The Lehmann Mansion and their staff were WONDERFUL!! As a bride who had thousands of questions, Jay was quick to respond to all of them. He was also very accommodating to the needs our wedding had.

We just had our wedding 9/30/2023, and Lehmann Mansion did not disappoint! The venue is absolutely beautiful, the staff are professional and know exactly how to run a wedding, the food is great, and for a great price too! It was extremely nice to have a venue that takes care of all the rentals, sets up and tears down, and has preferred vendors. We used their preferred vendors for florist (Larkspur&Leo), DJ (Grand DJ Entertainment), and desserts (Lovin Oven). Everything went pretty flawlessly on our wedding day. Jay was always on top of everything and was quick to respond to all of my emails for planning. He is also flexible with different arrangements- we did an open bar for cocktail hour and then had a his/hers cocktail that we prepaid for a certain number of bottles in addition to the house package (beer and wine). He even worked to order in mezcal for my cocktail! Our guests had a great time and were definitely impressed with the venue.

We were able to hang out in the bridal suites before starting pictures, had the ceremony outside, cocktail hour on the terrace, and reception in the tent. A lot of people had fun exploring the grounds.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Lehmann! Not only is the mansion STUNNING inside and out, but Jay and his team were incredible to work with! They were incredibly resourceful, had great communication throughout the engagement process leading up the day-of and after, detail-oriented, and were so accommodating! Food and drinks were fabulous as well! We got so many compliments from our guests. If you are looking for a mansion/garden vibe for your wedding, look no further than the Lehmann Mansion! Thank you Lehmann for making our day so perfect and one we will never forget!

Our second Wedding held at this beautiful venue. The setting, staff, and caterer are amazing!!! If you want your guests to drive up and be in awe of the beauty of a venue, pick this mansion!
I am hoping that someone I know has a wedding there so I can be a guest there instead of the Mother of the Bride and relax!!!

We had both our ceremony and reception at the Lehmann Mansion. I don't think we could've picked a better venue! Doreen was excellent to work with - very responsive and knowledgeable. This venue is very great for the money! Bauer's Catering did a wonderful job with the food as well. We received a lot of compliments on how unique and cool our wedding venue was! An awesome venue for great pictures too!

The Lehmann Mansion is a great venue and our wedding there was amazing! The venue itself is so beautiful as is so it requires very little additional decoration (which helps save a little money!). They have several different options for ceremony locations both outdoors and indoors. We had planned on having an outdoor ceremony but had to move it indoor due to weather and I'm so happy we did. We had the ceremony in the living room of the mansion and it ended up being SO BEAUTIFUL! I would highly recommend it, even if the weather is nice. Doreen (the coordinator) was also a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating to all of our unique/custom needs. The tent for the reception was great. It looked amazing (we chose to have the strings lights in the ceiling for our wedding which I recommend) and was not too hot for a wedding on 09/01 which I was a little worried about. And the photos we got in and around the mansion were amazing! I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding.

We held our 200-person wedding at Lehmann Mansion in July, 2015. During the planning phase, Doreen was most helpful and always responded quickly, which helped us because we live out East away from our families in the Midwest.

Besides the obvious beauty and elegance of the property, as well as the size, there were a number of reasons why Lehmann worked so well for us:

- Flexibility: my fiancee and I wanted to extend the wedding until the wee hours of the morning, so we could have karaoke after dancing ended. Not only did the staff accommodate this request, but they were incredibly gracious - in fact, they joined us as the late crowd all sang "Piano Man" together as our last karaoke song at 2:30am!
- Value: although we also looked at options closer to/in Chicago, we certainly got more for our money at Lehmann. Our guests were very complimentary of Eddie's dinner, both the flavor/quality and portion size.
- Facilities: we really enjoyed having the whole property to ourselves, including the variety of having cocktails throughout the mansion and outside. The tent itself is very classy, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly.

Couples planning a wedding here should consider the following:
- Location: the tradeoff for renting a lovely, exclusive estate is that you'll most likely need to provide buses. We highly recommend Olson Transportation. We also found the hotel options in the area to be challenging; there's a hotel nearby in Antioch but its pricing seemed high. We wound up booking blocks at a few hotels near I-94 in Gurnee.
- Rain plan: the one thing we weren't thrilled with about this venue was the rain plan. Go figure, we were "lucky" enough to have steady rain just before the ceremony. I commend Doreen and the staff (plus our other vendors), because they seamlessly pulled off Plan B in the tent. We were so happy that day that it didn't bother us; luckily it stopped before cocktails. However, be prepared - it could happen to you.

Beautiful location!! Great staff!

I booked my wedding here for Sept. 2015 after visiting the property. We didn't have any appointment and the Bauer's (the exclusive caterers at the property) came and gave us a private tour, going above and beyond on a Sunday morning to provide us great service. The property itself is amazing beautiful. The mansion is well kept. The landscaping is beautiful. The 4 seasons tent is the perfect location for an elegant wedding of any size. 150 people is the minimum for Saturday nights, however it is lower on Friday's and Sunday's. Doreen is so sweet and efficient. I cannot wait to go back with my Fiance and show him our amazing venue this month.
