Voyager of the seas wedding
The first point of contact was julianne our daughters land coordinator.Outstanding service quick response emails and great communication.Julianne made the organising very easy. When we boarded the ship Maria took over. Well the service we received from this woman was beyond amazing.maria was there from start to finish not just the wedding day but the entire 3 days on board the ship making sure the day was going to be perfect. The hairdressers started there day 2 hours early to insure all 6 bridesmaids hair was done and then the bride. The salon was a party room with bubbly and snacks they made the whole experience relaxed and beautiful.we invited them to attend the ceremony as they were so invested and loving towards the whole bridal girls.the ceremony was at 1130 followed by a cocktail party 2-4 then a formal dinner in geovarnies 6-8. The dj Bruno was great at the cocktail party were he introduced speeches cutting of the cake and the bride and grooms first dance followed by 2 hours of party music. The photography by Chris was breathtaking a true talent. We wish to thank all from start to finish for the most amazing wedding and memories.

My husband I got married on The Explorer of the Seas ( Royal Caribbean) surrounded by our loves ones. After the intimate and beautiful ceremony, we has a lovely reception-you can book anything from appetizers to a full course meal. Hair and make-up services are available as well. It was a perfect day for us!

We honeymooned on Royal Caribbean Serenade of the Seas from September 11-18, 2011. The ports of call were amazing (Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Maarten, and St. Croix). I didn't like that the last day of the cruise wasn't a day at sea, as we were exhausted when we got back to San Juan (but luckily we had a few extra days in PR). The customer service department was awful. They didn't seem like they wanted to help answer questions. Other than that department, everyone on the ship was fabulous. I wish we would have paid a little more and gone on Oasis or Allure, but it was nice for what we paid.

We got married aboard the Liberty of the Seas. It was a beautiful venue and a great value. Royal Caribbean was extremely responsive and catered to our needs. The only thing is you don't know exactly which room you will get until a couple weeks prior to the wedding. We got lucky with a beautiful view from high on the ship.

I am in the process of planning my elopement ceremony aboard the Harmony of the Seas by RC and so far the process has been fairly simple and straight forward. My fiancé and I are hoping to have the cruise booked when we go on our next cruise in August on the Allure of the Seas. We are currently thinking about choosing a Junior suite since this is our wedding, but that's still up in the air. Our wedding will be our third cruise together aboard RC and so far we LOVE this cruise line. The responsiveness of Kayla at Royal Celebrations has been great so far, she has answered my questions as I send them to her. The price for just my fiancé and I is extremely reasonable, $850. My only concern is the cost of the photos themselves. I don't mind paying extra for more time with the photographer after the ceremony, but I definitely am hoping we have the option to just buy all of our negatives for a lower price than what I have been quoted so far ($399.99-945.95). I will write a review when things are all said and done, but that won't be until May 2018!

The planning of our wedding was a huge headache. Royal Romance is slow to respond and overall was a very frustrating experience. I am still trying to figure out why I had to pay for 2 wedding planners for 27 people because they layed off 1 of the planners about 2 weeks before our wedding. With that said, once we set sail, the Oasis of the Seas and Royal Caribbean was amazing. Once on-board we dealt with a cruise program administrator, Scott, who was worth his weight in gold! He met with us on Sunday (wedding was Tuesday) and went over everything. He took our champagne glasses, favors, etc... so that we didn't have to worry about all that stuff the day of the wedding. He met us upon departure for the wedding to assure we made it to our transportation to the ceremony (in St Thomas) and he met our party to do the same. When we got back to the ship, we had 2 non-sailing guests trying to get back onto the boat. Royal Romance said it was not a problem, but when they were getting back on the boat it was a problem, the security people were not being helpful. Scott went down to the security point and got them on the boat. The reception was amazing, held in the Dazzles Lounge. The food was awesome, cake was wonderful (they even brought up the rest of the cake to dinner that night in the dining room). The staff was unbelievable!!! I would highly recommend a cruise wedding and at the end of it all, it was pretty much flawless, but just know you will have to deal with Royal Romance which is a third party wedding planner. They do not work for Royal Caribbean and they are a headache.

Royal Caribbean was my transportation and hotel for my Ensenada Wedding at Casa de los Siete Patios in Mexico. My cruise departed on Friday from San Pedro. The cost for a 3.5 day cruise down and back started at about $300 per person and included all food. The ability to have everyone together made up for some of the worn or lack luster features of the boat. My husband and wedding party all had suites with balconies that made for a fantastic party when we did not want to mingle with the other cruisers. When we wanted to go play we had the casino, pool and sports bars. It was a great way to travel into Mexico with a big group and we all felt very safe.

I would not recommend using Royal Caribbean if you are on on the Mid/West side of the U.S. The wedding planners are on East Coast hours for the most part and scheduling was super stressful. I had many issues with the pre-planning part and literally did not get a final say on my cake design until 1-3 days before we left on the actual cruise. I was told to submit my design and they would say whether the pastry chef could do it. I submitted my design (choosing a super simple one because I have a background in catering/events) but didn't hear back, when I was confirming my details, I mentioned the cake and at that point was told the pastry chef couldn't do it (this was a week out from the wedding). I was then given a photo of what they could do instead, which I hated (all white with squiggles), and then had to research a few more "simple" options and send over to see if any of those would work. My contact person left halfway through and I was notified I would have a new person contact me. I finally had to reach out and then most of my planning went through an assistant. The group rooms were completely separate, which I was fine with, but if you do a group rate they have to call and book direct vs putting a code in online AND you have to make payments through the groups department, which also followed East Coast hours, when most of my guests were working. They are open Saturday, but it was still super inconvenient and most of my party found better rates online in general. Lastly, there is no follow up post event survey or any indication that the company cares that you booked your event with them.....all that being said, the in-person event manager was AWESOME and did a phenomenal job. The cake, which unfortunately didn't look anything like what it was supposed to, was undeniably delicious under the half inch layer of fondant.

Our wedding is about 7 weeks away and I have not heard anything from our event planner. I have so many questions. About what needs to be done. I've already been passed around 4 times between different wedding planners. A few months back I paid 6,200 dollars. Now there is still the dinner, drinks, DJ, pictures...... Etc. to pay for. I have sent Emails, left messages and never was called back. My fiancé already assumes they this wedding is going to be some kind of joke. And it's too late for us to back out after all our guests already have hotels and flights booked. There is so much I can go on complaining about. So far I have had a terrible experience, and the wedding hasn't even happened.

I would've prefer to have the ceremony on my backyard
royal Caribbean cruises are the best! However, when it comes to weddings they have no clue how to make a memorable wedding ceremony, and their answer to all the negatives Is that the wedding department is a different company, and that they have no saying on how things are done. On the day of my arrival I handed my wedding dress to the personnel so they can send it to iron and press, I handed it on its cover and they called me the day prior to my wedding to tell me there was a hole on the back of my dress, now all I received was an apology and thats it. I had a lot of questions before making the wedding reservation, but they told me that I needed to have a reservation in order to answer all my questions, and I was naive enough to make the reservation, or maybe I was too exited about getting married on a cruise. I was disappointed on everything except the food, the "wedding planner" they offer you doesn't do anything for you, so, if you're thinking you'll seat back and relax, you're wrong.
