If you don’t have time to read our full review below, the brief headline is this: Booking The London for our wedding was hands-down the BEST planning decision that we made. The hotel’s event manager was responsive and caring throughout the process. For the last year+, we have been working with Matthew McKeon from The London. He helped us with every single step, from selecting the menu (we’re vegetarians, so picking a beef and fish dish was tricky for us – but our guests are still raving about the food a week later). He helped us decide on a layout for the ceremony and reception, among solidifying a thousand other details – and we trusted his opinions completely. He was responsive to our emails, gracious to work with, and by the time the wedding day arrived, we felt like he was a friend. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Matthew; his attention to detail, kindness, and availability genuinely made the experience what it was: Perfect. In addition to working with Matthew behind the scenes, ALL of the staff at The London were gracious and friendly with our guests. Sebastian, Wayne – I wish I remembered more names! – and everyone from the servers to the front desk staff made our friends and family feel welcome. We are so appreciative to them for making it a positive experience for everyone! Beyond the wonderful people working at the hotel, we cannot forget to mention the absolute stunning setting that The London provides. Our guests, from all over the world, were blown away by the views. We tried to keep everything very simple (we used the hotel’s linens, chairs, tables, dance floor, etc.) but it looked anything but basic. I have seen photos from other weddings in which the space is decorated to the nines, and of course that looks beautiful, as well… but we found that accoutrement to be unnecessary. From the moment guests arrived in the elegant lobby, to their stepping onto the rooftop, the hotel effortlessly set the tone. It felt simple, sophisticated, flawless. I wish I could relive our wedding day a thousand times, and I credit that in large part to our impeccable experience with The London. Thank you, thank you!

Well we kind of did it on the sly. We only had our officiant and witness so we did it in our suite. Beautiful setting. Top notch service. Great experience.

We had our wedding on January 2017 at the Andaz Hollywood. Staci Brener was our event planner. From the moment we contacted her, she made us feel like we were her number one priority. She responded to our emails promptly. No request was too large or difficult. The wedding ceremony was held on the mezzanine level. It was a spectacular setting with the Sunset Boulevard lights in the background. We had our cocktail hour in their beautiful wine gallery while the mezzanine level was set up for our dinner reception. The transition went off smoothly. The service was impeccable by their outstanding staff. The food was exceptional. The bartendar kept the drinks flowing. Overall, it was a magical night. If you want a different and unique wedding, this is the venue for you. We definitely will be returning to celebrate our one year anniversary. Thanks Andaz.

Church is amazing! The people of the church including Rev. Dave and Barbara the wedding Coordinator made the whole experience feel as though we were being taken care of by family members. They were sincere, helpful and we all joked around and had a great time. I couldn't have asked for a better Church.

Erin Hooper at Kimpton La Peer is absolutely incredible! She is intuitive, professional, incredibly smart, and is all about going above and beyond to meet your needs. We sadly could not fit all of our guests into the space, but if we were able to, we would be working with Erin. Kimpton La Peer has beautiful chic rooms for your guests, outdoor and indoor options for cocktail hour, ceremony, and reception. Don't miss out on this space and Erin's fabulous services. PS They have a gorgeous rooftop tent that provides incredible views. This is the best kept secret wedding venue in LA!

I would recommend Alexandra and her team without hesitation. Our wedding was a deeply cherished moment full of love, beauty and togetherness. Alexandra curated an exceptional day and made us both feel welcome, relaxed and fully present for our wedding. Our friends and family loved the ceremony, the wonderful intimate venue with lush gardens and a spectacular view. The house from 1920’s and is a rare combination of old-Hollywood charm, European elegance and modern sophistication - a dream come true for us both. Milly and I are deeply grateful that we found Alexandra - THANK YOU!
