Working with Michelle was a fantastic experience. Wild Floral Designs was recommended by our photographer and checked so many boxes for me initially... locally sourced and seasonal flowers, environmentally friendly (no green foam), and someone who's work I admired (yes I poured over WILD's IG) but also didn't want a designer who followed a cookie-cutter approach in their creativity. I found ALL of these things in Michelle, and much more. Once we met, I knew we were a good match as she described her admirable design process. She thought of every detail and was great at capturing not only the things I wanted for the day, but also thinking of things I forgot. The biggest selling point to me, initially, was that I wanted a designer who could push the boundaries of the floral arch as I considered it the certerpiece for our outdoor, roof top wedding. Her body of work spoke volumes and I loved the variety. For our wedding she took many of the elements I considered the "best of" but personalized every detail from the color scheme to the sculpture designantions with every table having a complimentary but different arrangement. On the day of our wedding, her team moved through the space like floral ninjas which was also true of the disassembly. My own bouquet was EXACTLY what I wanted and much more. The bridesmaid's bouquets were perfectly proportioned and brought vibrance without being overpowering and now, seeing our wedding photos, my superstar Junior bridesmaids bouquets were perfect for my neices and their dress styles.
I could continue to go one and on, and as I told her, I'm happy to be a reference for her outstanding design vision.

Michelle and the whole team at Wild Florals created the most beautiful wedding day for us!! Finding the right fit in a florist was one of the hardest decisions to make when wedding planning, and we are so happy that we found such an amazing team member in Michelle. We had a unique wedding day with both a Hindu and Jewish ceremony in the same day, as well as two meal services, and we wanted a cohesive vision across both ceremonies with intentional changes to signify shifts. Michelle was on board from the beginning in coming up with ideas for the between ceremony flip, working with us on the most efficient ways to use our floral budget, repurposing pieces throughout the day, and even handling some South Asian decor needs with a rental vendor.

As a bride I was really passionate and particular about the design of the wedding, and Michelle was an amazing partner in figuring out how to execute the vision my fiancé and I communicated to her, working with us on rental selection to make sure everything went together, and taking all of the design elements I had put together for the day into account. She was incredibly organized, accommodating, communicative, took any modifications into stride, and executed an extra long and complex wedding day. Seeing the wedding come to life with Michelle’s flowers was really above and beyond all of our wildest dreams. I absolutely loved working with Michelle. When contacting vendors and requesting price quotes, she was clear, prompt, reasonable, and understanding. She was able to articulate why certain decisions or choices were more or less expensive and she was very open to making changes and working within my budget. Throughout the entire process she was available, flexible, and kind. I had full confidence at every stage that she understood my vision and the elements that were most important to me, as well as the ones that we not. In then end, I felt her, and her team, when above and beyond. I truly loved the end result. Her team made a “flower cloud” installation over the dance floor that was not only stunning, but the dried flowers were painted using biodegradable milk paints! The paints she used are much better for the environment than traditional spray paints because they aren’t made of chemicals. She didn’t even market this effort to me, it is just part of her normal practice to try new methods of sustainability to lower her environmental footprint. This is extra amazing and makes me so happy to have worked with someone who not only does gorgeous floral work but also has like-minded viewpoints on sustainability. Couldn’t recommend more.

o put it simply, Michelle is perfect! She is incredibly thoughtful, organized, professional, and, of course, very creative and talented with florals! Before we even engaged Michelle, she scheduled a hour-long meeting to understand our vision and drew up a detailed proposal & budget. After engaging her, she was a clear communicator, as well as a thoughtful and empathetic listener. She patiently scheduled multiple meetings to fully understand our vision for the florals, as well as check-ins in the month leading up to our wedding to let us know everything was on track. And on the day of the wedding, she seamlessly executed the most beautiful floral story. Our guests were stunned by the florals! The final product reflected her ability to really understand her clients, while bringing her own beautiful creativity to the process. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Michelle is truly an incredible artist when it comes to flowers! I had so many requests and wishlists, and a very specific color scheme and aesthetic in mind. Michelle perfectly translated my vision into her proposal and delivered the most ethereal, magical, lush garden wedding of my dreams. Though we had to reschedule twice because of covid, we were so grateful for how understanding and flexible she was throughout the process. She was wonderful to work with and very responsive throughout the planning process, and made sure to keep all my requests in mind but also keep expectations realistic when it came to Mother Nature and the availability of certain materials. Working with Michelle and Wild was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Michelle is a flower genius -- I was constantly blown away with the depth of her knowledge and her ability to answer every single question I had on the spot. We hired Michelle with Wild Floral Designs for our wedding in June and she was amazing!! She is the absolute sweetest and was such a pleasure to work with from the beginning. We used Michelle at Wild Floral for our Brooklyn Wedding in March of 2022, and were completely blown away by what she delivered. She turned our hip Williamsburg venue into a verdant, secret garden that our guests could NOT stop raving about.

The personals were picture perfect and two more complicated hanging/suspended elements were handled with ease. Michelle was incredibly collaborative, and found a way to tactfully steer me toward choices that maximized both our budget and the impact of her flowers.

Getting married in New York, you meet some of the most incredibly talented and creative people. As part of this process we met Michelle who is quite simply a floral genius. My wife came to her with a pinterest board of colors and themes, and a vague dream of her perfect wedding. Michelle put together the most amazing and beautiful day. Every element was incredible and incredibly unique. The bouquet was radiant and stunning. The tables were meticulously designed and laid out, each different and special, and with delightful florishes of color. Michelle created hung starburst decorations that extended the color and artistry up into the heights of the venue. And finally we had a centerpiece that Michelle designed and executed spectacularly. At every point in the process she also checked in with us and consulted with our wedding planner and caterer to make sure everything fit together perfectly. We had no complaints, but if we did I am sure she would have been happy to help us out. 11 / 10 what a superstar.
