We cannot speak highly enough of the Pines at Genesee. Every member of their staff was exceptionally kind and focused on making our day special and they made sure that we didn’t have to worry about the details. The planning process was very easy, we were able to plan everything in one meeting. The day of, everything went smoothly. They interacted with all of our vendors so we didn’t need to worry about any of it. While we were taking pictures, they brought us a tray of appetizers so that we could still enjoy them, and dinner was ready to go when we returned. The food was all incredible and we heard many compliments from our guests! In addition to helping everything run smoothly, they were very willing to work with our alterations to the typical ceremony. We didn’t get a chance to eat much of our dinner so they packed it in a box and sent it home with us. One huge benefit was that we could decide how long the party should go once we started. We were given the chance to add an extra hour during the reception. Before the reception, we didn’t know if people would be wanting to stay so we were guessing we wouldn’t need the extra hour, but we decided that night to use it and it was the right decision.

Initially, the lack of provided alcohol seemed like a potential headache, but we were able to order wine and beer through Applecjacks (recommended by the pines). This made the alcohol super easy and all of it was our favorite wines and beers. This ended up being less expensive and better than the alcohol provided by other venues.

Overall, 100% of our interactions with the individuals at the pines were great, their prices are very affordable, they made the whole night go incredibly smoothly, and their food was amazing. We would highly recommend the Pines at Genesee to any couple looking for a wedding venue.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Pines at Genessee Wedgewood for my sister and brother-in-law’s wedding! From the moment we arrived, they made sure everything went seamlessly, attending to every detail with professionalism and warmth. The entire team, especially Morgan, the event captain, went out of their way to ensure the day was perfect and that all of our needs were met. They were kind, courteous, and genuinely caring.

What really stood out to me was their extraordinary customer service. As the night was winding down, I found myself in a panic about the weather conditions, and Morgan stepped in with such compassion, calming me down. To top it off, Morgan had her amazing server sister, Claire, follow me down the mountain to make sure I got home safely. It’s rare to see such dedication, and it truly speaks to how much they care for their guests.

If you want a place that goes above and beyond in every way, I cannot recommend Pines at Genessee Wedgewood enough. They truly make you feel like family, and it shows that they love what they do.

Planning with Wedgewood Weddings has been such a great experience so far! Liv and the rest of the team have been so organized and on top of everything, it really has made the planning experience less stressful and more enjoyable for me and my partner. The venue is beautiful, the food tasting was delicious, and the vendors they work with have all been professional and great to work with. We're excited to have our wedding here!

The Pines by Wedgewood Weddings hosted our wedding on 8/01/2024. Our day was a dream come true! We wanted a mountain venue, and The Pines was a perfect choice. Both outdoors and indoors are absolutely stunning. We loved having an outdoor ceremony in the forest and an indoor/outdoor reception with the patio during August. As for their team - I can't recommend them enough. The entire year of planning and the wedding day were flawless. They thought of details that never would have entered my mind and were absolutely on point with communication. I truly never had to stress over anything and was completely free to party and interact with our guests on our wedding day. Cristen was a fabulous day of coordinator. We were also working with a limited budget, and Cristen and the team were happy to lay out all of our options and help us make it work. Booking our wedding through The Pines at Wedgewood Weddings was worth every penny. I highly recommend this venue and team! We thank you for the perfect wedding!

When I proposed to my fiancée, I knew that planning the wedding would be a massive task. I have been involved in several weddings before, so I knew how involved it could be. Wedgewood Weddings at the Pines not only has an amazing venue in Colorado but has several other features that made wedding planning a breeze.
The first thing that we saw was the venue. The unique location, right in the mountains outside of Golden, checked off all the aesthetics that we wanted – surrounded by nature and pine trees, an experience of the Rockies (and of course a ride that isn’t too far away from civilization). The venue itself is great. We had an opportunity to visit it beforehand and it has a nice floorplan with large windows and a balcony that overlooks nature. We love the Colorado mountain atmosphere, and this place has all of it. The outdoor ceremony location is amazing, so we are bummed we didn’t get to have an outdoor wedding!
The second great thing about Wedgewood was the staff (Sara and Audrey helped us with our wedding). They were extremely responsive and flexible. They were transparent throughout the whole planning process, followed through with anything we asked, and answered all our questions. They made sure to periodically check in and keep track of the whole wedding process. Because they were so experienced, this took a ton of stress off me and my fiancée.
The third great thing about Wedgewood is the flexibility of customization as well as the features included. Looking into other venues, things are often not included in the venue (i.e. food catering, the cake, florals, invitations, drinks, DJ services, officiant, etc.) which means you will have to go find and organize them yourself. The fact that the pricing is competitive with other places, but you have so many of these things included, was more than worth it. They gave us a wedding binder which easily explains all the aspects of the wedding and keeps it organized. In terms of customization, we were able to add or remove specific things that we did or didn’t want. For example, accent lightings are a part of the elite package, but we only had the premium. They allowed us to include these in our wedding despite not having the deluxe package. We were also able to remove a few things as well that we didn’t want. Don’t even get me started with how easy it was coordinating florals, cakes, or the photographer either! I am very grateful that a lot of the nitty gritty was taken care of so we could focus on other aspects of the wedding without stress.
I’m writing this a few months before my wedding and the process up until now has been smooth and enjoyable. I cannot wait until we actually get married at Wedgewood at the Pines in a few months!

I booked this venue when it was still The Pines at Genesee and not owned by Wedgewood Weddings and Events. The transition between the two happened prior to my wedding and was a bit chaotic and confusing at times but everyone helped answer all my questions during the transition. We ended up with Audrey as our coordinator and she was amazing! She was on top of everything from the moment of assignment to day-of. She ran our timeline amazingly and helped so much when we found out that our main photographer didn’t show up and we had a backup coming in later. Her help and guidance on the day was really a stress reliever and everything ran so smoothly. The venue is beautiful, and I am so glad we chose to have my wedding here. The food was also absolutely amazing! We had breakfast and people are still raving about the waffles!

Our daughter's wedding was at the Pines in July. Stephanie was our coordinator and went above and beyond in every way! Her responsiveness and genuine caring about every detail shined through! The venue was beautiful and the staff was fantastic. Everyone had an amazing experience and everything flowed so smoothly from the planning to the rehearsal and most especially on the day of the wedding. They ensured that the vision of the bride and groom played out perfectly and worked so well with all of the vendors. Highly recommend this venue to anyone!

My fiancé and I were unable to schedule an on-site tour together due to our schedule but Pines we’re super flexible with us and were able to set up a virtual tour for us so that we could still speak with a representative right away, get our questions answered and get our quotes. We did eventually see the venue during an “Open House” and it was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and super helpful through the whole process. One thing led to another and we signed! Can’t wait to start planning! 🤍

My husband and I wanted our wedding to be in the mountains, but also close enough to the airport for out-of-state guests. This location was not only perfect for its location to the airport, but also full filled our needs and wants. Lauren was our coordinator throughout the process and for the day of our wedding. She was always responsive to our questions and had a great attitude. She was very flexible and communicated well throughout our wedding day. I never felt left in the dark, but also not overwhelmed with too much information. We were thrilled to have her! We chose the Bistro Buffet and the food was excellent. The staff even made sure we had a plate and time to enjoy the meal. During the wedding planning, I found out that the venue, the Pines, is also well-known around Golden with lots of our vendors already working frequently with them and speaking highly of the location and staff. Overall, the Pines made our wedding day perfect and I am so grateful we chose them for our special day!

There's no other way to describe our wedding other than perfect. It was so easy to plan this special event with the help of their amazing coordinators and on the big day I couldn't get over how on top of everything the staff was!
