Wedding Venues in Charlotte

We planned our wedding on a 3 month timeline, and thanks to Laura Russell at UNC Marriott, we were able to pull it off! We didn’t have a wedding coordinator, so Laura was able to step in and keep us on track for everything. This experience was so much better than I could have imagined, and our guests had so much fun! I cannot thank Laura and her team enough for all that they did to make our day perfect and complete. From coordinating with our vendors, to making sure everything went as planned and on time, it took the stress out of the whole day! The thoughtful extras like having champagne sent up to our Bridal Suite (which is incredible, btw!) to making sure all of our things were carefully collected and ready for us when we checked out, really made me appreciate their professionalism more. I would definitely recommend this location as a venue for your special day!

The Morehead Inn did an excellent job for our recent brunch. Brooke made great recommendations, communicated well and made sure every detail was covered in advance. Carol, Mary and Diamond executed beautifully the day of ensuring that the room was beautiful, the food was excellent and the service exemplary. Highly recommend.

Sarah and the rest of the staff at The Palisades were not only easy to work with, but they were extremely attentive and always had our best interest in mind. The venue itself is beautiful and has everything you would want for a wedding day. We kept hearing all night from our guests how much they loved the venue. I would recommend The Palisades to anyone! Can't say enough good things about the place and the people that work there.

The wedding turned out beautifully. The overall pricing was fair for the services , food and staff provided. Our coordinator Katelyn worked diligently to make our day memorable and met our requests and needs with professionalism and precision. Our matre de Vernita, banquet captain Gabby and banquet manager were very prompt , responsive and attentive to our every request.

Hawkesdene is such a special venue. You can see it from just looking at the pictures of the beautiful grounds and the backdrop of the western Carolina mountains. But what makes it so wonderful is truly the people and the experience. Our experience venue shopping was unlike any other with Hawkesdene. From the beginning everything was transparent and perfectly laid out. We browsed the website and found all the information about the venue, pricing, and many other details. Rob provided us with a personalized quote within 24 hours of reaching out. From then there was an open line of communication. There were no surprise add on costs and everything was included to create a seamless experience. The guest payment process was also very smooth. We made the trip from Florida to do a site visit and were sure the moment we arrived that we found our venue. During our tour, Rob explained the entire process from booking to what the weekend would look like. Then we had the opportunity to tour every single cottage and Jaylen took us up to see Hawk’s Nest. It was all breathtaking. From there we were introduced to Jami, superwoman, who walked us through the entire planning process from napkin colors to guest accommodations and timelines. We were able to do our planning session on site and go over every single detail at length. The actual weekend was nothing short of magical. Multiple guests came up to us and said that it felt like a movie. The staff were so kind and attentive and treated our guests with so much care. We arrived on Thursday and left on Sunday. While there we did the Hawk’s Nest group hike, a field day with different lawn activities for the kiddos and adults, bonfires, Karaoke, and nightvision manhunt for the daring. The food was delicious and the logistics of it all seamless. We had the Mexican in the Mountains and Smoky Mountain Barbecue menus and a la carte for wedding day. Breakfast and lunch were delicious. Many of our guests loved the potatoes, croissants, and raved about the barbecue. Our wedding day was wonderful. Hawkesdene beyond exceeded our vision! I would be remiss if I also didn’t mention how incredibly talented and attentive Ashley is. She was an absolute wizard with florals and decor details. Many of our guests experienced flight delays and cancellations and she communicated with us to ensure that they would have dinner once they arrived. We had a positive experience with every single member of the staff we encountered. Wedding planning is such an involved process and it is such a breath of fresh air to encounter businesses that are transparent and honest. There is much more we could say about Hawkesdene. It perfectly fit our vision of a weekend away with our loved ones to connect and reset. Thank you to all of the wonderful people at Hawkesdene for making this a weekend we will never forget!

If I could give Alexander Homestead more than five stars, I would gift-wrap them in gold and hand-deliver them back to the team. ⭐️ From the very first planning meeting to the last dance of the night, we felt genuinely cared for. As two busy working professionals, the structure and support from Wedgewood Weddings & Events made our planning process feel manageable and bite-sized instead of overwhelming. Every step was organized, clear, and thoughtful. It allowed us to actually enjoy being engaged instead of drowning in spreadsheets. Sarah, Virginia, and Savannah were phenomenal. Truly. They anticipated needs before we even voiced them, answered every question with patience, and made us feel like our wedding was the only one that mattered. On the day of, Savannah in particular took such intentional care of both me and Kevin. She checked in constantly, kept things flowing seamlessly, and made sure we were present instead of stressed. As chefs and hotel people, service is everything to us. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The team followed our directions perfectly, respected our vision, and executed it beautifully. A moment that meant the world to us was watching the service staff go above and beyond to help my autistic nephew find something “safe” to eat during dinner. That kindness and awareness is not something you can train into people. It’s heart. We also loved the intentional use of small businesses throughout the process. You can feel that Alexander Homestead values community and craftsmanship, and that matters. Our day felt seamless, warm, and deeply cared for from start to finish. We walked away not just married, but genuinely grateful. If you’re considering this venue, stop looking. You’ve found it. 💛

My husband and I just got married September of 2024. We had such an incredible experience here at WinMock, I cannot recommend it enough! The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is incredible, and the food through Providence Catering was delicious! I tell all of my friends they need to get married here! 11/10 recommend!

Pine Island Country Club was such a WONDERFUL place to host our wedding! This venue has been my dream for years! Since 2018, I came across this "hidden gem" and decided that this was the ONLY place for us to get married. Being able to have our ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour on the same property added just the special touch! In addition, we had an AMAZING wedding coordinator! Meredith was everything and more; such a pleasure to work with. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing! She was always just a phone call away without any hesitation! I would recommend this venue and her exceptional services as a day of coordinator. She is truly passionate about what she does and it shows! Thanks again Pine Island for such a wonderful experience!

We had our wedding at Rooftop 230 at the DoubleTree Charlotte City Center in March. Our assigned coordinator Mariah Harris and her event coordination team were so helpful throughout the whole planning process. We were able to meet with Mariah as many times as needed to ensure all details were taken care of. On the day of the wedding she and her team did an amazing job keeping the event flowing and making sure we had nothing to stress about. The venue was beautiful and great value for money. We were able to provide our guests with so many extra perks like hotel rooms with a discounted rate, an open bar, cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, and a seated dinner at a great price point! We would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a wedding at a beautiful city center location that has nearly every service available onsite.

Mrs. Gretchen, Mrs. Angie and their team are absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond to remove all stress from the bride and groom. The venue is gorgeous allowing you to be as elaborate or simplistic with your decor. We were married in July and had the ceremony at 7pm in the courtyard. The natural light and setting was simply perfect for the photographer. And the extra bonus for us was that we were informed that the proceeds the venue receives goes to the Charlotte Fire Dept. I more than recommend using The Palmer Building for your events. 5 stars all the way!
