A Truly Unique Experience
The outdoor venue was a true oasis of natural beauty, surrounded by lush greenery, majestic trees, and colorful blooming flowers. The picturesque landscape provided a stunning backdrop creating an ambiance that was both romantic and serene.
The venue's staff was exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawlessly executed. They were responsive, attentive, and accommodating, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. Their expertise and experience were evident, and their dedication to making our day unforgettable were truly appreciated.
One of the standout features of this venue was the versatility it offered. With various scenic spots, we had the freedom to customize our reception to match our vision. Whether we wanted an intimate cocktail gathering first followed by an outdoor celebration under the pavilion, or a backup indoor plan in case of heavy rain, the venue catered perfectly to every need. Regardless of seasons this venue offers a wonderful experience to share with your loves ones.
Not only was the venue aesthetically pleasing, but it also provided excellent practicality. The layout ensured smooth transitions from one part of the event to another, making it easy for guests to navigate and enjoy all aspects of our celebration.
Overall, our experience at The Grove Redfield Estate exceeded our expectations in every way. It was the perfect canvas for our dream wedding, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone seeking an enchanting outdoor space to make their special day truly extraordinary.
The most incredible venue
Deb quickly became a friend— she’s professional, provides planning guidance, and ensures your day goes perfectly.
There is a hotel right across the street (the renaissance hotel Glenview ) that is so nice! It’s perfect for out of town guests. They even provide free shuttle service to the grove if you have a certain number of guests book there! They also handed out welcome bags that I created for my guests. I also held a welcome reception the day before my wedding.
The Grove is absolutely beautiful. I love that the pavilion is covered and is a sturdy structure. I also love that we had access to the house. We had a plan b in case it rained, and I felt confident that my vendors could pivot if weather became an issue.
Luckily the weather was perfect! It got chilly at night, but we ended up using the venue fireplace and heaters. It was so beautiful — the fireplace added another unique element to the reception.
We chose vendors that were recommended by the grove and they were all incredible. The food was amazing and the catering team was A++++.
I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue.
The natural beauty of the grove gave us so many options for photos. We didn’t need much decor because of how gorgeous the venue is. I couldn’t recommend a better place to get married—
It’s so convenient and is perfect for an intimate fairytale wedding.
I rented the grove for the entire day, which was a little more pricey but totally worth it for the getting ready photos.

One of the most magical places a couple can host their wedding reception (and ceremony)! We simply love the Grove and all it has to offer. From their sprawling acres with winding creeks, a stone gazebo perfect for photos, benches scattered for guests to simply sit and take in all the scenery, to a gorgeous pavilion with a roaring fireplace. We love everything that the Grove has to offer. If you are hosting a more intimate affair, we definitely suggest you take a walk around the grounds and let your imagination run wild with all the possibilities for your special event. Carol is a delight to work with and their caterer options are top in the industry! We look forward to working with you again soon Carol!
The staff at the Redfield estate is very friendly and dedicated and contributes to make a wedding at the Grove a very enjoyable experience. From the main coordinator to the bartender, every person at the Refield estate was very welcoming. The location is the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding but provides nice alternatives when the weather is not on your side. I liked the opportunity to walk in the gardens and to explore the woods while photographing my clients, all within a couple minutes from the main buildings. The atmosphere is very relaxed and exotic and put this little gem of a venue in a category of its own.
The Redfield Estate at the Grove is an extraordinary setting for a wedding, especially a summer affair. There's plenty of space for an elegant, intimate outdoor ceremony on the lawn, and the option of dining and dancing inside the mansion itself or in the outdoor pavilion. The Chicago wedding DJ professionals of Fourth Estate Audio are frequent performers at the Redfield Estate, and we appreciate the attentiveness of the staff to client, guest and vendor alike. Every event is truly memorable. Here's a gallery of one of ours: https://www.pinterest.com/chicagodjlights/stacy-pj-jayawardene-real-chicago-wedding/.
