I'm so happy we found this hidden gem in Santa Monica. I can't thank Tiato enough for the outstanding service they provided for our wedding. The venue itself has a charming, modern yet rustic feel. The outdoor garden was perfect for the ceremony and dinner. There is a large fire pit outside for a s'mores bar and indoor space has a very large bar! Overall, the space is the perfect size for weddings of any size.
Phillip & Tara worked with us to create the event that we had envisioned within our budget. They were extremely professional and wonderful to work with.
The venue is becoming increasingly popular, so book early!

We had our ceremony at St Monica's Church and our reception at Tiato. There were some misunderstandings with a previous event manager that isn't working there anymore but Joe was so accommodating and understanding of our culture and customs that it really rectified everything and came out so much better than I imagined. I'm Asian and having a reception outside of the usual 10 course dinner made my parents super hesitant but the food is soooo amazing and fulfilling that our Asian family and friends didn't complain one bit that they didn't get their Taro dessert. lol. Our guests are still talking about Braised Beef and the Miso Fish (not the exact names..) and even the parsnip puree that they thought was mashed potatoes. It satisfied my Asian side of the family and the Mexican side of my husband's family. It was the cheapest place that we were quoted for as a venue + food + drinks but was also the most beautiful with the garden outside with a winery feel inside. This is a lot longer than I thought and I could talk so much longer but I won't. Seriously I can't recommend Tiato enough.

I’m SO happy we had our wedding ceremony and reception at Tiato.

We hired Joe and Phil at Tiato to be our Day of Coordinators, and they did an amazing job! The venue itself is already beautiful, so we needed minimal décor to make the event shine. Tiato staff was also very detail oriented and added many finishing touches to our wedding using their own décor. Joe was very attentive during the wedding, and made sure my husband and I were always taken care of.

The food was also VERY good! We did a buffet style dinner with the sole, braised beef, and garlic noodles and everyone loved it! They even had fire pits for s’mores, which my guests were very excited about!

Tiato made all of my wedding dreams come true.
First off, the venue is so dreamy--it made the perfect backdrop to our special day.
Secondly, they custom made a 100% vegan menu for my 150+ guests and tons of non-vegans raved about it!!
Alyssa Torma was my coordinator and "wedding angel" and I could not have had a successful wedding without her. Hannah was delightful to work with and very excited to do the vegan menu!
All my guests loved everything about Tiato and we are so pleased we chose them to host our wedding. It was perfect!

We were set on getting married in our church in Santa Monica (St. Monica) which meant we had a narrow selection of reception venues to choose from within the proximity - mainly uninteresting hotel ballrooms which are also very expensive. We were pleasantly surprised when Tiato came our way by recommendation of another engaged friend's wedding coordinator (who we also ended up hiring).

We fell in love with Tiato after stepping foot in their beautiful urban garden but it was the food and staff that was really the icing on the cake for us. The event space is indoor/outdoor with a gorgeous Napa-esque bar inside. The outdoor space has a beautiful contained garden with succulent walls, market lights and a gorgeous tree with hanging lanterns, which provided the backdrop for our first dance.

Our must haves for our reception were hip space already well-decorated and awesome food as we would consider ourselves to be foodies! Tiato not only met all of our must haves but also was an incredible value - great quality for the price - and was a joy to work with all the way through.

Tiato is owned by the family who owns Crustacean in Beverly Hills as well as An Catering, both hot food spots for dining and catering in LA so I knew the food would be to die for before we did our tasting. Our tasting was a culinary journey...Hannah An, joined Alyssa to help us with our tasting and was able to help us craft the best pairings and walk us through all of the food and customization options. They also were inventive with our cocktails.

Our guests raved not only about how beautiful our wedding was but how insane the food was. The taste and the presentation were both amazing. Our main contact was Alyssa Torma who is a total darling - efficient, responsive, and professional - all the things you would want in a catering coordinator. Every member of the Tiato staff was kind, professional, fun...I could go on.

Tiato did a great job in working with us to prep and the day of they were very responsive to anything we asked for. Joe the day of manager was excellent. Thank you, Tiato!!

Beautiful venue. Amazing food. A few flowers and uplights were all we needed to create a perfect ceremony and reception feel. All the guests had a great time. The owners, coordinators, and staff are all wonderful. Thank you for an amazing night, Tiato! Special thanks to Michelle and Hannah. :)
