Heather is absolutely the most wonderful, professional person to work with! The package we chose had an engagement session and she instantly put us at ease and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera even though neither of us would say we are photogenic.
Sadly due to her being sick she was not our wedding day photographer, but even before letting me know she had already found someone to take her spot and not add any stress on me and for that I am truly grateful. We were so sad not to have Heather on the day of our wedding but the photographer she chose to help us was incredible and by the end of our wedding felt like family. Heather assured me that she would still be editing our photos and make sure that our full gallery would be beautiful and I am truly counting down the days until I get to see our photos.

Heather is amazing! She shot my sister's wedding in 2013, so when I got engaged she was the only photographer I wanted for my big day! Heather did an engagement shoot for us in Laguna Beach, she made it very fun and natural (my husband hates photos and he ENJOYED himself). When it came time for our big day, Heather and her assistant did a great job capturing our wedding. When we got the pictures back my husband and I were SOOO impressed! We also just found out that our pictures will be featured in Ceremony Magazine 2019! I HIGHLY recommend Heather for your big day!

I don't even know where to begin! I reached out to Heather about a year ago after seeing such amazing reviews. I had no idea what I was doing or how to go about finding good vendors for a destination wedding. I did know, however that the gallery on her website was exactly the type of photos I wanted for our intimate ceremony.

From day one Heather was such a great help giving me recommendations of where to go for the "reception" (more like a family dinner after), hair stylists in the area and even putting together the entire timeline for the day. I booked Vallentyne Photography pretty far in advance and Heather would periodically send emails just to check in and see if there were any more recommendations I needed.

The day of the ceremony I finally got to meet her. She is a very sweet lady and made me feel at ease right away. Throughout the day she would disappear and capture all the little details of the hustle and bustle of everyone getting ready. She even managed to take some ADORABLE photos of the 4 year old twin ring bearers who had just woken up from the nap (no clue how lol).

During the ceremony and after she did an amazing job of making sure we got all the group photos we wanted and then some! I'm still in aw at how amazing and detailed the photos are. Im also a HUGE fan of being able to download all of the photos instead of purchasing packages. Thank you Heather for so perfectly capturing our special day!

The photos on the website are stunning... and when they are of your day, Heather and her other photographers are even more amazing! I don't normally write reviews, but I felt it was important to write one for Vallentyne Photography after reading the other review on here. Heather photographed our wedding last year, and I can't say enough wonderful things about her. Not only were we beyond thrilled with our photos, but truly consider her a friend after our wedding. She was attentive and efficient on our wedding day. I never felt rushed or worried about our time. She made a point to touch base with us throughout the day but I wasn't aware of her presence when she was documenting the day. When we received our photographs we were blown away. Her attention to detail, her eye for the big and small moments was unbelievable. She captured so much joy, love, and happiness in our wedding day. Her photographs are vibrant and memorable. I can't tell you how many people have complimented us on our wedding photos. My sister has already said when she gets married one day, she's booking Vallentyne Photography.
Heather emailed us a slide show set to our first dance that made me cry. There were controls to stop it and we could look through these pictures one at a time if we wanted to. We also received an accidental email from Heather about our "happy one year" a little early. She followed up apologizing for the glitch. I am not trying to belittle how the other bride felt, but I thought it was only fair to share our positive experience with Vallentyne Photography. I also want to follow up her review by saying her wedding was posted on Vallentyne's blog. Sometimes it takes awhile, but I think Heather's first priority is to make sure we, as her clients have our photographs before she takes any time to post us on her blog.
