The Venue is located in the heart of downtown Asheville, North Carolina. Offering custom wedding and elopement packages, it is the ideal location to say “I do” for any couple. The Venue celebrates all love and welcomes LGBTQ+ couples. Our 13,000-square-foot property features two distinct venue spaces, the Market + Mezzanine, and the Second Level. The Venue assists with everything our couples need to create a unique and memorable wedding celebration!

Our Market + Mezzanine venue space features seating for 200 guests reception style and can accommodate guests counts up to 350 with cocktail-style seating. This space features two areas with exposed beams, original brickwork, an exquisite chandelier, and charming golden decor. Our average guest count for this space is between 120-185 guests. This space is accessible via a wheelchair-access lift.

Our Second Level venue space is perfect for rehearsal dinners and intimate weddings! This space features seating for 120 guests reception style and up to 175 guests with cocktail-style seating. A highlight of the property, the Second Level features an open-air balcony providing guests with city views. Similarly to our Market + Mezzanine, this space flaunts original brickwork, exposed beams, and several petite chandeliers. Our average guest count for this space is between 50-90 guests. This space is accessible via a stair chair lift.

At The Venue, we take pride in our management team, who are there to assist clients every step of the way! All staff, bar, and catering needs are provided by The Venue for our couples, with the exception of wedding cakes. Our culinary team exceeds client expectations by offering an extensive menu selection as well as availability for custom menus. While we do not permit any outside alcohol at The Venue, we can customize clients’ bar experiences based on preferences.

Basic equipment such as tables, chairs, standard linens, and centerpieces are provided by The Venue. We also offer a large digital catalog of upgrade items for our clients to choose from to make their wedding vision a reality!

Best Wedding Ever

We had our wedding at The Venue on 9/23/23 and it was perfect! From the beginning everyone we worked with was professional, organized and helpful! They were able to answer all of our questions. The location is absolutely gorgeous and didn't require a lot of extra decor. The food was delicious and the drinks were exactly what we wanted.

Perfection

Deandra and staff at the Ridge and the Venue did an outstanding job making this event perfect for us. Food was delicious, outdoor wedding and reception center were beautiful. They took care of everything for us and all we had to do was enjoy our guests in the evening.

Awesome Reception Venue

The Venue was one of 4 locations we toured when considering options of where to have our wedding. Located in the center of downtown Asheville, it is conveniently located within walking distance of pretty much everything downtown. Being in a historic building, the owners and staff have kept the rustic appearance with exposed brick and high ceilings.
The staff at the Venue were extremely helpful during the planning phase, and very responsive, even when we had last minute changes during the week building up to the wedding. The Venue were very helpful in allowing us to reschedule due to the pandemic. We chose to use the Venue for our reception. At our arrival, the staff were attentive to all our needs. They brought us drinks and appetizers while we waited for our introductions, ensured our glasses were never empty, and made the entire reception seamless.
Having a resident chef, the Venue provided their own meal options, removing the need for a caterer. So many of our guests commented that the meal (Arctic Salmon) was one of the best they had ever had at a wedding. The Venue also allowed us to serve the meal “family style”, which made the reception even more welcoming. The staff of the Venue went above and beyond in providing us a magical evening for our wedding day. I’d recommend the Venue to anyone looking for a place to host their ceremony, reception, or both.
