The Vrooman Mansion is located in Bloomington, Illinois in the heart of Central Illinois. We can accommodate up to 75 guests either indoor or outdoor depending on your preference or the weather.

You and your guests will be enchanted by the historic details of our wedding venue built in 1869, as well as the modern amenities you've come to expect. Consider reserving rooms and suites for overnight accommodations before the event to relax onsite with confidence, and or after the event to wind down. Our suites also provide ideal changing areas for the wedding party and capturing wedding party moments with your photographer. Elegant photo opportunities are available indoors and outside throughout the grounds. Rain or shine, the Vrooman Mansion, with its terra cotta exterior, and elegant restored interior make a lovely backdrop for wedding photographs.

Our Carriage House, restored and renovated with spa-quality amenities, is a luxurious choice for a honeymoon cottage that keeps you on property, yet privately tucked away when you want to be.

Our grand staircase is just one of your choices for making an entrance; every bride has many options for customizing her ceremony and reception from start to finish. We can coordinate with your wedding planner; however, many of our guests choose to work with us directly. You’re making decisions from catering to seating and more — we’ll make it easier. We do all of the set-up and clean-up and provide tables, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware and more.
