A nationally registered historic monument, Castle Green is over 120 years old, and was built in the Victorian era by Col. George G. Green of the Patent Medicine Business. Designed by architect Frederick Roehrig, the structure was originally designed as the annex for the famed Hotel Green to house wealthy individuals coming to visit sunny California and reside in luxury resort fashion. With many of the original features, most rooms incorporate the Moorish Revival style, with the exterior boasting the Mediterranean Revival style. Its rooms have housed vacationing tycoons and presidents, and the grounds provide popular photography and filming locations today.

This was the first venue we looked at and we loved it but as a formality we looked at a couple more only to realize that the CastleSent on 04/27/2019
Green met all of our expectations and wants in a venue. The castle isn’t just a gorgeous classic venue it comes with an amazing crew. Dior and Alexis treated us like family from the beginning. Their service alone makes the venue amazing . They have so much experience which left us at ease since we planned our wedding in less than 5 months! There are no cons to this venue. You won’t regret having an event here!

The Perfect Venue
We visited many different venues around Los Angeles, Glendale, Arcadia, and Pasadena for our wedding ceremony and reception that we wanted hosted at one location. We ended up choosing Castle Green, not just because of the historical architecture and mesmerizing view, but because of the customer service. Dior, the Event Manager at Castle Green, was such a pleasure to work with. She was always smiling and so fun to be around with. We also met and worked with Alexis. She was so friendly and helpful. We loved working with them both.Sent on 09/13/2019
The venue was definitely one of the pricier expenses for the wedding but it was seriously worth every time. You get the venue for the entire day. We maximized our time there with our first look, tea ceremony, wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The venue fit our amount of guests of a little over 100 very comfortably. Everyone raved about the venue. My now-husband's mom even said it was the perfect venue.
We were so excited to host our wedding here because it was no-like any other wedding venues that we've been to. From the set-up, the capacity of the multiple rooms, the layout, to the many, many, many places to take photos within Caste Green, I have no regrets choosing Castle Green for my wedding. We even got to go on the manual elevator to the rooftop for photos -- definitely a must-do if you decide to book with Castle Green.

Wonderful for your day + more!
So first thing you must know is that you get a HUGE first floor area of Castle Green for the wedding. The main ballroom holds the reception (or ceremony + reception), the parlors for guests to mingle, the lawns to play games and more mingling. It's amazing! It's also basically completely decorated as it is, so we didn't even bother to add extras, but I'm sure you can. Dior the events manager was wonderful in helping us with our desired wedding date's availability and guiding us through the entire process. The list of preferred vendors were also amazing and know the venue from top to bottom. We highly recommend choosing their preferred vendors for the smoothest day you could ever imagine!Sent on 11/15/2018
