Built in 1928, The Oviatt Building is an enduring love-letter to the city’s glitzy heritage and the golden age of Hollywood. An Art-Deco masterpiece, guests will marvel at this downtown gem’s striking design. Bold geometric contours define the space which is decorated in tones of rich gold leaf and dark mahogany and accented by ornate Lalique sculpted glasswork. The spacious dance hall is entered by the grand staircase, an ideal backdrop for a glamorous wedding photoshoot. Overhead waterfall chandeliers hang gracefully from the raised ceiling as up to 500 invitees mingle and dance below.
