The Morehead Inn did an excellent job for our recent brunch. Brooke made great recommendations, communicated well and made sure every detail was covered in advance. Carol, Mary and Diamond executed beautifully the day of ensuring that the room was beautiful, the food was excellent and the service exemplary. Highly recommend.

Sarah and the rest of the staff at The Palisades were not only easy to work with, but they were extremely attentive and always had our best interest in mind. The venue itself is beautiful and has everything you would want for a wedding day. We kept hearing all night from our guests how much they loved the venue. I would recommend The Palisades to anyone! Can't say enough good things about the place and the people that work there.

The wedding turned out beautifully. The overall pricing was fair for the services , food and staff provided. Our coordinator Katelyn worked diligently to make our day memorable and met our requests and needs with professionalism and precision. Our matre de Vernita, banquet captain Gabby and banquet manager were very prompt , responsive and attentive to our every request.

My daughter was Married at Hawkesdene September 13. 2025. What a glorious weekend it was. Our guests checked in on Thursday and checked out on Sunday. I did not hear one complaint the entire time we were there. Jami, Ashley and all the staff had everything under control from beginning to end. My daughter said it was the wedding of her dreams. The food was AMAZING. Every meal was different and delicious!!! The venue and all the cottages are beautiful, warm and welcoming. As most/all Mother of the Brides worry whether everything will be taken care, it certainly was. I did not have to micro manage anything because Hawkesdene did everything for us while we were there. I still cannot believe how wonderful it all was. Everyone was so nice and helpful as well. Jami, Ashley and the all the Staff Rocked It Out!!! Thank You from the bottom of my heart - Hawkesdene made my daughters the best wedding we have ever been to. Our guests have also told us this numerous times. You cannot go wrong with this venue. Working with Danielle and the Alexander Homestead team made planning for a large event relatively simple. The team had vendor recommendations, checklists for decisions to make with simple “multiple choice” options so not to overwhelm me or the set-up team, and several free in-house rental items we could use for signage/décor. The weekend of the wedding, Danielle was an incredible resource for set up, directing family members, keeping everyone hydrated, and overall keeping the day running smoothly. She coordinated the catering, beverage, and outside vendor teams with confidence and ease, so I never felt like I was having to check in on anyone. The gardens were beautiful and well-maintained year-round, we were very relieved the weather cooperated for our big day so all the guests could enjoy the full space AH provided. Our guests had a great time and appreciated the flexibility to be inside or outside during the reception. As far as flexibility on the planning front, my advice to brides is to be aware of what is included and what is provided at an additional cost. Overall we had a great experience with AH and would recommend them.

My husband and I just got married September of 2024. We had such an incredible experience here at WinMock, I cannot recommend it enough! The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is incredible, and the food through Providence Catering was delicious! I tell all of my friends they need to get married here! 11/10 recommend!

Pine Island Country Club was such a WONDERFUL place to host our wedding! This venue has been my dream for years! Since 2018, I came across this "hidden gem" and decided that this was the ONLY place for us to get married. Being able to have our ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour on the same property added just the special touch! In addition, we had an AMAZING wedding coordinator! Meredith was everything and more; such a pleasure to work with. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing! She was always just a phone call away without any hesitation! I would recommend this venue and her exceptional services as a day of coordinator. She is truly passionate about what she does and it shows! Thanks again Pine Island for such a wonderful experience!

Our wedding on Rooftop230 was phenomenal! It was such a beautiful view, and the service was unmatched. Many guests are still talking about how great the venue and food were. I’d definitely recommend working with the team because they were very accommodating to our multicultural wedding, and they always made sure that we were taken care of. We’d definitely recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have a stunning and memorable wedding!

Mrs. Gretchen, Mrs. Angie and their team are absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond to remove all stress from the bride and groom. The venue is gorgeous allowing you to be as elaborate or simplistic with your decor. We were married in July and had the ceremony at 7pm in the courtyard. The natural light and setting was simply perfect for the photographer. And the extra bonus for us was that we were informed that the proceeds the venue receives goes to the Charlotte Fire Dept. I more than recommend using The Palmer Building for your events. 5 stars all the way!

We had our wedding reception at The Marriott Southpark on Saturday, July 15th 2023. The Staff and coordinator went above and beyond to make our wedding the best day ever. We had the Suite to get ready in and have for the night of the wedding. We had 150 people and the Morrison Ballroom was perfect. We also had an after party at the AC hotel rooftop bar. The food was plated and delicious along with two bars for 5 hours. Highly recommend to any bride!
