Woodlands is a STUNNING venue and Stephen and Janelle are amazing humans. Here are the reasons why it was a perfect fit for our wedding and why we highly recommend it:

Aesthetically beautiful: Woodlands is seriously one of the most beautiful venues out there. Outside: it overlooks the foothills so you get incredible views of the mountains and the forest. The outside has been beautifully designed to give you those views during the ceremony; then the outside is also beautifully designed for you and your guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. Inside: the barn is new, updated, spacious, and left empty, already has an ethereal presence. It is also the perfect blank slate for you to bring your vision to life! You will have the most beautiful photos here and your guests’ will delight in its beauty.

Location: It’s only ~30 min from Denver, so you can have a mountain-esque wedding while still making it easy to get to for your traveling guests

Spacious: We hosted 170 people with a live band and the venue’s size was perfect to accommodate all of us

Built in weather contingency: no need to worry about making other arrangements if it snows/rains/other wild Colorado weather as the barn is a beautiful space for both the ceremony and reception

Ease: Booking with Woodlands made the rest of our wedding planning experience easier because of the additional items Stephen/Janelle thought through for us: the venue already comes with tables/chairs so we didn’t need to rent them; there is a groom’s suite and bridal cottage (both also stunning) to get finish getting ready; they have vendor strong relationships and you can tell when vendors come to Woodlands, everyone works extremely well together, like they are family

Experience: finally, Stephen and Janelle were great to work with. They provide clear and reliable communication, and they genuinely care and will partner with you to have the best day of your life!

The venue is an absolute dream! Working with Stephen, Janelle, and Tory (as our in-house coordinator) was a fabulous experience. They are so accommodating and went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect! The property is gorgeous and they do a beautiful job maintaining it. We had an amazing experience having our wedding at Woodlands! We were obsessed with the place the moment we stepped foot on the property.
