Working with Michelle was a fantastic experience. Wild Floral Designs was recommended by our photographer and checked so many boxes for me initially... locally sourced and seasonal flowers, environmentally friendly (no green foam), and someone who's work I admired (yes I poured over WILD's IG) but also didn't want a designer who followed a cookie-cutter approach in their creativity. I found ALL of these things in Michelle, and much more. Once we met, I knew we were a good match as she described her admirable design process. She thought of every detail and was great at capturing not only the things I wanted for the day, but also thinking of things I forgot. The biggest selling point to me, initially, was that I wanted a designer who could push the boundaries of the floral arch as I considered it the certerpiece for our outdoor, roof top wedding. Her body of work spoke volumes and I loved the variety. For our wedding she took many of the elements I considered the "best of" but personalized every detail from the color scheme to the sculpture designantions with every table having a complimentary but different arrangement. On the day of our wedding, her team moved through the space like floral ninjas which was also true of the disassembly. My own bouquet was EXACTLY what I wanted and much more. The bridesmaid's bouquets were perfectly proportioned and brought vibrance without being overpowering and now, seeing our wedding photos, my superstar Junior bridesmaids bouquets were perfect for my neices and their dress styles.
I could continue to go one and on, and as I told her, I'm happy to be a reference for her outstanding design vision.

Michelle and the whole team at Wild Florals created the most beautiful wedding day for us!! Finding the right fit in a florist was one of the hardest decisions to make when wedding planning, and we are so happy that we found such an amazing team member in Michelle. We had a unique wedding day with both a Hindu and Jewish ceremony in the same day, as well as two meal services, and we wanted a cohesive vision across both ceremonies with intentional changes to signify shifts. Michelle was on board from the beginning in coming up with ideas for the between ceremony flip, working with us on the most efficient ways to use our floral budget, repurposing pieces throughout the day, and even handling some South Asian decor needs with a rental vendor.
As a bride I was really passionate and particular about the design of the wedding, and Michelle was an amazing partner in figuring out how to execute the vision my fiancé and I communicated to her, working with us on rental selection to make sure everything went together, and taking all of the design elements I had put together for the day into account. She was incredibly organized, accommodating, communicative, took any modifications into stride, and executed an extra long and complex wedding day. Seeing the wedding come to life with Michelle’s flowers was really above and beyond all of our wildest dreams. Book Michelle for your wedding — she is such a lovely human, talented florist and amazing team member in making your day come to life! -

Amazing! Highly recommend!
I absolutely loved working with Michelle. When contacting vendors and requesting price quotes, she was clear, prompt, reasonable, and understanding. She was able to articulate why certain decisions or choices were more or less expensive and she was very open to making changes and working within my budget. Throughout the entire process she was available, flexible, and kind. I had full confidence at every stage that she understood my vision and the elements that were most important to me, as well as the ones that we not. In then end, I felt her, and her team, when above and beyond. I truly loved the end result. Her team made a “flower cloud” installation over the dance floor that was not only stunning, but the dried flowers were painted using biodegradable milk paints! The paints she used are much better for the environment than traditional spray paints because they aren’t made of chemicals. She didn’t even market this effort to me, it is just part of her normal practice to try new methods of sustainability to lower her environmental footprint. This is extra amazing and makes me so happy to have worked with someone who not only does gorgeous floral work but also has like-minded viewpoints on sustainability. Couldn’t recommend more. -

Just perfect!
o put it simply, Michelle is perfect! She is incredibly thoughtful, organized, professional, and, of course, very creative and talented with florals! Before we even engaged Michelle, she scheduled a hour-long meeting to understand our vision and drew up a detailed proposal & budget. After engaging her, she was a clear communicator, as well as a thoughtful and empathetic listener. She patiently scheduled multiple meetings to fully understand our vision for the florals, as well as check-ins in the month leading up to our wedding to let us know everything was on track. And on the day of the wedding, she seamlessly executed the most beautiful floral story. Our guests were stunned by the florals! The final product reflected her ability to really understand her clients, while bringing her own beautiful creativity to the process. We cannot recommend her highly enough! -

An incredible artist with flowers!
Michelle is truly an incredible artist when it comes to flowers! I had so many requests and wishlists, and a very specific color scheme and aesthetic in mind. Michelle perfectly translated my vision into her proposal and delivered the most ethereal, magical, lush garden wedding of my dreams. Though we had to reschedule twice because of covid, we were so grateful for how understanding and flexible she was throughout the process. She was wonderful to work with and very responsive throughout the planning process, and made sure to keep all my requests in mind but also keep expectations realistic when it came to Mother Nature and the availability of certain materials. Thank you for helping us create the most memorable and special day! -

Could not have chosen a better florist!
Wild/Michelle was incredible to work with. Deeply knowledgeable, professional, kind and supportive. Wild provided flowers that were gorgeous and memorable- from bouquets to ceremony to reception centerpieces to cake- all of our guests raved about them. Michelle and her team were all lovely. Can't recommend her enough. -

We used Michelle at Wild Floral for our Brooklyn Wedding in March of 2022, and were completely blown away by what she delivered. She turned our hip Williamsburg venue into a verdant, secret garden that our guests could NOT stop raving about.
The personals were picture perfect and two more complicated hanging/suspended elements were handled with ease. Michelle was incredibly collaborative, and found a way to tactfully steer me toward choices that maximized both our budget and the impact of her flowers.
Can't recommend her highly enough. Book if you can! -

A blissful experience with a true flower artist!
Michelle is beyond incredible at what she does. From the very beginning, she listened to us closely when we explained our vision and helped to develop it into something amazing and personal. Our florals were a huge part of our wedding because our space was quite industrial, and Michelle did an amazing job softening the room and creating a warm, romantic vibe. She also built the most amazing floral standing wreath as the backdrop of our ceremony, and she pulled off a ceiling install on a set of skylights that was truly gorgeous! We cannot recommend her enough. -

Extraordinary
"Delicate, gestural blooms extending away from the bouquet and a soft cascade in the foliage. An effortless, unfussy feeling, like the flowers have been gathered moments before and tied with a ribbon."
This is a quote from the proposal Michelle drafted for our wedding floral design after our first conversation. And as you can see from the photographs below, Michelle first put into words -- and then brought to life -- the floral design we'd envisioned for our wedding day. I was speechless when I saw my bouquet, the ceremony arch, the greenery suspended over our reception space, and the rest of her work. It was all stunningly beautiful.
Michelle pays close attention to the smallest detail, like the curvature of a single bloom in a bud vase. She is also honest about what floral design will and will not work at a particular venue. She is an outrageously talented artist, and a kind and lovely person to boot. I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Michelle and Wild Floral Design! -

We were married during Covid and had to adjust our original plans in every way possible. Nothing about the experience was easy, but Michelle remained compassionate, smart and creative as we worked through it together. We were in the best hands... And our wedding was proof of that! -

I received so many compliments about how absolutely perfect the flowers were at my wedding. I was so impressed with Wild Floral Design's ability to bring to life my disorganized/frantic floral ideas. I have no clue how they were able to understand me and create what they did. I STILL get compliments on how gorgeous the flowers were... and I really think they were the best flowers I have ever seen at any wedding. Easy and enjoyable!
Michelle was such a joy to work with!! She was always very responsive and patient with me when I was trying to nail down exactly what I wanted - even when I decided to completely change one element 2 weeks before my wedding day! She listened to my notes, provided a very helpful mood board that helped me visualize and ensure that we were on the same page. Very very happy with the end result which was not only beautiful but completely went with the vibe of the venue and fally-feel that I was going for! Tip: definitely have Michelle make the boutonnieres for the groomsmen - they ended up being one of my favorite details! -

Michelle Sent on 10/30/2019A Game-Changing Talent
Words cannot even begin to describe the impact Michelle, her team & her unparalleled talent had on our wedding day. Florals were definitely a key part of my wedding vision, and deciding on a florist was probably the most intensive part of my wedding vendor search. I had a gut instinct after seeing Michelle's amazing work on Instagram, but our first call and her proposal cinched the deal. She was somehow able to articulate the vision I had in my head, and her descriptors were my guiding light for the rest of my wedding planning.
I trusted Michelle & her vision implicitly, but even so, I wasn't prepared for the final product. I cried when I saw my bouquet and I audibly gasped when I saw how she transformed our ceremony space - it was beyond anything I imagined, and she somehow turned an indoor industrial/loft space in Brooklyn into a magical indoor garden. She added the most unique touches elsewhere, and blew my inspiration photos out of the water.
But even beyond the final product (which to me was always the most important), Michelle was just an amazing vendor to work with. She was always calm, always working behind the scenes to ensure I was never looped into something unless I had to be, always reassuring even when we thought we might have some logistical issues, and always willing to hear my latest spur-of-the-moment thought or addition (even up until the week before the wedding). Our wedding was so magical in the end, and so much of that vibe is owed to her incredible work. If I could go back in time, I would choose Wild Floral Designs again and again. -

We can't thank Michelle enough for all her hard work! She is truly amazing, professional, and down to earth to work with!
From our first consultation call, Michelle answered all of our questions and really helped guide us to narrow down and compliment our overall vision. All her proposals and vision boards were so clear and easy to follow and gave us a great idea of how the final product would come to life!
In addition, we felt so comfortable and at ease as Michelle handled coordination with the venue and any of our last minute questions. The florals, from bouquets to the venue, were absolute perfection (and everyone commented on how amazing the roses even smelled which is not something you usually get to hear!)
We truly recommend Michelle and her amazing work to future brides! -

A dream!
There are no words to describe how lucky/happy we are that we chose Michelle/Wild Floral to be our wedding florist. I am still completely blown away (along with so many of my guests) by the florals. I still have guests telling me they've never even seen florals like that at a wedding ... EVER!
I was very very very involved in the floral planning process, and Michelle was kind and patient every step of the way. She jumped on the phone with me multiple times to go over any changes/thoughts I had, and even met with me and my husband in person once to go over the floral plan. She has worked at our venue before so she was very open about the limitations of the venue, and it made the process very seamless. Michelle is incredibly talented and creative, and she brought our entire vision to life.
The arch, the bouquets, the table arrangements and all of the floral installations around the venue were just so stunning. She perfectly captured the color palette I was looking for, and it matched our wedding vibe and personality in every way.
I had hoped to get peonies but it was July so it was going to be very unlikely to get them, and Michelle surprised me with them that morning!!! I cried when I saw how beautiful my bouquet was, and with peonies!!! There were also peonies in the arch, which was absolutely stunning. When I walked in the venue I literally screamed at how beautiful it was.
And on top of everything else it was 110 degrees on our wedding day (NYC heat wave) and Michelle and her associates kept the flowers looking PERFECT. We still don't know how they did this. She worked tirelessly all day in the insane heat, and we are still so appreciative of the finished product.
Floral was one of the most important aspects of our wedding, if not the most, and we were BLOWN away by Michelle's talent, creativity, and most of all kindness. Thank you for everything, you made our dreams come true! -

Michelle absolutely blew me away with our wedding flowers! Since we had our wedding in a loft space it was imperative that our florist get our aesthetic right. Having to plan a wedding from half way across the world was difficult and in general I was anxious to have my vision realized to the detail. I was specific about my dislikes and likes and Michelle was happy to help me narrow it down.
She is absolutely realistic about which flowers are in season and willing to work around cost constraints by being flexible. Might I also say, of the five our florists I spoke with Michelle was the most reasonable cost-wise especially for a New York City wedding? She is also the only florist that offered a rental option for vases and candles.
Last but not least, I had an abstract vision of what I wanted - effortlessly elegant but playful, colorful but not childish. She got what we were going for and with our palette transformed our venue into a warm, glowing, and happy space. Based on my experience and from her portfolio I can clearly see that Wild Floral Designs adds something special and unique to every wedding. Absolutely not cookie cutter and full of imagination. I owe it to Michelle for translating the vibe we had imagined for our wedding into real life!
Thank you Michelle for your amazing job, we will be enjoying the florals for years to come through our pictures! If we ever need to plan for another large event we will not hesitate to choose you over again!

Amazing!!!
I worked with Michelle for 2 events last year-a small family wedding and then for a larger party in the fall. Michelle was absolutely incredible to work with, extremely professional with a wonderful eye for detail and gorgeous aesthetics. For the two events, Michelle created looks that were distinctly different and yet reflected exactly what I wanted. Would definitely recommend her in a heartbeat, thank you for everything Michelle!! -

Florals beyond my wildest dreams
I knew almost immediately when I spoke to Michelle over the phone that I wanted to work with her. She's incredibly down to earth, and was so thoroughly honest about what was doable/not with the floral budget I had set out with. I was little unsure of certain elements or colors -- and also had some domineering family members trying to insert themselves into the process -- and Michelle, to her credit, made sure I felt comfortable, protected my ideas, and helped me make decisions like a pro. Beyond being extremely responsive and kind, Michelle is just so incredibly talented at what she does it's hard for me to even write something that would do her work justice. We had so many people comment during and after the wedding about how gorgeous the flowers were (we even had people try to take the arrangements off the table at the wedding!!!!). If you're looking for "organic" florals that are unique AND beautiful, don't hesitate a moment to work with Michelle. She's amazing. -

Megan Sent on 03/04/2018After interviewing several florists who I felt missed the mark, my mother and I discovered Wild Floral Designs via their Intagram page. I loved the natural, romantic styles they featured and was eager to set up a call with Michelle to discuss the vision that I had for my winter wedding at Brooklyn Winery. From the get go, I could tell Michelle understood the direction we wanted to go in and I felt confident that she was the right fit for my style. We had a LOT of specific parameters for my florals (unusual color palate, specific vintage containers to hold the flowers, and a complex system of grouping the containers, all on top of a winter wedding date when few flower varieties are available), but Michelle was happy to accommodate every request we had, and did so beautifully. The final product was better than anything I could have imagined and we got so many compliments on our floral arrangements. I'm so grateful we found a florist who is so talented, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

At the beginning of the planning process, I had only very vague ideas about how I wanted things to look, and she patiently worked with me over the course of several conversations to nail down an aesthetic that fit my ideas and our budget. When I saw the flowers the day of our wedding, I was honestly stunned by how beautiful everything looked. We initially found her via Pinterest and Instagram, but her work is even more beautiful in person than it is in photos. She was extremely responsive, and accommodating of the (many) changes I made to the floral plan, and worked with us within the budget we gave her. Her work was a great value, based on the other florists we spoke to in the area, but I would have happily paid more for her services. The flowers were the single thing we received the most compliments on at our wedding, I can't recommend highly enough.

Michelle is a dream to work with - she's kind, thoughtful and extremely patient. We are lucky to have found her and been able to work with her as we trasitioned from our original pre-COVD wedding plans in NYC to our new 2020 reality of a 15-guest wedding near our home in Connecticut. Everything about the day was beautiful, and Michelle and her team were wonderful. Our venue, which is a small Inn/ B&B, also noted that Michelle was one of the most organized and communicative vendors that they had ever worked with. Highly recommend Michelle for all of your big events! -

Michelle designed the flowers for my wedding and they were perfect! Michelle listened to everything I wanted and worked within my vision. She is great to work with - very responsive and patient. She is totally transparent throughout the process which is helpful. She is highly professional and really knows what she's doing. Additionally, Michelle is a total artist. You can put your trust in her to create beautiful florals. The arrangements and bouquets for my wedding were perfect and GORGEOUS. I highly recommend Wild Floral Designs!
