BOOK THEM NOW! We can't express how thankful we are to University Club of Pasadena for hosting our dream wedding. My husband and I toured countless venues and the services University Club provides exceeded them all. 1. You get the venue for the entire day! Other venues we toured had strict times we could enter, some even requiring the bride to arrive completely ready because there wasn't a space for HMU. Cinthia was so flexible and even allowed us to arrive at 6AM to begin getting ready! We had a brunch spread with our family/bridal party there, where Cinthia had the staff assist with setting up and tearing down our brunch tables. 2. The bar package is VERY flexible compared to other venues. We noticed that most of the venues we considered have a per-head cost, expensive since some of our elderly don't drink. UC instead allowed us to set a general bar limit, which afterwards they would convert into a cash bar (we didn't end up reaching our limit, but this was a very cost-effective set-up for us). 3. Joy and Tony were incredible at customizing our drinks! Joy had so many creative suggestions for Asian inspired drinks - they allowed us to have multiple taste testings and we landed on a lychee mojito and strawberry soju in a martini glass. We had SO many guests rave about our signature drinks, asking us for the recipes! 4. They went above and beyond for desserts!!!! We were so disappointed when other venues either don't allow outside vendors or have a fee - we're not cake people so we wanted to bring in Fosselman's ice cream instead. Cinthia and Chef Tony not only allowed us to bring in outside ice cream, but even told us that UC regularly serves Fosselman's for the club members so they could provide the ice cream for us instead of us bringing it! We originally wanted an ice cream bar, but they informed us they could only scoop the ice cream from the kitchen and have the waiters pass them around on trays because of their freezer location. However, the week of our wedding, Cinthia called us and said they've figured out a way to create our ice cream bar! It meant so much to us that UC was still trying to figure out a way to have our dream dessert station even though my husband and I were fine with tray-passed ice cream - and SO many guests complimented us for the ice cream station! 5. Cinthia and Chef Tony are very willing to work with you to make sure the entrees are exactly the way you want it! We initially weren't incredibly happy with the salmon during out taste testing, so they had us come in again to try the chicken with another free taste test (this is a huge deal - other venues often charge for taste tests)! They even allowed us to sub mashed potatoes for scalloped potatoes etc. I'll be honest - we thought the food at our taste testing was okay, pretty decent wedding food. BUT the food the night of our wedding was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! We had so many guests (some of our guests are even wedding coordinators) compliment us for the food! Multiple parents also said this wedding had the best kid meals they've ever seen with delicious chicken tenders and fries - I had a dad even ask if he could also have a kids meal! Other details that makes UC stand out... - Parking ON SITE with a private lot! - You have the entire building to yourself! - Indoors in case of rain! - I noticed some wedding websites giving UC three dollar signs, but this venue is actually VERY accommodating to your budget with fair prices - 10/10 STAFF. Cinthia, Tony (bar), Tony (chef), and Joy are absolutely amazing to work with!

If you’re searching for a venue that’s stunning and full of timeless elegance, Castle Green is it! From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony options, and its natural beauty means you don’t need a lot of extra decoration—it speaks for itself. Tatiana was such a pleasure to work with. She was incredibly helpful and made the planning process feel smooth and stress-free from start to finish. I highly recommend attending one of their open houses to meet their preferred vendors—it really helped us envision our day and make informed decisions. Brides: definitely consider adding the bridal suite. The extra space was so helpful while getting ready, and it made the whole experience even more special. We’re so happy we chose Castle Green—our day was unforgettable!

We took a look at several venues around the Pasadena area and loved the Westin the most. Their fountain ballroom is beautiful. They recently painted and re-did their carpet so it is really nice in there. Alma the catering manager is the best. She is also another huge reason why we chose the Westin. She is so sweet and helpful and did all she could to cater to what we wanted to make our day extra special.

The Pasadena Convention Center is a great venue to consider for your wedding or special event. With so many rooms and different spaces to choose from, there is a space available for you for both small and large receptions. The decor and building is sleek, minimal, clean, and modern, which serves as a good clean palette for you to bring in a lot of different florals, lighting, and rentals, so you can go either way with design whether its saturated with color, or just kept clean and simple. The staff is also great, their responsiveness is quick and professional and the staff is very on top of things. From booking, to planning your wedding, to the execution on the day-of your event, they are responsive and quick to action. As a planner, and also a guest who has attended events at this venue, it is a great value and the food is also really great too! I highly recommend it for any wedding reception, corporate party, or special event!

This venue made our wedding dreams come true! Every meeting was one we looked forward to and genuinely enjoyed. The beauty of the venue and kindness of those working their will forever me a part or our wedding memories!

The day of our wedding, the staff at the Sheraton was amazing. Very tentative and accommodating to make sure our special day was perfect. Even though we could not have our reception in the room we originally planned for due to renovation changes, everything turned out beautiful!

We met Ann Lancaster and Chef Tony and their delicious food at an open house over the weekend in Pasadena. They were very quick to respond to messages and set up a tour of the beautiful Romanesque Room. Ann and Tony welcomed my entire family when we showed up to view the location, the energy they carried made me feel comfortable to do business with them, they're the kind of people you want on your team when planning your wedding. The location is magnificent, the gorgeous foyer, the spacious ballroom, new hardwood flooring in the bar area, this location also has a spacious outdoor area where you can hold your ceremony or cocktail hour. Tony and Ann have been in the business for years and they can help you create your own dream day.

Westminster is a GORGEOUS French gothic cathedral built somewhere in the 1920s, complete with gorgeous stained glass windows! It is a bit pricey, but it compares well to other wedding venues. Pre-marital counseling is required and a part of the fee, but it is well worth it. Even if you are not religious or of a different faith, their counseling sessions are non-biased and non-judgmental. We enjoyed them so much that we were surprised how quickly they went by and we were sad when we found out we weren't going to have any more! As far as the venue itself, as others have said, no pre-recorded music is allowed. However, the pipe organ is incredible and if you can splurge to hire additional musicians (trumpet or guitar players), it would make it that much more awesome. We couldn't splurge, but the organ was beautiful all on its own (and honestly, I was so nervous walking down the aisle, the only thing I remember is trying not to fall and just waving hello at everyone). My only complaint is that one of the coordinators was a little less than professional when dealing with the bridal party. She snapped at my girls because we were running a few minutes behind schedule (as most weddings typically do). She thought she had been clear about getting them to line up, but she wasn't and she came back and snapped at them when they were just waiting to be told what to do. Considering that they are used to doing a LOT of weddings, I expected a little more decorum than that. Aside from that and a lack of proper air conditioning in the reception hall, those were the ONLY hiccups and everything else ran smoothly. The pastor is super nice (and funny!) and the rest of the staff is wonderful. I would absolutely recommend Westminster to host your wedding ceremony if you are looking for a gorgeous gothic cathedral with incredible stained glass windows and an exceptional counseling session that will help prepare you for your upcoming marriage.
