We had our wedding reception aboard The Triumphant with Harbor Breeze Cruises and could not have asked for a better experience. Kim was responsive and organized throughout the planning process, and she consistently made us feel like she genuinely wanted to help us create the reception we had envisioned. One of the things we appreciated most was that Kim didn't just give us a list of what was and wasn't possible. When something we wanted wasn't a standard option, she would work with us to find a solution. For example, we needed somewhere to keep our desserts chilled before the reception, and Kim was able to make room for them in the dock fridge. We also wanted unique his-and-hers drinks, and she worked with the catering team to figure out which of our ideas they could accommodate. She also went out of her way to help us get The Triumphant at the specific time we wanted so that our reception would line up with sunset, which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the evening. The layout of The Triumphant was especially well suited to the type of reception we wanted. We were looking for more of a mingling and cocktail-hour-style atmosphere rather than a traditional sit-down wedding, and the smaller tables and open areas worked really well for that. Our guests were able to move around, mingle, enjoy the views, and spend plenty of time dancing. The atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for, and the sunset made the evening even more beautiful. The crew also went above and beyond in little ways throughout the evening. At sunset, my husband and I were outside taking wedding portraits when the captain noticed we were trying to get photos with the lighthouse in the background. He patiently adjusted the boat so we could get the shot we wanted, which ended up making for some of our favorite photos from the evening. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really added to the experience. The day itself was so easy for us because we knew everything was taken care of. We arrived and everything was ready to go, so we could focus on spending time with our family and friends instead of worrying about logistics. The food and drinks were great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and our guests had an amazing time. We would especially recommend Kim to couples looking for a smaller, unique wedding celebration. We wanted something that felt different from a traditional wedding venue but was still accessible for our family and friends who live locally, and having our reception on the water was exactly what we were looking for. We are so grateful to Kim for all of her help and for making the entire experience so enjoyable!

The first point of contact was julianne our daughters land coordinator.Outstanding service quick response emails and great communication.Julianne made the organising very easy. When we boarded the ship Maria took over. Well the service we received from this woman was beyond amazing.maria was there from start to finish not just the wedding day but the entire 3 days on board the ship making sure the day was going to be perfect. The hairdressers started there day 2 hours early to insure all 6 bridesmaids hair was done and then the bride. The salon was a party room with bubbly and snacks they made the whole experience relaxed and beautiful.we invited them to attend the ceremony as they were so invested and loving towards the whole bridal girls.the ceremony was at 1130 followed by a cocktail party 2-4 then a formal dinner in geovarnies 6-8. The dj Bruno was great at the cocktail party were he introduced speeches cutting of the cake and the bride and grooms first dance followed by 2 hours of party music. The photography by Chris was breathtaking a true talent. We wish to thank all from start to finish for the most amazing wedding and memories.

I don’t remember if I had originally left a review or not, but my wife and I are sitting here at dinner, talking about the proposal 6 years ago and how It was the best day of her life. Jane was amazing for helping me plan it between the countless emails back and forth, Captain Vic was fantastic in executing the perfect proposal plan- it would not have gone as smoothly without him. the rest of the crew was so on top of everything. The food was absolutely outstanding. We both were so impressed by the quality and level of service. From the hors d’oeuvres all the way down to the dinner and beverages. I highly highly recommend the Lady Hornblower for any and all events, or just a simple cruise.
