Wedding Planners in Ann Arbor

Where to begin with ATE.. I prefer to call them Ann and Kurtis because they truly feel like friends to me at this point. From the jump, I could be honest with them about my wants and needs for my wedding. I told them from the beginning that I'd be relatively hands off because this just wasn't my thing. I hired them with the intentions that they'd use my few keywords and apply them to their big ideas and boy, they did NOT disappoint. With very little direction from me, Ann and Kurtis created my dream wedding reception (within my budget, of course). They truly brought my vision to life with their design, florals, and vendor selections. As for the months leading up, Ann and Kurtis were extremely responsive and listened to all of my last-minute ideas, but also never hesitated to let me know what they thought was best. The vendors they found for our wedding were SPOT ON and our guests are still raving about them. From the catering company, the coffee bar, and the venue -- my day would truly not turned out as it did without the help of ATE. I can truly say I felt like a guest at my own wedding. I was able to mingle and dance while they ran the show and kept me on schedule. I didn't experience on ounce of stress on my wedding day, which is HUGE, because I knew they'd handle whatever the day threw at them. And as all brides know, something will be thrown. All down to the small details, like my veil getting stuck AF to my headpiece, Ann was there. Picking at my headpiece minutes before I walked down the aisle, to Kurtis bringing us snacks and drinks while we waited for our grand entrance. They were by our sides the entire day checking in on how we felt and what we needed. I will always keep Ann and Kurtis close to my heart after working with them this past year and cannot rave more about how great my experience was. My greatest tip is this: trust your vendors. If I had not trusted everyone involved, I would not have been as chill as I was. Everything was impeccable and I can't recommend them more for busy brides like me who don't want to touch a thing on their wedding day.

Because I resided in another State at the time, our relationship was for the most part long distance. This somewhat made me nervous. Angela assured me that was not to worry and that everything would be just fine. She was correct and I was totally pleased with this vendor. I highly recommend this wedding planner!

I fully expected to be “out of my head crazy busy” planning my daughter’s wedding. Instead it was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life thanks to Kaeli. The entire process was wonderful because Kaeli has mastered the art of creating a beautiful event while being ever mindful and diligent about the budget.

I can’t say enough about how spectacular Jessica is for all things wedding. She was essential for making my big day special, and when we had to postpone our wedding because of covid, she made the whole process easy and painless. When we decided to have a tiny wedding, she was just as essential to the process. Not only did she plan and coordinate the small wedding to perfection, she also arranged the most beautiful floral arrangements I have ever seen. I know nothing about flowers, so Jessica worked with me to figure out what types of colors I liked. After that, I gave her complete freedom to create something beautiful. And boy did she deliver. When I saw what she created I was absolutely blown away. Somehow she managed to create exactly what I wanted, without me even knowing what I wanted! She transformed the whole space, and I couldn’t believe how beautiful she made everything on such a small budget. The bouquet that she created for me was stunning in pictures, and it perfectly complimented my dress. It was easily my favorite part of my wedding look. After the wedding I told Jessica that I want her to do the florals for every future event that I am a part of. She is absolutely invaluable for the planning process and she is a genius with flowers, I couldn’t have made it through this year without her!

I LOVED HER! I was initially worried about being able to afford a wedding planner. But a friend recomended this company to me and they were fantastic. I'm having a huge wedding so I really needed some professional help. I told her that I could not afford much and I gave her my budget and she actually charged me based off of the work she did. I paid less than their normal fee actually. Their website is www.realievents.com, I couldn't find it when I googled it.

Nicole made our wedding day possible. Without her strategy, organization, and knowledge of the industry, we would have been totally (for lack of a better word) screwed. She helped us plan the event on a family property, which meant bringing every aspect of the big day to our site. That is A LOT to consider, especially with a bride and a groom who have ideas all over the place, but we were in good hands with Nicole. She has a true eye for design and was only encouraging in helping us make decisions before the wedding. She and her team also did our flowers, which were absolutely stunning and the arrangements came second nature to her. We cannot thank her enough for making our crazy ideas a reality!

From the moment that my fiancé and I Zoomed with Lisa during our initial consult, we felt at ease and in good hands. We laughed, bonded, and began our planning journey together that would last over a year. I had a lot of big dreams and visions, and Lisa took each of them seriously but respectfully as we navigated budgets and venue restrictions. I often referred to Lisa as my fairy god mother because she truly made my vision come to life. While she created and executed thoughtful details that brought me to tears over my wedding weekend, she was also a solace and cheerleader for me during the emotional, difficult parts of wedding planning. Her advice, wisdom, and knowledge about the wedding industry is vast but also detailed and tailored to her clients. She quickly picked up on our likes and dislikes and made sure to introduce us to vendors that we would mesh well with. Lisa continuously impressed us with her knowledge of venues and vendors – sometimes knowing more about venues than the venue itself! I never felt as if she was trying to upsell us in order to make more money or to work with a vendor just because she liked them. Lisa’s guidance and professionalism led us to having the most perfect, flawless day that we could have ever hoped for. When my hotel room didn’t have a full length mirror while I was getting ready, she bought one on her way to the venue. That is only one small example of the attention to detail and love that Lisa puts towards her clients and events. She is a seasoned professional that is enjoyable, reliable, and wonderful to work with. I will miss working with her. Thank you for such an amazing experience and incredible wedding!
