Schram Memorial Chapel is a historic, non-denominational wedding venue in Glenview, Illinois. This classic, charming space is great for weddings, bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners and more. This venue is walking distance from Gallery Park and Glen Town Shopping Center. With stunning hardwood floors and brightly colored stained glass windows, this venue is a wonderful option for any event imaginable.
Facilities and Capacity
Schram Memorial Chapel’s main floor has pew-style seating and can hold up to 150 people. The lower level space with a kitchenette can accommodate up to 90 people banquet style.

History
Schram Memorial Chapel was built at the Glenview Naval Air Station in 1941. In 1970 it was officially named in honor of the Navy stunt flyer Captain Richard A. Schram, who died during an air show in 1969. The chapel was moved and restored in 1999, and is now used as an event venue.

Beautiful, charming chapel. Feels like an old-time church -- stained glass, steeple -- but is now run by the Glenview Park District. So anyone can get married there. Has its own sound system. It has THE most dramatic groom's entrance possible. The back wall is part of a turntable. So, 2 strong people turn it -- the groom appears! The staff -- from Aaron on down -- are professional and courteous. I've done a ton of weddings there. Highly recommend.
This is a beautiful setting. It can be for a large group or for an intimate small family setting. The staff is courteous, prepared, and hands-on. They have an in-house sound system for your officiant and a set-up for an iPod to play through. Beautiful stained class windows, lovely summer flowers, and a clean and safe facility.
The Schram Chapel is a beautiful option for a ceremony site. Combining a ceremony there with a reception at the Grove is a great option.
