Mesón Sabika was wonderful for our wedding reception! The food is top notch and the sangrias are excellent! However, what also sets Mesón Sabika apart is the service and dedication of the event planning team. Working with them took away a lot of stress because they are there every step of the way. They are courteous, dedicated, and truly share your excitement for your wedding!

You never made us feel like we were "asking for too much" or being "needy." Mesón Sabika hosted our December 2025 wedding reception. It was one of the best decisions we made. Throughout the planning process Mesón was responsive, professional and personable…it was such a stress free and enjoyable experience. We wanted Christmastime themed signature cocktails and Mesón worked with us on what custom cocktails they could do at no additional charge…it turned out just as we expected and was such a fun idea. The venue was absolutely breathtaking. The food was out of this world. We received so many compliments and months later still talk about the food. Everything went off without a hitch the day off. I am so thankful for the team at Mesón for helping make our special day extra memorable!

Jessica and her team made the whole wedding process seamless from start to finish. It’s a stunning venue with food you can’t beat and for a great value. What meant the most was how special they made us feel on our wedding night. Taking our drink order when the bar was closed, leaving champagne in the wedding suite and making sure we were always being taken care of. Looking forward to celebrating our anniversary here for years to come!

(August 2025 Wedding) Everything about having Meson Sabika be our venue for our wedding was 10/10 outstanding. When searching for venues, we had two things that were very important to us:

1) Good food - Eating good food is a big part of our relationship and it was important to us that guests walked away from our wedding having had a great meal. Meson absolutely checks this box - we’ve had multiple people reach out to use to say it’s the best food they’ve had at a wedding.


2) Communication & Coordination - We wanted a venue we could trust to guide us through the wedding process and day of, because event planning is not our forte and of course all of this was new to us! We did not have a day of coordinator, but little did we know, Meson Sebika was going to make sure we were covered.

We want to spend the rest of this review giving the largest shoutout in the world to Jessica, who supported us on everything to our first tour to the day of. Jessica was there on the day of our wedding to support every detail - making sure the bridal suite had everything we needed, ensuring we stayed on schedule, standing behind me and fluffing my dress before walking down the aisle, and even making sure to bring me (bride) a plate of hors d'oeuvres when I made a comment I was sad I didn’t get to eat them during cocktail hour. When you book at Meson - you get so much more than just a venue and a meal. You get a guarantee that everything will be done to ensure your special day goes smoothly.

Jessica was extremely helpful; you don't need to book another day-of coordinator. The food was incredible; we had so many people come up to us raving about it. The setting was perfect too.

Given what we paid, it was a great value!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Meson Sabika’s hospitality on our wedding day. From the event management team to the day-of staff, everything flowed seamlessly. They truly paid attention to every detail — thoughtful, accommodating, and excellent communicators throughout the entire process. The food and service were impeccable, and the venue itself is absolutely beautiful, inside and out.

We’re still receiving compliments from family and friends about how perfect everything was. Jessica, especially, was outstanding to work with. From planning to the rehearsal to guiding us through the day with the on-site bridal suite, she noticed every detail and offered great recommendations to ensure everything ran smoothly.

We had our wedding here just 2 weeks ago, September 19th and it was perfect! 100/10 would recommend. Not only is the venue beautiful but Jessica was helpful from start to finish.

We chose this venue because we wanted a garden feeling to the day and the open and natural sunlight definitely made it feel like it was outdoors while still having AC. I loved that our guest enjoyed the outdoor patio as well and got the best of both worlds.

We were initially a little unsure about the tapas-style menu since it was different from a traditional setup, but our guests absolutely loved it! We received so many compliments on the delicious food, refreshing drinks, and the beautiful venue.

On the day of the wedding, Jessica was extremely involved. There was nothing I had to worry about and was able to enjoy the day. She was incredible in helping us plan and coordinate every detail, making the whole experience seamless. We’re so grateful to Mesón Sabika for creating the perfect setting for our most magical day!

This was my dream venue! The event team was terrific and was always responsive to any questions I had. It truly felt like I had my own personal wedding planner. (Thanks, Jessica!!) The day of the event was so smooth. We had our wedding there as well, and the transition from the wedding to the cocktail hour and reception was seamless. Guests loved everything from the appetizers during the cocktail hour, tapas and plated dinner, dessert table, and late night snacks. No one went home hungry!! The pavilion room was gorgeous with all the holiday light outside on the pillars and bushes. It was a perfect day!

Meson Sabika is a top choice for a wedding venue. The food, the venue, the staff, the ambiance.... its unmatched and completely wonderful. Our guests had no complaints and everything was perfect for our day. Meson went above and beyond to provide and amazing experience and we would recommend anyone to have their wedding here. Briana was so accommodating and really helped us plan our day. Jessica helped us too with the rehearsal and day of the wedding. We truly appreciated all the Meson staff and felt like we were catered to with our requests.

My daughter and her husband had their wedding reception at Meson Sabika in Naperville, IL in August. The reception was fabulous and exceeded any expectations we had! The ballroom room looked absolutely gorgeous and the food was delicious. We went with the tapas menu and received so many compliments. The entire staff was top notch and so wonderful to work with. The wedding coordinator was amazing too…so accommodating and helpful. I would recommend Meson Sabika 1000%. If they have an open date, book it!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Meson Sabika! We had our wedding reception in the pavilion this past June and it was the most perfect day. From the very beginning when booking Meson Sabika, the communication with the event team was easy and efficient. Jessica, Brianna, and Emily were all wonderful to work with and helped make sure everything was ready for us the day of and the weeks leading up to our wedding day. Guests have shared that the venue and grounds were beautiful and the food was great!

We had our wedding on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, and were absolutely blown away from start to finish with Mesòn Sabika’s preparation and execution for all aspects of our wedding. Aside from the venue being stunning, the service was outstanding and their execution of all aspects, especially the food was unparalleled. We got compliments from several guests saying it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. Jessica was so helpful with planning and coordinating our event to make it a seamless experience. We’re forever grateful to Mesòn Sabika for making it our best day ever! We’re excited for our next dinner at Mesòn Sabika and hope to attend someone else’s wedding there in the future! 100/10 recommend Mesòn Sabika as a wedding venue!

Cannot say ENOUGH positive things about Meson Sabika! We had our wedding reception with them in early May 2024 and their events team were some of the most responsive, responsible, and nice people to work with. I want to especially shout-out Brianna on the team, she was always on top of everything and helped ease so many of my nerves (she always responded to my emails within 24 hrs, but usually it was more like within the hour). The team listened and created our vision perfectly. Plus THE FOOD! I have never been to a wedding where I heard so many people compliment the food, it was truly the star of the show. It has always been my dream to have a wedding with good (and non-traditional) food, and the tapas at Meson Sabika were absolutely delicious. They also took great care of our other delivered details (cake, flowers, guestbook, etc) so I didn't have to worry about any issues on our wedding day. The entire staff during the wedding were a pleasure to speak to and everyone was very professional. For brides who also don't care TOO much about the little details, Meson Sabika has their own table numbers, centerpieces, cake cutter, easel, etc that you are able to use which helped cut costs on those smaller things. I would highly recommend Meson Sabika for your next event, the Pavilion is so beautiful and it really was a perfect evening. My husband and I are already planning to go back to eat there just because we can't stop thinking about the food!

Jessica and her team were GREAT! We had our ceremony outside, our cocktail hour on the patio and the reception in the pavilion. Everything was AMAZING! The food, the dessert and the drinks! One of our guests got out of hand and the team dealt with it discretely and quickly. I was not aware anything happened until another guest told me and I was mortified. The Mesón Sabika team remained professional and did not blame me or my husband for our guests actions. I have nothing but good things to say about this venue and their team!

We got married at Meson Sabika in February 2024. Both our ceremony and reception were inside the pavilion, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. I was impressed by the events team - everyone was so nice, helpful, and responsive. Day-of service was great, and food was amazing. Multiple guests said it was the best wedding food that they've ever had. We are thrilled to have had our wedding at Meson Sabika and would highly recommend!

Having our wedding at Meson Sabika was a dream come true. The venue itself is stunning - both the garden where our ceremony took place and the reception pavilion were the perfect backdrops for our wedding day. Having grown up in Naperville, Meson Sabika was always in the back of my mind for a wedding venue and booking it was the best decision ever.

The food is of course incredible. But the hospitality and the attention to detail was what really made the day perfect. Jessica and her team made sure everything was taken care of and looked exactly how we wanted it to. My husband and I were checked in on throughout the night and everyone we interacted with was so kind. They made sure we had more than enough food and drinks - they even brought passed apps to us while we were taking family photos.

I would absolutely recommend Meson Sabika to anyone getting married. Their experience in event planning and customer service is extremely apparent and we really did have the best day ever.

Meson Sabika was the absolute best venue for our ceremony and reception! We got to work with Jessica, who helped us with the venue tour and the food tasting, as well as working with our coordinator for the logistics of our wedding day. Our coordinators were very pleased with the service they received from Meson Sabika and said they were accommodating and very easy to work with. The venue is incredible and our guests can't stop talking about how good the food was. The drinks were flowing with excellent bartending and wait staff, and overall, we and our guests had the best time. Numerous people told us "this is the best wedding I've ever been to," citing the venue location, food and drink quality, and overall atmosphere as the reason why they had such an awesome time. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day or venue.

Had our dream wedding at Meson Sabika this past weekend! The venue was beautiful with the open windows and the garden outside for the ceremony. It was a pleasure working with Jessica. She was really responsive and always responded in a timely manner. Amazing day of coordinator and the day went smoothly with her help. Everyone loved the food as well. Would totally recommend Meson Sabika to everyone who is researching about venues!

I can not rave enough about the experience my husband and I had on our special day! First of all the pavilion is absolutely stunning. The ambiance there is magical. The lead event coordinator, Jessica, was totally on top of everything. She kept me calm and collected on a very important day. For that I’m forever grateful!

My experience at Mesón sabika was nothing short of amazing. It was an absolute dream and we could not hav even more pleased with Jessica and her team. It would not have been possible without them! From the food to the ambiance, Jessica and her team created the most amazing day!!!

So many things. First off it’s beautiful. Second, food quality at scale can’t be matched (we were super picky with food).

Enough space for tables, live band, and other stations like our candy table, merch table, our unique guest table and our hall of fame/dates.

From an alcohol stand point. Man do they pour! They were not stingy with the booze. The hors d’oeuvres were amazing. Everyone had a favorite. Our favorite was the bacon dates.Then came the tapas, and then dinner. No one is going to leave hungry (one of the biggest faults in wedding planning)

The events department, especially Jessica, truly made our wedding a dream come true! Every little detail we wanted was included & the grounds were absolutely stunning!

The decision to have our wedding at Meson Sabika came down to two critical factors, food and atmosphere. After visiting the pavilion, we knew this was the exact feel and experience we’d want our guests to have in attending our special day. And the establishment’s reputation with food is nothing shy of outstanding. After our tour visit, the team generously set us up with a dinner reservation that evening to try various tapas dishes. This was a kind gesture on their behalf, and certainly left a mark on the type of character we’d want any guest to experience at our reception. After that dinner, it was very apparent Meson Sabika was our only choice.

This only covers a higher level overview of selecting the venue. The team at Meson Sabika, led by Jessica, deserves absolute praise. Without explaining their involvement, their work goes unseen and unread. They helped us every step of the way from when we first confirmed our date and time to the moment we left after the reception ended. Their communication, care, detailed focus, and approach shined as we inched closer and closer to the big day. Their brochure and contract leave everything flat out on the line, with no issues or misleading language. That comfort carried into a few additional visits we made when we ran into some tough decisions on selecting tapas for dinner. Each visit had the same quality experience, again, ensuring the decision we initially made was the absolute right one.

The big day was a walk in the park. Jessica and team checked on both of us to ensure we were okay or needed absolutely anything throughout the evening. The serving staff was prompt in refilling water, cleaning tables for the tapas, providing efficient bar service, and ensuring a flawless experience for everyone in attendance. It brings such warmth in our hearts to reflect on this process with Meson Sabika, and we give them the highest marks in all categories as a vendor, partner, event space, and most importantly customer experience – start to finish. Thank you again for everything.

Meson Sabika was an absolutely yes from the very start. We spoke with a handful of venues before deciding where we would have our wedding. Our biggest point was that we wanted to work with a team that was easy to work with, and we enjoyed spending time with planning. It was the best decision! Jessica and the team were beyond accommodating from start to finish. The day of was perfectly smooth sailing. There were no hiccups, and if there were, I had no idea! (An absolutely yes).
Another big point for our wedding day was that we wanted the food to stand out. If you have ever eaten at Meson Sabika before, you know you're going to have a fabulous feast. There are a few options for dinner, and we ended up doing the traditional with tapas (because how can you not?).
We were so lucky to be one of the first weddings to enjoy the new flooring! It looks SO GOOD you guys. We got to be so creative with the layout and colors because of it.
10/10 would recommend to friends to get married here. It was effortless. You deserve to be not stressed on your wedding day and feel taken care. This is your place

Meson Sabika is a wonderful place to have a wedding!  My husband and I chose this venue because of the unique setting on the grounds of a historic mansion, and their longtime experience of hosting weddings would hopefully make it less work for us... and it was!   They have it down to a science over there.  We worked with Jessica and Suzanne and they were responsive to emails and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Their attitudes on the wedding day were upbeat and positive and created a really relaxing environment.  Anka, the banquet captain, kept everything effortlessly running smoothly. 

When I think about the actual day, there was nothing I had to worry about and was able to just relax and enjoy the day. We had our ceremony in the Pradel Garden and it was so convenient for our guests to simply stroll over to the nearby Pavilion for the start of cocktail hour. Food and drinks were an area of importance to us and Meson Sabika stands out there as well.  There are a variety of menu plans.  You can do a traditional menu, a tapas menu, or a combination of both, which is what we did.  We had so many compliments on the food!  The bartenders kept the bar moving and there were never any lines.  

Also, a note that Meson Sabika has made a lot of cosmetic updates in the last year.  The new floor and chairs modernizes the space and creates a wonderful neutral canvas for couples to bring their own style.  Overall I would recommend this place to any bride looking to have a relaxed experience.  

The events team is so kind and energetic about what they do, the staff is so professional and caring, and the venue itself makes for such a beautiful wedding spot. Highly recommend this venue in every aspect for your wedding!!

Our wedding at Meson Sabika was absolutely perfect. The new flooring in the pavilion is beautiful. Our guests raved about the fast dinner service and delicious food and drink. The event coordinators were very helpful and responsive. They were also super flexible with helping us make our wedding vision come to life and work with us to make changes as needed the week of the wedding.

Beautiful venue! And not only do they have reasonable pre-packaged meal and venue packages, they work with many of the local vendors, such as DJ's, bakery, florists, etc so it was so easy to coordinate with everyone! And not only are, for instance, the seating charts easy to make, when we had guests with special dietary restrictions, they took care of it!

The Mesón Sabika events team helped to create a celebration that we will remember for a lifetime! Jessica was excellent in handling the planning - from meal selections and favorite drinks, to the table layouts and coordination with other vendors. Mesón's owner, Hossien, has an excellent staff who truly made it their mission to please us and our guests. The dining selections were delicious and the Mesón Pavilion was a beautiful setting for our event. Well done!

We were so happy with my daughter’s wedding reception at Meson Sabika! The venue was romantic and elegant. We served appetizers and Tapas for dinner. More than enough food .The room was definitely large enough for a 7 piece band /200 guest in the middle of the room on the dance floor.. We were told from friends who had a wedding there that you needed to put the band in the corner. The staff knows what they are doing and all our guest have been raving about the room, outdoor area and food!

I had my wedding reception here and it was PERFECT. Gorgeous atmosphere, incredible food, and staff who were excited to help. If I could have my wedding again, I would pick this venue every time.

It was very difficult to plan a wedding during a pandemic however i have to say that Meson and their staff made it so easy and painless. I was of course impressed by the buffet we put out and the way they organized everything made it so easy and perfect for any occasion. I would have any event here!!

I highly recommend using Meson Sabika for your wedding! Our day, like many, was affected by COVID. Because of this, we changed our plans for the day many times and Meson Sabika was always able to accommodate them even when we had to postpone the date by over 6 months. We had both our ceremony and reception at Meson Sabika and everything went great. There are so many places outside to take beautiful pictures and the food is incredible. The staff made sure everything ran smoothly and that any guests with food allergies were accommodated. We worked mostly with Natalie and she was amazing. Two weeks before the wedding we went over all the details with her and she thought of things that hadn’t even crossed my mind which helped me feel so much more prepared for the day. The day of our wedding, we had an issue with our shuttle bus and she completely took over and made sure it was handled and told us to just focus on enjoying our day. Meson Sabika is also affordable. I assumed it would be a lot more expensive to have an event there because they have such amazing food, but it really was not. There are also multiple ways to cut costs including their off-season discounts.

I can't begin to say enough amazing things about this venue, its food and it's staff!!! I was supposed to have my wedding here May 22, 2020 but after postponing once we ended up having to cancel and moved our wedding to a different state because of COVID restrictions. Long story short: I walked through the entire process of planning a wedding with Meson Sabika and although I couldn't end up having my big day there, I still have so many good things to say about this venue and it’s staff.
1. The venue in and of itself is beautiful! The pavilion and mansion are gorgeous. I love the outside of the mansion (it would have been stunning for photos). They have little strung lights outside the pavilion for receptions when it gets dark and I thought that was lovely.
2. The food is incredible!!!!! After studying abroad in Spain for a semester, I know what good Spanish food tastes like- and this is good Spanish food!!! Our tasting was SO fun and my parents and future in-laws were so impressed with the food!! We loved that tapas style was different than your typical wedding meal and our guests would be able to try so many different foods! Even though we can't have our wedding there we DEFINITELY will be going back to eat!! (oh and they also have really really good Sangria :))
3. The staff went above and beyond. We primarily worked with Katelyn and I cannot say enough great things about her. She knows her stuff!! She was so patient and flexible with us as we worked on our floor layout for the tables and chairs- she had it down to a science! I was most impressed with how Katelyn handled all of the COVID stress of rescheduling tons of weddings and dealing with frantic brides:) She handled every phone call with patience, grace and kindness. She was so good at communicating with us and always kept us up to date on changes/openings in the schedule as we worked on postponing our wedding. Ultimately, after almost 10 months of working with Katelyn/Meson Sabika we had to cancel our wedding at Meson because we decided to move it to a different state in order to have more people in attendance. The most impressive part of Meson Sabika was their understanding and kindness when we had to end up canceling. They were so gracious to us and it just made us love them all the more! Katelyn was so understanding and kind through it all!!
All you brides looking for a unique and beautiful venue with AMAZING food and a great staff to work with- please book here!! I wish more than ever I could have had my day here- but the least I can do is encourage you to!!!!

We loved our wedding experience at Mesón Sabika! Everyone said the food was fantastic, the servers were attentive and the staff was very responsive to our requests. We did a brunch reception on a Sunday morning that we and our guests truly enjoyed.

We had our fall wedding in the Pavilion at Meson Sabika, and I can hardly describe what a dream it all was - the planning & service, the food, the venue and grounds…it was my dream wedding. The biggest compliment we received from our guests was that the food was delicious. As frequent diners of Meson Sabika (all family events are here), we knew how good the food was and that is why we chose this venue. We worked with Katie and Nick in the events department and I can’t say enough good things about them. Always quick to answer our questions (and I sent A LOT of emails), offered great suggestions and were easily accessible as the big day approached. The staff were very attentive to the bride and groom on the day of the wedding and made sure that we had everything we needed. This is the most beautiful venue and grounds around. I definitely recommend checking into Meson Sabika for your wedding!

Kateyln Smith is an excellent event manager. The quality of food , service , coordination was excellent. They really made our day. Its one of our favorite places to dine and that was the reason me and Tim chose this place.

Words cannot explain how amazing, beautiful and perfect our wedding was at Meson Sabika. We got married in August on the front yard and it was stunning! We keep hearing how special our wedding was and how spectacular the venue was. And the food..... it was outstanding! Meson Sabika gained many more new patrons just from the new people that we introduced to this wonderful restaurant. Katie and Nick were very helpful and the “day of” assistant Anka was fantastic. The room was set up perfectly and the servers were fantastic. We honestly could not say enough about our wedding at Meson Sabika. It was everything we could have ever dreamt of and more. The chandeliers light up the pavilion so perfectly. The grounds of Meson Sabika are so perfect for photographs also. There are so many options with all the beautiful backdrops in and around Meson Sabika. Thank you for making our wedding dreams come true! We can’t wait to go back for years to come!

We received a lot of compliments from our guests. They said our wedding was spectacular. Everyone loved every detail, from the food, the service and of course we heard many comments about the beautiful gardens and the rooms in the mansion. The place is so unique and beautiful that the photographer could take very romantic pictures. Don't hesitate a minute, Meson is the perfect place to host your wedding.

We had our wedding reception at Meson Sabika this past July. I don’t know where to even start. Nick and Katie, the special event coordinators at Meson Sabika, were absolutely a pleasure to work with. They went above and beyond to help us plan our big day. They worked with our schedules and were very accommodating to our needs. Our reception at Meson Sabika was an unbelievable experience. The staff catered to our guest, making sure that they were taken care of during the entire reception. We received so many compliments on the food (which were were expecting as Meson Sabika is our favorite restaurant and we frequently dine there.) We are forever grateful to Meson Sabika for making our wedding day so special.

Katie was absolutely AMAZING!!!! She was the best. She was so helpful helping us pick things out and was extremely responsive. She definitely took a ton of stress out of our wedding planning process. And she was also spot on with all her recommendations!!! People raved about the food!!!! When was the last time anyone remembered wedding food, but they'll remember this (in a really really REALLY good way :)). The venue was gorgeous too! All around, awesome experience!!!

The most wonderful place to have our wedding reception! The food was delicious, the service was stellar, the aesthetics were beautiful, and the space was just the right size! The food is tapas style (in 7 course typically). We loved how different and unique that was for a wedding! The dance floor was a great size for our 175+ sized wedding and nothing felt to cramped or too spacious. The lights are decorated with trees outside and the warm chandeliers inside provided such a cozy and delightful experience for our winter wedding. I felt loved and respected by our venue coordinators. I absolutely recommend Meson Sabika to anyone and everyone in the Chicago area.

I want to take a moment and thank you and the staff at Meson Sabika for making our wedding day so special. As you know we had several guests from out of town, including our family and closest friends, and without exception, everyone raved about their experience! The quality of the hors d'oeuvres, appetizers, entrees, dessert and drinks, the decor, atmosphere, service, cleanliness, and location all contributed to a perfect evening. I was especially appreciative of the staff, for regardless of my requests, including some significant changes in the reception room layout and the "chapel", the only response I ever received was a desire to accommodate my request and make me completely happy. I am not sure I have ever experienced such a considerate and professional staff. Thank you so much for your own personal helpfulness, flexibility, and attentiveness though out the process as well. You were sensational. We were told by others how great of a job your restaurant would do, and to our great joy we experienced it first hand!

There is a reason why Meson Sabika is one of the most popular venues in the area. We had our wedding reception in the Pavilion, and it was absolutely perfect! We worked with Katie and she was a constant help throughout the entire process.

I don't think I can say anything that hasn't already been said by other reviewers. The food was delicious, the room was beautiful, the staff was professional and courteous, the vendors love working with Katie and Julie, etc., etc.

Katie and Julie were very responsive from day 1. Anytime my husband and I had a question they were readily available and accommodating. We loved this venue because it was different. We wanted great food and drinks and Meson Sabika delivered. The Pavillion is beautiful and elegant. We definitely felt we got an awesome deal. Our guests could not stop talking about how great the tapas and venue were.

Meson Sabika and their staff were amazing! We worked closely with Julie but Katie helped as well. We were treated like royalty from our initial meeting to the night of and afterward.
I highly recommend doing Tapas style dinner served family style. Portions were large and abundant and DELICIOUS! The staff was incredibly helpful the night of, from setup to cleanup they made our vision come true. I don't know her name, but a blonde staff member treated us so well. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

I also love that when using the Pavillion you are the only event in the room so you don't have to worry about feeling second best to another event like some banquet halls are set up! Highly recommend!

We got married in the pavilion of Meson Sabika one week ago today! I wanted a unique venue that wasn't just a banquet room of a hotel. The pavilion at Meson Sabika was the perfect location. The glass windows on three sides were perfect and because of the date (12-31) there were still white lights outside in the trees, making for the perfect ambiance. As soon as we got engaged, on 12-31-15, I started looking for unique venues that were available on 12-31-16 since I knew I wanted to get married on New Year's Eve. When we went to visit the venue on 1-9-16, we booked on the spot. Not only is it more reasonably priced than anywhere else in the Chicagoland area, but we knew after meeting with Julie that day, that she was someone we could spend the next year planning with. Like all other reviews have said, Julie and Katie respond extremely promptly to every email sent. Sometimes within minutes and even on the weekends! I felt like I asked a million questions and every single time, they answered pleasantly and promptly. We met with Julie a few weeks before the wedding to talk through details and we felt that she was extremely thorough and on top of everything. We had hired a day of coordinator and the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly we never even had to worry about a thing. The head banquet person had met with Julie and was aware of all of the specific things about our day. We were able to change our head count even a few days before the wedding when an additional guest was added. The food was awesome and we had so many compliments since it was not your typical chicken or beef meal that you usually get at a wedding. We chose the tapas menu, but added and substituted a few things without a problem. The banquet staff was fabulous and kind to us and all of our guests. It was the perfect place to have a wedding and the perfect place to ring in the new year. We appreciate everything that every employee did to make our day perfect!

Meson Sabika is a gorgeous venue and at a good price. The staff is also very friendly, professional and courteous. The food is amazing! I have always wanted to have my reception here and I'm so glad my dream came true!

Our wedding at Meson Sabika could not have gone smoother!!!! The events team, Julie and Katie, are amazing, super responsive, chipper, flexible, and helpful! They are so open and approachable that I always felt I could reach out to them with any questions or ideas, and on top of that, I got a response within 24 hours every time. They are so organized and made the day perfect down to every last detail. I would recommend Meson Sabika to ANYONE because we are so very happy with how special our day was! Also, the food is absolutely amazing-everyone complimented us on how unique and filling the food was!

From the first day we came to meet staff and tour the venue we were extremely happy. Both Account Managers at Meson were a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, which made it enjoyable and stress free.

The night of our wedding was flawless in both our eyes and the eyes of our guests. We were overwhelmed with compliments on the venue, food and how smoothly the evening went. I couldn't be happier with how everything went throughout the reception! I would recommend Meson Sabika to anyone that is looking for a venue in the future.

My wedding was truly magical. I am still reeling by how amazing everything was. (almost a week ago). Several of our guests were coming up to us throughout the wedding and for days after exclaiming that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to! I think the excellent food had a lot to do with it! My favorite thing about having my wedding in the Pavilion was the big open windows. So many banquet halls feel like dark dank caves, but the Pavilion has large windows through which you could see trees and the garden. It really makes a huge difference.

Our ceremony was in the garden just east of the Mansion, and it was even more beautiful than I had pictured. The grounds are so gorgeous, and made for great pictures!

As for the planning process, Katie and Julie were super helpful the entire time. They always got back to me quickly and answered my questions thoroughly. Meeting with them was always a delight, and they made the planning process EASY and enjoyable. The ceremony and reception both ran very smoothly. I do not have one critique!

Our wedding was a little unique in that we had several small children in attendance, about 10 between the ages of 1 and 12. They have great children's menu options, and were willing to let me use the bridal ready room as the "kids" room. I was so happy that they were so accommodating to our friend's kids. They are special to us, and we wanted them treated well! Other venues are not so kid-friendly, but Meson Sabika was wonderful to us and our little guys :)

I had my wedding reception upstairs in the mansion. It was the fairy tale wedding I had always dreamed of in my little comfy cozy "fairy tale cottage". I was so happy to find such a cute, unique venue. I cant wait to share my photos of the reception with Katie, who was fantastic btw.
Meson has the best wedding food ever! They even remembered that I asked not to put green peppers in a tapa and all my guests were RAVING about the food.
Also the staff were AMAZING during the reception. It was very hot on the dance floor and they handled it in a snap! It cooled down like magic.
I am so glad I picked this venue. I would recommend the upstairs to any bride who plans on having 100 people or less to her wedding. PERFECT :)

Meson Sabika is the perfect venue!!!
From the first moment that we saw Meson Sabika even before we were engaged, we knew that we wanted to have our wedding there.
When you start with the amazing event coordinators, Katie and Julie to the ambiance and to the superb quality of the food.
-Katie and Julie were extremely easy to work with. Both of them get back to us with any questions we had right away. My husband and I are Bulgarian and we wanted to incorporate some our traditional wedding customs during the reception and both girls went above and beyond to try to accommodate us.
-The ambiance in the Pavilion is as if you are in an outdoor tent with all the windows, but instead of bugs and heat and humidity you are comfortably indoors. The ceiling draperies and amazing chandeliers bring in the fairy tale to live.
-The food at Meson Sabika's large events is the same as it is at their restaurant. When you are having the kitchen prepare such large quantities of food, you assume that maybe the quality will suffer, but there is no such a thing with Meson Sabika. All of our guests could not stop talking about amazing the food was, how great the Pavilion was!!!

Our 260 person wedding reception was 9/2/2016 at Meson Sabika and everything was amazing. I worked with Julie through planning and she was remarkable. Everything seemed SO easy and the reception went so smoothly. The staff was very attentive to us and our guests. People are still talking about how great the food and drinks were as well as how beautiful the atmosphere was! I would not have wanted my big day to take place anywhere else!

We had an incredible experience planning our wedding at Meson Sabika. From the first time we met with Julie up until the day of the wedding, we enjoyed every moment. Julie and Katie were extremely helpful every step of the way, constantly answering my dozens of random emails and questions, and giving me great advice when I needed it. Julie was even there at the beginning of the our reception to make sure everything was good for us. They were so willing to work with us and make sure we stuck to the budget we were working with. You can definitely have an affordable yet gorgeous wedding here. Our guests have still not stopped talking about how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food was, and how friendly the staff was. The outside of the building is just stunning-- the landscaping all around was the perfect setting for our photos in between. The day was absolutely perfect, and we are so happy we chose Meson Sabika. We could not recommend Meson Sabika more! Everything was perfect at our wedding from the ceremony to the reception. Katie and Julie are extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the entire wedding planning process. There is no need to even hire a day of planner with them! The entire staff was fantastic during our reception, everything was flawless and the food being delicious is an additional perk!

We had our ceremony and reception at Meson Sabika on 6/10/16 and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We worked primarily with Julie during the planning process. She was awesome and patiently answered my 1 million questions! They were also great about letting us drop off decorations, cake, etc the day before and making sure everything was set up perfectly. The staff there is amazing and went out of their way to make us feel special. Even the owner came over to congratulate us. All of our guests loved the food, even the notoriously picky ones! I'm so sad that it's over and want to go back and do it again! Meson Sabika just made everything easy and it was so appreciated. I would recommend them to anyone and can't wait to go back to celebrate special dinners and anniversaries.

Meson Sabika was great to work with. We had a very small wedding of 30 people upstairs in the private dining area. The planning was easy, Katie was quick and easy to correspond with. The food is always delicious. They were so flexible if we wanted to change out a menu item, worked w out seating plan and let us explore around to take pictures. The wait staff was fantastic. Our day was perfect and I'm so glad we chose meson Sabika!

Having our wedding at Meson Sabika was one of the best decisions we made! Julie and Katie are great to work with and make the wedding planning process very easy. They are prompt to return e-mails and give you all the information you need to make your day wonderful. They helped provide a vendor list and aided in whatever I needed leading up to the day of the wedding. They both came out to see us after our ceremony and brought my husband and I a drink! It was a great touch and I'm glad they were they to see everything through.

The food is to DIE FOR! We did the tapas and traditional combo menu and it was a great way for our guests to get a taste of the tapas all while still getting their own plated meals. Everything tasted amazing. The wait staff was great and all the guests left happy and full.

We had our ceremony on the front patio and it was gorgeous! Everything turned out beautiful and I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for something a little different!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Meson Sabika. Julie and Katie were always extremely responsive while we were searching for venues and also after we had booked Meson. I could send them an email any day and their response was always within a few hours. I could even hear back from them on the weekends. We ended up picking Meson based on the beautiful grounds, the look and size of the Pavilion, and the tapas style food. As I went through the process, I was even more reassured that the venue was the right choice for us. Julie and Katie were always accommodating and worked with me on any of the extras that I was having. We had a candy bar, photo booth, and the 2nd bar and they were so flexible with finding a room set up that we were happy with. We even gave them decorations and they said they would find a good spot for their display.

Our wedding was on a Friday, so we were able to drop off all our table arrangements, decorations, etc the night before so we did not have to worry about those details on the day of the wedding. There was a Meson event coordinator there for the night and she always made sure that my husband and I had the drinks we needed and any specific food we wanted.

I would definitely recommend Meson - even if you don't like the tapas style menu. We felt that the quality of food, quality of service, and beauty of the venue was cheap for all that we got for a wedding event.

Meson Sabika truly deserves 10s on a scale of 1-5. My wedding was on May 30, 2015. Two weeks later guests are still raving about the food and the beauty of the venue. I am one of THOSE brides- I visited just about every wedding reception venue in the Chicagoland area. My husband and I were looking for a place with beautiful outdoor space, professional staff, decent food (you never expect much from wedding food) and an elegant banquet hall. Meson Sabika was by far the best option. The property is just gorgeous- there are so many awesome places to take photos. Katie is the best! I asked her a million questions via email and telephone as we planned our event. She was always quick to respond and was the ultimate professional. By our final details appointment, I think the family was ready to adopt her :) Other staff members were similarly outstanding, and the owner of the restaurant even stopped by the reception to congratulate me and my husband. Finally, THE FOOD IS SO DELICIOUS! My guests were so surprised that the food wasn't typical wedding crap- every morsel was delightful. The pavilion is perfect if you're looking for an elegant vene- crystal chandeliers and silk draping on the ceiling add an extra special touch. I loved everything about Meson Sabika!

Meson Sabika is a true GEM of the western suburbs. We are very lucky to have found them for our wedding reception of 185. The space is so unique and beautiful - it is well maintained, beautifully decorated, fit 185 comfortably, and has a great outdoor patio for your guests. The level of service from Julie and Katie is unmatched - they were so responsive during the planning process and we were always on the same page about everything. The flow of the evening was perfect thanks to the on point service from the staff and Bianca. The food was fantastic, our guests were highly impressed. The prices are so reasonable, which allowed us to have the wedding we really wanted without having to sacrifice a thing. Our experience with Meson Sabika was wonderful.

Meson is a unique facility with a beautiful room. Three of the four walls are glass windows, making the evening light look gorgeous. The food is above outstanding and provides a wide range of variety. If your looking for something other than the typical banquet hall that guests will love. This is the place.

So glad I chose Meson Sabika to host our rehearsal dinner. The staff was so helpful and accommodating!! We even had to move our rehearsal lunch time a few hours on the day of the rehearsal and they accommodated. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food was delicious! I will definitely be going back as a regular dinner guest.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Meson Sabika. We had the privilege of working with Julie Bell in their events department, and she was such a super hero in our wedding planning process! She was prompt to respond, accommodating, enthusiastic and supportive regardless of what challenges came up. The food was phenomenal - our guests loved it - and the staff the night of our wedding was amazing. Everyone from the bartenders to the event staff to the kitchen staff were accommodating, kind, thoughtful and professional. The owner even stopped by to thank us and see if there was anything he could do. The space itself (we had our reception in the pavilion) is beautiful and the grounds were great for photos as well! I cannot recommend Meson Sabika enough - they were easily the best choice we made for our wedding day!

The venue was perfect. We were unsure of the weather, but they assisted with 3 different plans for our ceremony. However, the day turned out perfect. Julie was our wedding planner, and she felt as if I was working with a friend. The food was fantastic, and the venue was perfect. I did not hear of one complaint. The service was fantatic. We felt our money was well spent on memories that will last us the rest of our lives.

Meson Sabika is a very popular place, especially for weddings. I did not know that until I told people where our wedding was. :). I had eaten and Meson before and really enjoyed their food. When I took my then fiance to look at the place he fell in love with it. We had our rehearsal at Meson Sabika in their Garden area. Unfortunately it had rained for a couple of days after the rehearsal so the ground was too wet to have it outside. Plus it turned out to be a little chilly the day of the wedding, so we had the ceremony and reception in their Pavilion. Julie (event coordinator) did a wonderful job. We worked with her from the very beginning. She always stayed in communication with me, sent me numerous quotes when I asked for them and answered any questions I had. She was very professional, energetic, friendly and always smiling. The venue did a great job setting up the Pavilion for the ceremony and the reception. A lot of the guests said they really enjoyed the food. I think the two biggest hits were the stuffed mushrooms and the garlic potato salad. For many of them it was different because most had never been to a Spanish tapas restaurant. Regardless, everyone had a great time. If anyone is looking for something a little different from the traditional wedding menus that gives their guests different options to try, then this is definitely the place to go. The building inside and out was beautiful. The chairs still looked great even without any chair covers and they were very comfortable. Wonderful place to host any event.

Julie and Katie are wonderful and easy to work with. They are very responsive and extremely helpful. On the night of our wedding day, the owner personally came and thanked us for choosing Meson Sabika to celebrate our special day. The head waiter is also very good at coordinating with us the timing of the evening. Overall, we had a great experience and plan to come back to celebrate other occasions here.

Our wedding at Meson Sabika on Sunday, September 14th was perfect! The day alone was a beautiful day for our wedding outside on the patio in front of the mansion but the service we received from Meson Sabika was what made it the best day ever!

I ended up hearing about Meson Sabika from a co-worker and am eternally grateful to them for introducing me and my husband to this venue. We had our reception in the pavilion, which is phenomenal. The ambiance in the room is warm and magical.

Katie & Julie were wonderful to work with and always answering my emails and phone calls quickly. I never had any fear about anything the day of the wedding or leading up to. The staff at Meson Sabika were on top of everything and the servers were very courteous and professional.

On the day of our wedding, we had pictures outside after our ceremony and the servers brought out hors d'oeuvres for all of the bridal party and our family to enjoy while we took pictures (which was heaven since I was starving by this point). Once we were all seated for dinner we were immediately served our tapas and then our entrees (we did the tapas and traditional meal plan, which is more than enough food). All of the food at Meson Sabika is to die for and not your typical banquet food. The biggest compliment we received was on the food but our guests enjoyed every aspect of our wedding which was in great part to the amazing venue.

I really cannot rave enough about the venue, food and service we received on our wedding day. Everything went as planned and we had no problems. I will definitely be telling all my future friends who are getting married to have their wedding at Meson Sabika. I have a cousin getting married next year and sadly they already booked their venue but were extremely jealous at how amazing Meson Sabika was for us.

First, I want to start off by thanking Katie Williams for being such an amazing wedding coordinator and always having a smile on her face every time I met with her! She's wonderful!! If you have never seen Meson Sabika before, you MUST go for dinner. The food is phenomenal! When my husband and I got engaged we had envisioned a reception that was different from your normal wedding reception with amazing food, and oh boy did we get that and much much more. From the moment we booked the pavilion to the moment we stepped foot in the venue, the wedding coordinators were right by our sides - literally! Katie showed up at our cocktail hour to make sure everything was going as planned - simply amazing! The bartenders were also very accommodating and catered to our every need. Throughout dinner we were greeted by the owner who made a special visit to congratulate us which was very special. Bianca was amazing as well and approached us a few times to ensure we were taken care of. I must have emailed the wedding coordinators 50 times with random questions I had, and as silly as I felt at sending some of them I always received an answer within 24 hours with exact answers to each question. I highly highly recommend this venue - your guests will love it too!!

Overall, we loved this space. We used the pavilion at Meson Sabika for our club-lounge reception space and it worked perfectly! Our vision came to life with ease in this space. The three walls of windows, the draped ceiling, and the private bridal sweet made the whole experience very easy for us to commit to.

The food was phenom! We had a cocktail style reception with passed trays and stations along with an open bar. We didn't hear one complaint about the food or the drinks. The bartenders were very attentive, happy, and engaged with our guests. This was important to us. We didn't want the party being sucked dry by the attendants. Meson's staff was beyond pleasant and festive!

I would do the whole thing at Meson again if given the chance. We LOVED it!

We had our ceremony in the Rose Garden and our Reception in the Pavilion. We were able to have approximately 200 guests for our outdoor ceremony. Many venues we looked at did not have a large enough outdoor space for this. We received many compliments from guests on the quality of the food and the beautiful reception room. The staff was able to help with any special requests we had. We asked if we could have a nacho bar as a late night snack and this was a big hit with our guests. Overall, we were very happy with our wedding at Meson Sabika. It was a unique venue that created a special overall experience for us.

When planning our wedding, having the ceremony and reception in one place was very important. We got married in the east garden and flowed seamlessly into the cocktail reception, dinner, and dancing. Mid-planning, the events department changed hands and we found ourselves dealing with two different people. I was originally nervous about that, but Julie and Katie were amazing, answering questions and getting back to me about details no matter how small. We went through the final details a week before the wedding and on the day, everything was perfect. The service staff was amazing, bringing us hors d'oeuvres and drinks while we were finishing pictures with our parents and wedding party while the rest of the guests were enjoying their own in the pavilion. The food is amazing, and a month later, we're still getting compliments on the food and atmosphere.

I am so happy I had my wedding at Meson Sabika! We had an outdoor Fountain Patio ceremony and a reception in the Pavilion. Leading up to the wedding, I must have called my event planner, Katie, over 20 times, and she was always friendly, professional and accommodating. Everything turned out absolutely perfect and so much better than I could have imagined. Katie was such a pleasure to work with and I was so happy to see her there on my actual wedding day! Katie, my party captain, and the pavilion manager made sure me, my husband, and our bridal party were taken care of & happy throughout the wedding day. The food was delicious, the venue is gorgeous, and the staff was wonderful.

My husband and I recently were at Meson Sabika for our wedding reception (5.26.13) and it was beyond words!!!! When we were looking to book our venue, my husband found Meson since we both love tapas. As soon as we visited the venue, we knew we HAD to have our reception there! We were so excited they had our date available, and could not wait to share our day with them!
Everything was amazing on the wedding. The staff were extremely attentive (from the moment my husband and I entered, they were catering to our every needs), to making sure all our VIP guests (i.e. parents of the bride/groom, grandparents, bridal party, etc) were taken care of. During dinner, we had a few guests who were unable to eat gluten food...they immediately made them up specialty plates without hesitation! Even guests who wanted something particular (i.e. without a sauce), they brought them one within minutes.
We would recommend Meson Sabika not only for their amazing food, but their Pavillion is breathtaking and their staff were brilliant. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Meson Sabika was exceptional. We chose the place because of the Tapas provided. We love Tapas, and from the moment we chose, we already knew it would be the place to get married. We already had a day of coordinator, Karolina Warren, and Meson provided a coordinator themselves. It was amazing. The food was great, and the bar service was also great for the guests. I would do it all over again. We also had our ceremony outside and the day was PERFECT! Only SUN. GREAT PLACE! and we will be going back for dinner too!!!! LOVED IT.

Everything was perfect. The food was delicious. It was hot. The staff was so accommodating and so pleasant. I had so many rave reviews about the whole reception. The pavilion was gorgeous, Michelle (catering) was a delight and so easy to work with. They worked with a food allergy I had to deal with. NO issues.
