We had our dream wedding and this venue was so beautiful! We loved having everything in one spot, Tamra is great to work with, and the sunset is AMAZING! It was also reasonably priced! If you’re in the Goochland area, look no further!

Tamra, at Virginia Barn Weddings, was WONDERFUL. We never had any issues dealing with her or her site. She was always more than willing to work with us if we needed to come out and see the place or when we had to come the days before to start our decorating.
I would recommend VBW to anyone looking for a fun, outdoor, classy, barn wedding!

Adams International School was the PERFECT wedding venue for the ideas my now husband & I had for our wedding day! First and foremost, we were looking for somewhere outdoors. Secondly, we wanted somewhere laid back, yet lovely. We were also hoping for somewhere that would allow us to make our own vendor choices, rather than make our decisions for us. AIS met all those needs and more. We really enjoyed having the property from Friday-Sunday. Being a tad OCD, I appreciated being able to come and go as necessary, as well as being able to get ready on the property. The storage room of the barn has TONS of goodies from previous weddings available for use; the various forms of seating we found to be the most beneficial to us (for a unique ceremony design, for the barn during the reception & for around the fire pit)! The owner of AIS is an absolutely wonderful person, making us feel like part of the family from our very first meeting. She was always available to answer questions or give advice for our wedding. Loved AIS!

This place is incredible. So conscious of our needs, highly flexible, and offers so much at a phenomenal price. Working with Michelle has been a dream and she goes above and beyond to work with us. I cannot advocate enough for them but I’d book quickly as it seems to be booking up quickly.
