Mesón Sabika is an elegant mansion wedding venue located in Naperville, IL. This Georgian-style estate is nestled near the city's downtown region, perfect for any out-of-town guests who want to extend their stay in the area. Dating back to 1847, it'll add a touch of historic charm to any celebration. The venue covers four scenic acres and is finished with charming Spanish decor.
Mesón Sabika offers a variety of event spaces where you can host your big day. Ceremonies can be held in the picturesque garden, which offers views of the memorable mansion. Next to the elegant house, you'll find the Pavilion. This 5,000-square-foot event space was designed with wedding receptions in mind and features sophisticated details like a draped ceiling and vintage chandeliers. Its windows overlook the grounds, letting you embrace the beauty of the estate from the comfort of indoors. The Pavilion can comfortably accommodate up to 270 guests for a seated meal. The mansion is home to eight separate dining rooms, with distinctive murals and timeless decor creating a one-of-a-kind look. The dining spaces on the second floor can seat up to 120 guests for a delightful meal.
In addition to ceremonies and receptions, Mesón Sabika is also open to hosting engagement parties, couples' showers, and rehearsal dinners. The team at the venue is on hand to provide various supports, so you can bring your dream day to life with as little stress as possible. This includes being able to take care of bartending, catering, and desserts, with a focus on traditional Spanish fare. Professional service staff will remain on hand to help the meal run smoothly and ensure the drinks keep flowing.

The Best Choice We Made
1) Good food - Eating good food is a big part of our relationship and it was important to us that guests walked away from our wedding having had a great meal. Meson absolutely checks this box - we’ve had multiple people reach out to use to say it’s the best food they’ve had at a wedding.
2) Communication & Coordination - We wanted a venue we could trust to guide us through the wedding process and day of, because event planning is not our forte and of course all of this was new to us! We did not have a day of coordinator, but little did we know, Meson Sebika was going to make sure we were covered.
We want to spend the rest of this review giving the largest shoutout in the world to Jessica, who supported us on everything to our first tour to the day of. Jessica was there on the day of our wedding to support every detail - making sure the bridal suite had everything we needed, ensuring we stayed on schedule, standing behind me and fluffing my dress before walking down the aisle, and even making sure to bring me (bride) a plate of hors d'oeuvres when I made a comment I was sad I didn’t get to eat them during cocktail hour. When you book at Meson - you get so much more than just a venue and a meal. You get a guarantee that everything will be done to ensure your special day goes smoothly.

Meson Sabika is one of my all-time favorite places to work as a DJ! Julie and Katie are absolutely phenomenal to work with and will return your email or call in a timely manner - not to mention the fact that they are both so down to earth and will make sure that your wedding day is as perfect as possible. The entire Meson Sabika team are a true joy to work with. From Julie and Katie, to the bartenders and servers, everyone is extremely polite, courteous and will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Also, if you're looking for a different dinner experience for you and your guests, Meson Sabika executes this perfectly! With their mouth-watering fresh, Spanish tapas served throughout the course of dinner, your guests will be wanting more and more (the garlic mashed potatoes and bacon-wrapped dates are to die for!). At the end of the day, if you're looking for a venue that will handle all of your wants and needs, while going above and beyond your expectations, Meson Sabika is your reception home!
