We were married on the lawn of the venue and utilized the lakeside ballroom for the reception. The staff was incredible, food was fabulous, and the venue was beautiful. Cecilia the event coordinator was excellent to work with and was exceptional with working out all the details. Guest stated that this was the best wedding they had ever been too. Highly recommend as you get top notch quality at a very reasonable budget.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect at Splendor Pond! Christina was super responsive throughout the planning process and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The beauty of the property speaks for itself and all of our wedding guests were raving about how much they loved it. We absolutely recommend this venue for the wedding of your dreams.

We were married April 15, 2017, on the Catawba Queen and my wedding was a dream! Brian was our day of coordinator and made sure that everything went according to schedule; he also made sure that my vision for the wedding was pulled off the day of!!! He made sure that all the small details were the way that wanted, and also added a few touches that made my day extra special! Nothing seemed to be overlooked when it came to my ceremony and reception! Both spaces were beautifully decorated and fell within a "southern romantic" feel! My dream wedding would have been in Charleston, SC, but if you are also looking at April that begins peak season in Charleston! So we were able to pull off a Charleston theme on a perfect spring day (80, sun shining, with a beautiful breeze off of Lake Norman)!!! We used mostly Queen's Landing for our vendors-Our food, DJ(DJ Dianne-she was wonderful, and made sure to not play those on the "Do Not Play" list!), Day of Coordinator (Brian-see above), and officiant(Captain Ron-He gave us a copy of our vows that we will cherish forever!) were all through Queen's Landing. I was lucky enough to have my sister has my photographer, and my sister in law made us the most beautiful cake, so unfortunately unless you are in Vermont or Hawaii, I can not recommend those services for you! If I could do it all again, I would still want the same thing, but I would have made a couple small changes(nothing that the venue would have had control over), and danced more!!! The day goes by so quickly it will literally be like you blinked and its over!!! Enjoy every second, and remember that you can't please everyone-sometimes is most important to do what is going to make you happiest!! For an amazing wedding-you should definitely consider Queen's Landing!!!

There are few businesses that have the integrity that Carrigan Farms has. My husband and I planned our destination wedding here with Terrell. We had a virtual tour last fall and decided on a smaller weekday wedding. Throughout the whole process, communication was top notch. All questions were answered in a timely manner and staff was extremely helpful. They were already 5 stars in my mind. Then, the unthinkable happened. My dad had a massive stroke a week before the wedding and wasn't expected to recover. This was a destination wedding for everyone, so all of sudden, my guest count started diminishing as my immediate family needed to stay by his side. We called Carrigan just to give them a heads up and Kelly and Doug's response was... shocking. Not only did they say that they hadn't ordered the food yet, and could wait until the last minute for us to give them an updated headcount, but they even offered to move our wedding to another weekday if needed. After all the horror stories you hear about getting nickel and dimed through weddings, Carrigan was a light. We went on with the wedding, and staff was so attentive to everyone, especially Johnny. The venue was perfect, the setting was beautiful, the children had so much fun playing on the beach, and I'm still hearing compliments about the food. An amazing event for booking Carrigan Farms sight unseen and without tasting the food (we live in Seattle). Thanks again, Carrigan! My dad passed 4 hours before my ceremony, and I'm so grateful I have the wonderful memories of this happy event to think of. Budget-wise, this fit the bill. There were many options to choose from for different budgets.

The entire place is gorgeous. From the old Victorian house to the gorgeous pavilion, the entire grounds are picture perfect! David the estate manager is AMAZING!!!! I couldn’t have gotten married without him! He went above and beyond to make sure my wedding was perfect! Everyone needs a David 😂 we had such an amazing day!

The location was affordable and convenient for my family. We had a blank canvas essentially so decorating was very easy. I love the wood look on the inside, it complimented our decorations. Space was adequate for our party. I loved the open field so the kids could run around and get some energy out. The lighting was perfect! Definitely set the mood. Perfect weather, perfect day.
