and my hair on the morning of the wedding. She was extremely efficient and timely. Everyone looked beautiful! -

Absolute Dream Team
Ellie & the Ritual Beauty team was the best to work with! They were organized, responsive, understanding & an absolute joy to be around. The team had my HUGE bridal party done in a timely fashion & all my girls loved their looks. They took their time with my bridal hair & make up and it lasted all day & night long (my wedding was on a 90 degree day outdoors, and I somehow never even looked sweaty)! All my bridesmaids were raving about how well their hair and make up stayed all night long- 10/10 recommend hiring this team!!! -

Ellie and her amazing team!
There are not enough words to describe how talented and amazing Ellie is. I found Ellie’s work when I was looking for hair and makeup artists for our November wedding. I knew I wanted someone who did both hair and makeup so it felt more coherent. When looking through Ellie’s work, I was drawn to her simple, yet elegant makeup, and her gorgeously intricate hairstyles. What made Ellie even better, were her extremely fair prices. When I met with Ellie for my trial, her warm energy made me feel so at ease. She took my exact vision and made it come to life. On my wedding day, I had found a differently structured bun that she had done on another bride that I wanted instead of the bun we had done at my trial. She went above and beyond and made it look more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. All of my bridesmaids were obsessed with their hair and makeup and all of it held through the entire night. We had an early morning and Ellie was at my hotel at 5:45 ready to go. I was worried about our hair and makeup staying until 11:00 at night, but we all looked as good at 11pm as we did in the morning. I cannot recommend Ellie and her team enough. -

The best!
Ellie did my hair and makeup as well as my mom and sister’s hair and makeup for my wedding. Ellie made our morning together so calm and easy. She truly has a gift and we trusted her vision with everything. She also did my partial highlights and cut my sister’s hair in the weeks leading up the the wedding and I can’t say enough positive things about both services. Ellie and her team at Ritual Beauty Bar are SO talented and were truly a dream to work with for my August 2023 Indian/American fusion wedding!!! We had a VERY early start, and the team was in the salon at 5am sharp ready to rock & roll. I don't get my hair and makeup done often and prefer a minimalist look, so hair and makeup were a bit of a stressor for me going into the big day. However, Ellie (hair) and Julianne (makeup) pulled off my dream bridal look! I felt like an absolute princess!!! My girls all loved their hair and make up too! Their entire team was so organized and did an incredible job sticking to a tight schedule. I was also so impressed that mine and my girls hair and makeup held up 15+ hours through two outdoor ceremonies on a hot sunny day, many happy tears, and getting down on the dance floor. Katelyn did stop in for touch ups halfway through the day, but only minor touch ups if any were needed. I cannot recommend the team at Ritual Beauty Bar enough!!! -

Wedding hair and make up
Ellie did my bridal hair and makeup for myself and 2 bridesmaids this summer (2022). Looking at the Wedding Wire reviews made my decision since I didn't know makeup artists in the area. She did an outstanding job and was able to accommodate everyone's individual requests. Our makeup stayed all night, even in the summer heat. Everything was seamless to requesting information, makeup trials and on the wedding day. Our hair and makeup was done on location at the venue, which was very convenient. I would highly recommend Ellie and Ritual Beauty Bar. -

06/2022 Wedding
I cannot say enough about working with Ellie and her team at Ritual for my wedding. The trial with my bridesmaid was so much fun because Ellie is such a great time. She is super responsive and showed up to my wedding morning early! We had such a great time getting ready and she was not at all bothered that my now husband hung out in the too while we got ready. Everyone’s hair and makeup looked exactly how we wanted them to, my hair and makeup lasted the WHOLE wedding which was important. I really loved working with Ellie so much that I’ve seen her for my hair cuts and color regularly ever since! -

Airbrushed finish!
I hired Ellie after seeing how she handles skin—I was finding a lot of makeup artists in the area tend to go very heavy. But Ellie uses an airbrushing system so everything just looks flawless without looking cakey.
She did hair and makeup for several people on my wedding day and she and her assistant did a great job. Showed up on time, got us all glammed up, and was super attentive to the whole crew! She helped make my wedding day so special! -

Ellie was amazing! She did the hair and makeup for my wedding day and also for 7 of my guests. From the trial day to the day of my wedding she was super communicative and open to my suggestions. She is a real artist but also a great person to work with, super calming and organized. Even some of my guest that did not want to do their makeup or hair before were so impressed that they changed their mind the day off and Ellie was able to accommodate them.
I am glad I was able to book Ellie and her team for my wedding day! -

Excellent experience!
Ellie and her team were amazing on my 10/30/2021 wedding day! As a covid bride, Ellie was accommodating through my postponement and was able to change the date with no issues. On my wedding day, Ellie was punctual, professional and lively during the getting ready process. With her experience, she was able to calculate our timeline perfectly and she made my whole bridal party feel beautiful in our own skin. I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you Ellie! -

Amazing hair stylist
Ellie is amazing at what she does! She makes you feel so comfortable and listens to what you want. I have very long and thick hair and it stayed in place the way I envisioned it for the entire night of my wedding! -

Elle and her team said they would be at Hunter Mountain at 8am and they were right on time. Elle and her team worked hard that day to make everyone beautiful with their hair and make up. What she did for my daughter was absolutely stunning as she and her girls did for everyone! I would definitely use Elle again and her team because they are extremely professional and listen to exactly what you want and then create your dream.
