My wife loved Ken Caryl Vista so much when we toured it that we ended up booking there without looking at any other venues. Kade made us feel comfortable and right at home as a lesbian couple, and their kindness and enthusiasm (along with the rest of the planning team!) carried us through the next two years of wedding planning.

Our wedding day this past September went smoothly with only a few minor hitches that had nothing to do with the venue, and Kade set everything up perfectly. My wife and I had an amazing time and didn't want it to end! Our guests all had extremely complimentary things to say about the venue from the layout to the drinks to the food (fear not—the food is excellent, and everyone raved about it). And all of the vendors we used through Ken Caryl Vista (Event Rents, Mulberries Cake Shop, and Juniper & Honey Floral) were amazing too.

Don't let the unassuming location throw you off. Once you're in the venue with everything set up, you feel completely transported. If we had to do our wedding over again, we would not hesitate to pick Ken Caryl Vista a second time.

What an incredible venue! We planned our wedding from out of state, and could not have done it without the incredible team at Wedgewood! We first had a great intro meeting Kade, who took us on a virtual tour of the property -- we ended up booking it before even seeing the space in person! Once we got out to Colorado, we popped in to see the venue and got to meet with Heidi, who was great and answered so many of our questions. Our planning calls were so thorough and covered every little detail, including things we hadn't even though of ourselves. And the binder they provided gave us a timeline for when we should aim to have every step of planning done so we didn't have any additional stress in navigating this process, they were with us for every step! Ken Caryl also has great vendors that we loved working with as well. And the food was so delicious -- one of our guests still raves about the tortellini!

Jenna was our day-of coordinator, and we couldn't be more amazed at how smoothly everything went. They set up all of our decor exactly how we envisioned and the ceremony, cocktail areas, and reception spaces were all beautiful! The whole team was professional, energetic, and thoughtful. Despite the number of weddings they do, they still managed to make us feel important and special. They thought of everything and came through on the smallest details!

The space itself is beautiful and the location is ideal. We were so close to restaurants, and hiking, walking distance from hotels (very important to us for people to get back safely), and we even had a place to board our dog down the street so he could be part of the ceremony! Yet, somehow, the space feels secluded. It was great to get to use different parts of the property at different times so the guests were able to move around but never had to travel to a different location.

Overall, we could not be more thankful and our wedding was perfect! We would recommend the Wedgewood team at Ken Caryl to anyone!

Wow wow wow, hats off to Wedgewood! My time at Ken Caryl Vista was exceptional from the moment my husband and I walked our tour to the final moments as we were leaving from our perfect wedding night. I really want to mention Felicia and Kade on the Ken Caryl Vista team. Kade was someone who helped us from the beginning and they were extremely enthusiastic and eager to plan us the perfect wedding. Felicia was our day-of coordinator and she went above and beyond in planning, coordinating, and the execution of our big day. Wedgewood is completely transparent about pricing and that was maintained until the very end. You are paying for your wedding but you are also paying for stellar service and an unbelievable team. FOOD WAS AMAZING! Drinks were flowing, and I felt like I could sit back, relax, and wait for my cue. Of course I had nightmares about my special day not turning out the way I wanted, but Felicia grabbed me before the ceremony I saw my vision perfectly executed. Book with Wedgewood if you want a perfect night with a team that is willing to show up for you!!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect!! The team at Wedgewood is so attentive & helpful in the planning phase and during the actual wedding. They made everything go so smoothly, and ensured that we would enjoy ourselves! We can’t recommend them enough!

The team is very friendly, detail-oriented and organized with their timelines, keeping us on our toes to plan. Although it was a destination wedding for us, it felt so seamless. They even send you a wedding binder was such a great touch and definitely needed for us.

From the very beginning, Heidi gave us a fun, informative venue tour and we fell in love with the space and services immediately. She answered all our questions and laid out the pricing of everything clearly.

Further into the process, we got to meet with our coordinator Amanda and she was bubbly and delightful. She was accommodating on guiding us to make many decisions and gave great suggestions. During our wedding day, she was positive & reassuring even though we were running behind schedule. I really appreciate her for calming my nerves and making sure things were running smoothly and we were getting fed (still dreaming of those delicious appetizers)! Also loved the champagne/mimosa set up in our bridal room when we arrived!

They also have a cool spring extravaganza for couples to try out the food and photobooth. We loved getting to meet other couples and get to experience how our guests would feel like. BIG KUDOS!

Kade had great energy and was very funny during our final meeting and during the rehearsal. They kept up the good vibes and hyped our family and friends up. They took good care of our wedding items the day before & made sure it was good to go the next day for our coordinator.

Their recommended floral and bakery vendors were wonderful. Mulberries Cake Shop planned our vision of cake and cupcakes to exactly what we wanted. The desserts were a hit and our guests couldn’t stop raving about them.
Juniper & Honey were able to execute the color and floral combo I had described to them perfectly. My bridesmaids & I all loved our bouquets.

Sydney was a great banquet captain. She made sure the ceremony entrance was running smoothly and along with the schedule of food, donut wall, and cake. There were also some photobooth printing issues at one point but she & the team resolved it quickly so much appreciated! Cool as a cucumber.

A big memorable part of our day was the bar. Firstly, they helped us design a very cute signature cocktail sign! And we wanted to give Gabe the bartender a huge shout-out. Our crowd had heavy bar activity but he handled it with such professionalism. No cutting corners, he made every drink solid & strong from start to finish. Many of our guests discovered their favorite drinks that day.

Our DJ was amazing! DJ Zeyta was so personable, fun, and chill. She was able to guide us respectfully through our activities and timeline to make sure we were back on track with our timeline. Not only was she a DJ, but she became a dance lead for our guests and everyone had such a blast dancing to “Wobble” with her!

We are still on cloud nine from what a perfect day we had and it’s a big thanks to the KCV team. The table & plate set-up was arranged exactly how we wanted. The food was spectacular, such as the crab cakes, Jamaican jerk chicken skewers, and braised short rib (shout out to our chefs Bret & Chris!!) Our guests loved the photobooth; the lighting + props were the best. We also appreciated that they packed us the leftover cake and food for us to enjoy after 😊

We would definitely recommend Ken Caryl Vista to other couples. Big thank you to everyone who made this dream destination wedding a success!!!

Buckle up, this is going to be a long winded dedication comment to explain the extreme badassery that is the entire team at Ken Caryl.

Amanda Myers, the person we originally met with as we toured the venue and first became interested in Wedgewood locations in Colorado. She matched my energy level from the very beginning, and walked us around while bringing our vision to life as she asked us questions and offered suggestions to make the wedding what we wanted it to be. While she didn't end up being our day of coordinator, she still helped us through out the entire planning process and remained in contact.

Heidi Mentz, our day of coordinator. We had been in contact with her as much as the rest of the planning team at Ken Caryl, and when we finally met her in person and sat down together to discuss the final details we were blown away. She was amazing at everything she did, putting every worry we had to rest and helping the bride, Erika, as the bride explained her back up plans for the day of. Without judgement, Heidi understood our need to not have anyone ruin the day we had been looking forward to for so long. During the final meeting Heidi helped the bride with the itinerary and adjusted what they had been discussed previously to meet the new needs of the photographer and family requests at the last minute. She did so with grace, humor and excitement that we fed off of. Heidi kept a level head and energy that was so relaxed. Anytime something came up, it was immediately handled without hesitation and constant reassurance that it wasn't a problem for her to handle, or that it wouldn't take anything to clear it up and right whatever the issue was. The bride was so pleased about the expert care Heidi took in keeping everything going smoothly without making Erika feel rushed or pressured about anything. Heidi was a coordinating ninja as she ran around with a smile on her face, taking care of the Bride and Groom. The bride has no words for just how amazing Heidi was to her, and we can't thank her enough for everything she did for us.

Shayna, our banquet captain, was Heidi's second in command during our wedding. She was ready for anything that was asked of her, always keeping an eye on the time and on the bride and groom. They did a wonderful job executing everything and being a calm presence around us on our day.

Our photobooth attendant, K.C was wonderful and expressed her joy at the Star Wars theme of our wedding. Everyone who spoke to her said she was funny and professional while she helped them navigate the photobooth and get them their pictures.

Our servers, Cane and Sydney, the bride and groom didn't get much time with them because of the rush of a wedding, but there were nothing but good things mentioned about them from our guests and how smoothly they worked during the wedding. Thank you both so much!

Our bartender Nicholas, you served those drinks with a smile and had our guests laughing with you as you spoke. The first time the Bride came to the bar, he was phenomenal with his service and warm smile. The drinks were heaven, and we only wish we could've enjoyed more from him!

Our chefs, Chris and Brett, I don't think we actually got a chance to meet either of you, but that food. Oh.My.Goodness. The bride would've happily died living off of nothing but the macaroni and cheese croquettes, as well as the entire stunning breakfast buffet they served. We would recommend that choice of food and those chefs specifically for anyone doing an event with Ken Caryl Vista!

Kade Gooderham, don't think we forgot about you! We met with Kade during a details meeting, as well as being in contact with them during the whole process with the rest of the Ken Caryl Team. They did a wonderful job of keeping us on track, reminding us of things they recommended be completed by a certain time for everything to run smoothly. They addressed our concerns at the budget, and worked with us to figure out what we needed and what we didn't. We are positive that Kade could handle anything thrown their way without batting an eye! Thank you SO SO MUCH KADE!

Working with Kade, Heidi, and all of the other staff at Wedgewood was an incredible experience! My husband and I felt that our day was perfect and because of their guidance and transparency, we were able to feel confident and comfortable heading into our wedding day. They were extremely flexible with what we hoped for in our reception and were patient in walking through every step with us. Also, we (and all of our guests) LOVED the food :) We can not recommend them enough and are so grateful they were a part of such an important day in our lives!

From the moment I woke up, I was super excited. We headed to Ken Caryl Vista at about 3pm and I relaxed as I could hear all my friends and family start to arrive and mingle. John and I shared our first look in the park by the foothills, it felt really private and the pictures make us look like we're complete alone and it's incredibly pretty. Love and Lens got the lighting just right. Then our vows - I swear I thought I'd start giggling with nerves and never stop but my coordinator told me to take a deep breath and it was all okay. We did outside portraits and then dinner inside - it was all so beautifully arranged. Really, incredibly, amazingly beautiful. It was a bit of a whirlwind but we said I do, we partied, and all my memories are fantastic. Thank you, Ken Caryl Vista!

My husband and I couldn't have dreamed up a more perfect wedding venue than Ken Caryl Vista by Wedgewood Weddings. The moment we saw the breathtaking views of Ken Caryl Valley and the surrounding Colorado hills from this enchanting space, we knew it was meant to be ours for our special day.

The ceremony and reception sites completely wowed us with their beauty and charm. We adored the cozy fireplaces, elegant draping, stunning chandelier lighting and the neutral palette that allowed us to customize the decor to our style. Our families raved about the delicious catering and full bar during the reception.

One of my favorite moments was exchanging our vows outdoors, with just the leafy trees and rolling slopes behind us. It felt so intimate and serene. This venue also provided absolutely gorgeous backdrops for our wedding photos - we'll treasure those pictures forever!
