My husband and I just celebrated our wedding here September 6,2025 and there are no words for how magical this place is. We had 75 guests celebrate with us on the Fountain Patio and Amanda with her team (Mariya, Krystal, and Karla) made the day stress free and unforgettable. The venue is accommodating, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is beautiful. We had the pleasure of getting ready and staying the evening at The Amethyst Inn next door and I highly recommend for weddings or even just staying the night! Amanda, Mariya, Krystal, and Karla were always checking in and really did give us a worry-free evening as well as the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen (although I may be a little biased). We even had the pleasure of enjoying brunch the next day!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Coco Palm. The view, the architecture, and the layout of the building all provided an elegant, unique backdrop for our theme. In fact, it wasn't until I toured the property that I was inspired to create our dreamy aesthetic. We loved working with the staff at Coco Palm because they KNOW weddings, it's what they do so they already pretty much know what people are going to ask, what they are going to want. The service of the waitstaff at our wedding was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could ask for and treated us like royalty. All of our guests had great feedback about the service as well. Last but not least, the food is obviously delicious and something special for a wedding. It was a priority for us to have a great dinner for our guests and Coco Palm was perfect. The packages they offer for events are a really great value compared to every other venue we looked at. So much is included, and it helped alleviate some of our planning stress. Can't wait to go back and celebrate more events here!

The Bluewater Grill was amazing, Vida, the wedding coordinator was beyond fantastic. She helped us with everything from seating charts to complete day-of execution. Communication was amazing, it was the most perfect, stress-free day and everything was handled. I did not use a wedding planner, I went more casual and laid-back and it couldn’t have gone any better. We had the ceremony and reception in the upstairs private room. Vida helped coordinate with DJ and photographers to ensure everything was in place. The food was amazing, we plan to return every year on our anniversary for dinner!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! The ambience is absolutely stunning. It was exactly the vibe we dreamed of for our day. The food was incredible and the service was outstanding! Everything felt thoughtful, seamless and so well cared for. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting every detail and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

From the moment we met Natalie and her team and walked into the Ocean View room, we knew this was THE spqce where we wanted our wedding to happen. And through the months of continuous indecisiveness, Natalie and her team were so abundantly supportive and helpful in making the important decisions regarding our wedding. The planning process became doable because Natalie and Tina were always willing to go the extra mile, no matter how simple the request. Besides the amazing team, it is truly wonderful to be given an option that was not a classical wedding menu, but really fit the Hawaiian 🌺 and seaside 🌊 vibe of the location. We were able to try many different menu items and make slight adjustments with our $150 credit before the wedding. Natalie and her team made sure that allergies were well noted and that special plates were being accommodated for our guests. Our guests raved about the food! The staff during our wedding was competent, quick, and efficient. They accommodated our needs in storing our wedding cake the night before the wedding and allowed space in their schedule for our baking fairies to put on the final touches before our ceremony. We were able to add our own desserts for a dessert fee per person, and the kids loved the ice cream Hula pie that was provided by Duke’s! We fell a bit behind in our schedule on our wedding day, so the only thing that could have been better was if we had actually had the chance to enjoy more of the wonderful and delicious food that we chose. Find a good photographer and get ready for a picture-perfect wedding! Thank you so much, Natalie and Tina for your continuous support and dedication in making our day so special! My now husband and I only had one wedding venue in mind when we finally decided to get married, our favorite restaurant, bar and events space - Redbird. We had an intimate ceremony followed by a entertaining and lovely cocktail reception in the garden. We utilized the pizza oven and had our favorite pizza in LA from Zach Pollack of Cosa Buona. We were able to select a few specialty cocktails created by Tobin Shea which our guests fully enjoyed. We were seated for dinner in the garden under twinkling lights surrounded by our closest friends and family. The staff at Redbird were warmly attentive and ensured all guests had an amazing time. Most of our guests had to be rolled out of the garden after enjoying our family style meal of chawanmushi, whole crispy black bass, ribeye, Brussels sprouts, and pomme aligot. After our elaborate dinner we moved up to the west room to continue celebrating with more cocktails and a dance party. My husband and I were so happy with every aspect of our wedding, we didn’t have a stress or worry our entire day. When we woke up the next day we both asked each other if we could do it over again. Our reception was flawless thanks to Amarjit and staff at Bombay Palace. Even now, people still talk about how amazing the food was. We were so happy with the friendly staff, variety on the menu, the set up and how the venue looked - if you haven't seen Bombay Palace since the renovations, you have to check it out. This is by far the best venue for a beautiful space with great food and a reasonable price. They have been in the business for a long time and very trustworthy and easy to work with.

WeddingWire will not give me adequate space to explain how wonderful the Lawry's Catering team is! They catered my outdoor wedding for 180 guests back in August 2016. I was hesitant to reach out to them at first b/c I never thought they would be able to work with my budget (I had other vendors tell me my budget was too small for 180 guests), but Lawry’s catering is surprisingly affordable! They provide a lot of value for what they charge (high quality food options, most employees at your event, the lowest barware/glassware/silverware cost anywhere, early booking incentives, dining credits, etc.). On top of that, the catering coordinator, Miranda Roy, is hardworking, detail-oriented, proactive and a joy to work with. My guests are still giving me great feedback on the food and dinner service at my wedding (some have even thanked me for giving me their first Lawry’s experience!). Food was the number one priority for me when I was planning my wedding (didn’t even look at a venue unless it allowed for outside catering) and something that had initially caused a lot of stress, but after I booked with Lawry’s, I can honestly say that I did not once worry about the food aspect of the event.

Overall, we were very happy with our 50 person traditional-inspired wedding at Castaway. We used their outdoor patio and trellis for the ceremony and cocktail hour, then the Verdugo room for the dinner and reception. The sales manager was fun, friendly, helpful, and really tried to make all our details work out well. She was communicative and we were very pleased with their level of service. The venue quality and services were excellent and on the wedding day, we were impressed by the food and staffing. Our guests really liked the temperature and quality of the food, and we received many compliments from guests. We had a little hiccup with valet on the day of the event, so make sure you get all of the details figured out on the day of with the operational team. However, this does not lessen my recommendation :)
