She’s beyond organized, doesn't miss a beat, and truly makes things happen. Just three hours before the ceremony, I called her wanting to rearrange tables and add two guests. Without missing a step, Nicole told me, “If the venue can do it, I’ll make it happen,” and five minutes later, she called back to confirm it was done. Even my makeup artist (who’s very experienced and well-known) was shocked and said, “You have a great wedding coordinator! Those types of calls usually don't have a result like that.” That kind of quick, can-do response is just one example of how Nicole went above and beyond.
Throughout the evening, she ensured everything was in place, from the ceremony to the shuttles at the end of the night. She even packed a snack box with water and soda for me and my husband for the ride home! Nicole genuinely made sure we enjoyed every moment of our day without a worry in the world. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

When we met for the first time during a walk through I was amazed at how organized and easy everything felt and how it felt like we had known Molly forever. I came to that meeting with a full page of questions and never even got to ask a single one because Molly had answered or asked everything on my list before I got the chance (she truly read my mind and got me).
When we arrived on-site for our wedding weekend Molly and Rachel continued to be nothing short of amazing. They had every detail planned and executed so I didn't have to think of a thing and just got to enjoy myself. Every single one of our family members has mentioned or did mention during the wedding weekend about how amazing Molly and Rachel were and how on top of it they were because everyone was truly enjoying themselves and not having to worry about anything.
I truly truly truly can not thank them enough for making our wedding weekend and the wedding planning process as amazing as it was. We look back and are blown away by all the details that went into it and how much support, attention and love we received from them. I had the incredible luck to be working with them both on a corporate holiday party (yes, they also crush corporate events!) in 2021 when I got engaged. There was absolutely no doubt in my mind that my husband and I had to hire them for our wedding, and I can't express enough what a blessing it was.
If you follow Molly or Rachel on Instagram, you know how busy they are (with good reason) and most weekends you'll find them at a wedding or two. We decided to go with their full-service planning package 11 months out from our Oct '22 wedding and I can honestly say that for nearly a year, they made us feel like we were their only clients. We always felt like we were a priority even though they clearly had a full calendar of events, they were incredibly responsive, kept us on track, and made sure we were having fun with the process along the way. On top of having impeccable taste and being highly experienced planners, Molly and Rachel are both the sweetest humans and the type of people you want on your team for your wedding day.
From helping us find the perfect venue and sharing insightful vendor recommendations from their years in the industry to guiding us through the process of signing contracts and nailing down final details, they were with us every step of the way and made us feel confident that our wedding weekend would come to life just how we envisioned it.
I'm very Type A and tend to easily stress out about things, however, Molly and Rachel's calming presence on the day of our wedding, combined with their years of experience and confidence made our wedding (and the days leading up to it) completely stress-free. Every. Single. Detail. of our weekend was absolutely perfect, and if there were any unexpected hiccups, we had no idea.
From wrangling our bridal party at the rehearsal and politely redirecting a rogue aunt who tried to walk down the aisle during our ceremony (LOL), to managing vendor setup and pulling together all the small day-of details, everything was handled professionally and with zero direction from us. Molly and Rachel had everything completely under control and it allowed my husband and I to relax and enjoy our day. Rachel even organized and brought all the decor items we provided for the wedding up to our suite during the reception... and left us with extra desserts!
When my husband and I reminisce about our wedding weekend, even 3+ months later, we still talk about how lucky we were to work with the Très Chic Affairs team. I can't say enough good things about Molly and Rachel and highly recommend working with them to any couples out there searching for the best planning team around.
The best decision I ever made
I genuinely thought I had a good idea of what I wanted for my wedding because I'd planned events before and I like hosting events. I had also already picked out my venue which came with wedding coordinator, but I figured if I was going to plan a wedding from across the country, it was a good idea to have some extra help. I opted for the full planning and design package and let me tell you. BEST. DECISION. EVER. Molly and Rachel are the best of the best. They do it ALL!! They took my vision and turned it into a fairytale I didn’t even know existed. I got so many compliments on how beautiful and well organized my wedding was and it was all thanks to Molly and Rachel.
Rachel was the absolute best at helping me secure vendors, managing all communications with vendors, keeping me on track with my checklist and answering all my questions and any random worries that would come to mind. She also kept me grounded on my budget and helped me focus on items that would really have an impact on the big day. She handled EVERYTHING. It made wedding planning a breeze!! On the weekend of (she was there for my welcome party as well) she was my absolute hero. She took care of all the behind the scenes issues (I didn't even know about them) and kept everyone on track and made sure everyone knew what they were doing, from my family and friends to my vendors, I didn't have to lift a finger. It was the absolute best and her personality absolutely shines and makes the whole process so fun. She's THE BOMB.
Molly really made my wedding come to life. She had the most beautiful designs and I loved that she created a unique wedding design just for me (& my husband). With Molly, my biggest advice is…listen to Molly!!! She knows all!! Let go and let her work her magic. She was so sweet and patient with me throughout the process. When we had to make choices, she'd let me wander down the route I thought I wanted and without fail, every single time, I'd circle back to her original idea which would make me laugh because I should have just listened to her in the first place.
Shockingly my husband was pretty opinionated about his must haves including a white dance floor with our initials which I was a little hesitant about. She created the most beautiful dancefloor design which included a vine crest with our initials and it turned out absolutely stunning. We also had the crest on our menus and ended up using it for our thank you cards as well!! Everything from the flatware, glassware, floral choices, linens, chairs, signage, you name it, just had so much thought put into it and it was DROP. DEAD. GORGEOUS. Based on all the photos and designs I'd seen posted on Molly's Instagram, I knew it would be beautiful but it was beyond what I had hoped for. The attention to detail was tres magnifique and the whole day took my breath away and I owe it all to Molly.
Most importantly throughout the process Molly and Rachel made me feel like I was their only bride (& trust me based on what I see them cranking out on Instagram they must have like 100+ brides a year). To be that busy and still make the time and effort to make each and every bride feel special and taken care of is priceless. I had so much fun throughout the process and will never be able to thank Molly & Rachel enough for everything they did to create the most perfect weekend for me and my husband. I can't wait for all the life events to come where I know I can turn to Tres Chic Affairs to make all my dreams come to life.
The Perfect Day with the Perfect Planner
We chatted with a hand full of coordinators and choosing Rachel and Tres Chic Affairs was a no-brainer. I fell in love with the attention to detail and design and style of the different weddings I had seen they'd done and just had a gut feeling when I talked to her that she was someone I could trust and that I'd get along with. Throughout the planning process, with each vendor we booked, they all knew of Rachel and reaffirmed what good hands we were in.
Although we chose the month of coordination package, we were immediately set up with Aisle Planner- a website used to track and organize all thing weddings. It was such a helpful tool and came with an extensive checklist and sections to upload vendor information and details about our big day. I also appreciated that it allowed Rachel the ability to keep tabs on how we were doing and ensure that we were on track.
While Rachel was so incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, answering questions we had along the way, she fully jumped in a few months before our wedding to lead us to the finish line! I am so grateful for Rachel because she really pulled everything together. She was so on top of communicating with vendors, fleshing out timeline details and ensuring that everyone knew where to be and what to do. There was so much behind the scenes work that she did and it was evident in conversations with our vendors who were so ready and prepared for our day.
The week leading up to our wedding, I was honestly feeling a little bored. I thought that our days would be filled with wrapping up final details, but everything was confirmed and so completely ready to go that we got time to just relax and enjoy extra time with out of town guests as they rolled into San Diego for our wedding.
Our wedding day was truly a dream come true. It was absolutely perfect (and if anything wasn't- I have no idea because Rachel handled it). She was everywhere all at once and made sure that each detail was in place and that we always had a drink in hand. And while I know there were a million things she was doing that day, she brought such a sense of calm to our day. She always had a smile on her face and helped make sure my husband and I had special and intentional moments to just take a breath and enjoy each other that we'll forever cherish.
And if all that wasn't enough, our wedding party and family could not stop raving about her. They loved her and appreciated how she perfectly kept us on track but in such a kind and positive way that things just felt so good!
Our wedding was perfect. Rachel is perfect. And we will forever have her to thank for the best perfect day of our lives.

Simply the best!
When we first started venue hunting, I literally had nightmares because I was so overwhelmed. I interviewed a few planners over the phone and when I talked to Molly, I could tell she was sick over the phone and still working so hard. That's half the reason I picked her as my planner. The other half was because Tres Chic has planned some STUNNING weddings and at venues like Scripps (where nothing is included but the walls of the venue), you need someone like Molly and Rachel to put you at ease and take it a step at a time.
If you're looking for a planner, chances are you are also in the "budgeting phase" of wedding planning; arguably the most stressful. I found that Tres Chic's rates were very good compared to other planners. Do your research, but you'll likely find the same.
For me personally, I really appreciated how Molly was able to keep me focused. I tended to get bogged down by details or go rogue on styling and Molly always kept me sane and focused on the right thing at the right time. She also could be credited with saving my husbands sanity, as she was another sounding board for all things wedding and would talk me off the ledge when planning (or people) got stressful.
For a year I had access to Molly and Rachel via email, voxer (walkie talkie app), text, and the wonderful aisle planner tool in which they document every detail you should not overlook when planning a wedding (stuff I never would have even thought of on my own). No question was too small, they really made me feel like a special bride. It also helps they're funny and sweet :) Day of, everything went so smoothly and beautifully. Rachel powered through the family photos so efficiently and with such grace my relatives were in awe and at one point Molly even put a band-aid on my toe for me (they're literal angels!).
If you're a bride in the San Diego area, I highly recommend Tres Chic! Thank you Molly and Rachel, you're the best!!!

From the very start, they guide you through everything that goes into planning a wedding. They give you access to Aisle Planner, which has everything from a budget tool to their notes on preferred vendors.
Rachel & Molly helped us plan our dream wedding for two years. When Covid hit and there was no end in sight they helped us completely re-plan a new wedding. We went from 130 guests to 12 in a completely different venue. They helped us come up with plan a, b, and c, re-work contracts, hire new vendors, and figure out all the details. Throughout such a crazy time they put me at ease and made it a stress-free experience - seriously, they made me not stressed while planning several different versions of a wedding during a pandemic. Not only are they amazing planners, but they truly become your friends throughout the process.
They have such an eye for design and are very detail-oriented. They know exactly what will work together and at the venue. Trust them 100% and let them make the decisions - you will not be disappointed!
Everything on our wedding day turned out better than I ever could have imagined. We even ended up having a crazy thunderstorm come through on the day of our wedding and they perfectly transitioned the ceremony inside without any hiccups. I never had to think or worry about a thing the entire day. Before I could even stress about something or wonder how to handle it, it was already taken care of. Everything turned out beautifully! Everyone in person and on the zoom (hello 2020 weddings) complimented us on how amazing everything looked and how fun the wedding was.

Molly planned the wedding day of a lovely Italian couple, Eva and Gennaro, for which I was the officiant. She and her assistant were on their game.
