Circa 29 is a one-of-a-kind venue in Asheville, NC. This beautiful property is a speakeasy-style event space hidden in the lower level of the historic S&W Building in downtown Asheville. Designed by famed architect Douglas Ellington, The S&W Building is a prime example of art-deco architecture from the 1920s' and is listed on the National Historic Registry. Circa 29 is the ideal location for ceremonies and receptions, welcome parties, after-parties, and rehearsal dinners. Most importantly, our venue has an upscale but relaxed elegance, perfect for your special day!

The bar at Circa 29 is an elevated program you can customize for your much-anticipated event. Delicious food options are provided by vendors inside the S&W Market or from an outside caterer of your choice. Glassware, sound system, A/V, microphones, event space cleaning, all existing furniture and setup, and private restrooms are included in your rental cost.

Many couples have mentioned that they love our space because they don't have to decorate - simply show up and have a blast! We have a great sound system; all you have to do is plug into your favorite playlist for music. DJs and bands are also great options on our stage.
