Look no further than nicole!
I can’t say enough about Nicole’s work as our wedding coordinator—she was absolutely phenomenal! A friend recommended her, saying she was a must-have, and Nicole more than lived up to the hype. From the moment we started working together, she never slowed down and matched my energy every step of the way. I’m someone who operates at a million miles an hour, and Nicole kept up with every detail and last-minute change.
She’s beyond organized, doesn't miss a beat, and truly makes things happen. Just three hours before the ceremony, I called her wanting to rearrange tables and add two guests. Without missing a step, Nicole told me, “If the venue can do it, I’ll make it happen,” and five minutes later, she called back to confirm it was done. Even my makeup artist (who’s very experienced and well-known) was shocked and said, “You have a great wedding coordinator! Those types of calls usually don't have a result like that.” That kind of quick, can-do response is just one example of how Nicole went above and beyond.
Throughout the evening, she ensured everything was in place, from the ceremony to the shuttles at the end of the night. She even packed a snack box with water and soda for me and my husband for the ride home! Nicole genuinely made sure we enjoyed every moment of our day without a worry in the world. I couldn’t recommend her more highly! -

Best Wedding Planners - Would Hire Again
Where do I even being....from my very first call with Molly I knew that she was the wedding planner I wanted to work with. Our personalities really just clicked and she told me that day of she wanted me to be completely relaxed with a drink in my hand and having the best day ever. She took the time to truly get to know my husband and me and at the end of our wedding planning process it truly felt like we were old friends. I can be a little indecisive and in my head about details and things but every time I'd send Molly and Rachel a 911 I'm panicking about this or that details they'd immediately respond reminding me about all the amazing details we had planned out and how amazing it was going to be. I left every conversation and meeting with them so relaxed and confident about our wedding.
When we met for the first time during a walk through I was amazed at how organized and easy everything felt and how it felt like we had known Molly forever. I came to that meeting with a full page of questions and never even got to ask a single one because Molly had answered or asked everything on my list before I got the chance (she truly read my mind and got me).
When we arrived on-site for our wedding weekend Molly and Rachel continued to be nothing short of amazing. They had every detail planned and executed so I didn't have to think of a thing and just got to enjoy myself. Every single one of our family members has mentioned or did mention during the wedding weekend about how amazing Molly and Rachel were and how on top of it they were because everyone was truly enjoying themselves and not having to worry about anything.
I truly truly truly can not thank them enough for making our wedding weekend and the wedding planning process as amazing as it was. We look back and are blown away by all the details that went into it and how much support, attention and love we received from them. We can't recommend them enough - so much so that I have sent every bride-to-be I know to them and everyone has hired them and thanked me for sending them to them. THANK YOU!! -

Highly recommend!
It's hard to put into words just how much I love Molly and Rachel from Très Chic Affairs.
I had the incredible luck to be working with them both on a corporate holiday party (yes, they also crush corporate events!) in 2021 when I got engaged. There was absolutely no doubt in my mind that my husband and I had to hire them for our wedding, and I can't express enough what a blessing it was.
If you follow Molly or Rachel on Instagram, you know how busy they are (with good reason) and most weekends you'll find them at a wedding or two. We decided to go with their full-service planning package 11 months out from our Oct '22 wedding and I can honestly say that for nearly a year, they made us feel like we were their only clients. We always felt like we were a priority even though they clearly had a full calendar of events, they were incredibly responsive, kept us on track, and made sure we were having fun with the process along the way. On top of having impeccable taste and being highly experienced planners, Molly and Rachel are both the sweetest humans and the type of people you want on your team for your wedding day.
From helping us find the perfect venue and sharing insightful vendor recommendations from their years in the industry to guiding us through the process of signing contracts and nailing down final details, they were with us every step of the way and made us feel confident that our wedding weekend would come to life just how we envisioned it.
I'm very Type A and tend to easily stress out about things, however, Molly and Rachel's calming presence on the day of our wedding, combined with their years of experience and confidence made our wedding (and the days leading up to it) completely stress-free. Every. Single. Detail. of our weekend was absolutely perfect, and if there were any unexpected hiccups, we had no idea.
From wrangling our bridal party at the rehearsal and politely redirecting a rogue aunt who tried to walk down the aisle during our ceremony (LOL), to managing vendor setup and pulling together all the small day-of details, everything was handled professionally and with zero direction from us. Molly and Rachel had everything completely under control and it allowed my husband and I to relax and enjoy our day. Rachel even organized and brought all the decor items we provided for the wedding up to our suite during the reception... and left us with extra desserts!
When my husband and I reminisce about our wedding weekend, even 3+ months later, we still talk about how lucky we were to work with the Très Chic Affairs team. I can't say enough good things about Molly and Rachel and highly recommend working with them to any couples out there searching for the best planning team around. -

The best decision I ever made
Where to begin!! From my first call with Rachel I knew Tres Chic Affairs was the perfect team to entrust with my big day. Rachel and I clicked instantly on our initial call; she was so warm and welcoming and made me feel at ease about the whole wedding process.
I genuinely thought I had a good idea of what I wanted for my wedding because I'd planned events before and I like hosting events. I had also already picked out my venue which came with wedding coordinator, but I figured if I was going to plan a wedding from across the country, it was a good idea to have some extra help. I opted for the full planning and design package and let me tell you. BEST. DECISION. EVER. Molly and Rachel are the best of the best. They do it ALL!! They took my vision and turned it into a fairytale I didn’t even know existed. I got so many compliments on how beautiful and well organized my wedding was and it was all thanks to Molly and Rachel.
Rachel was the absolute best at helping me secure vendors, managing all communications with vendors, keeping me on track with my checklist and answering all my questions and any random worries that would come to mind. She also kept me grounded on my budget and helped me focus on items that would really have an impact on the big day. She handled EVERYTHING. It made wedding planning a breeze!! On the weekend of (she was there for my welcome party as well) she was my absolute hero. She took care of all the behind the scenes issues (I didn't even know about them) and kept everyone on track and made sure everyone knew what they were doing, from my family and friends to my vendors, I didn't have to lift a finger. It was the absolute best and her personality absolutely shines and makes the whole process so fun. She's THE BOMB.
Molly really made my wedding come to life. She had the most beautiful designs and I loved that she created a unique wedding design just for me (& my husband). With Molly, my biggest advice is…listen to Molly!!! She knows all!! Let go and let her work her magic. She was so sweet and patient with me throughout the process. When we had to make choices, she'd let me wander down the route I thought I wanted and without fail, every single time, I'd circle back to her original idea which would make me laugh because I should have just listened to her in the first place.
Shockingly my husband was pretty opinionated about his must haves including a white dance floor with our initials which I was a little hesitant about. She created the most beautiful dancefloor design which included a vine crest with our initials and it turned out absolutely stunning. We also had the crest on our menus and ended up using it for our thank you cards as well!! Everything from the flatware, glassware, floral choices, linens, chairs, signage, you name it, just had so much thought put into it and it was DROP. DEAD. GORGEOUS. Based on all the photos and designs I'd seen posted on Molly's Instagram, I knew it would be beautiful but it was beyond what I had hoped for. The attention to detail was tres magnifique and the whole day took my breath away and I owe it all to Molly.
Most importantly throughout the process Molly and Rachel made me feel like I was their only bride (& trust me based on what I see them cranking out on Instagram they must have like 100+ brides a year). To be that busy and still make the time and effort to make each and every bride feel special and taken care of is priceless. I had so much fun throughout the process and will never be able to thank Molly & Rachel enough for everything they did to create the most perfect weekend for me and my husband. I can't wait for all the life events to come where I know I can turn to Tres Chic Affairs to make all my dreams come to life. -

The Perfect Day with the Perfect Planner
Organization is my jam. Releasing control...not so much. Type A, Enneagram 3, ESTJ, Virgos, where you at? So, when it came to finding the right coordinator, I knew that it'd take a special trusting relationship for me to comfortably relinquish the details of our day to someone who would execute every single detail to perfection and boy, did she ever!!! I can honestly say that I felt so at ease and had so much fun throughout this entire wedding planning process because of Rachel!
We chatted with a hand full of coordinators and choosing Rachel and Tres Chic Affairs was a no-brainer. I fell in love with the attention to detail and design and style of the different weddings I had seen they'd done and just had a gut feeling when I talked to her that she was someone I could trust and that I'd get along with. Throughout the planning process, with each vendor we booked, they all knew of Rachel and reaffirmed what good hands we were in.
Although we chose the month of coordination package, we were immediately set up with Aisle Planner- a website used to track and organize all thing weddings. It was such a helpful tool and came with an extensive checklist and sections to upload vendor information and details about our big day. I also appreciated that it allowed Rachel the ability to keep tabs on how we were doing and ensure that we were on track.
While Rachel was so incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, answering questions we had along the way, she fully jumped in a few months before our wedding to lead us to the finish line! I am so grateful for Rachel because she really pulled everything together. She was so on top of communicating with vendors, fleshing out timeline details and ensuring that everyone knew where to be and what to do. There was so much behind the scenes work that she did and it was evident in conversations with our vendors who were so ready and prepared for our day.
The week leading up to our wedding, I was honestly feeling a little bored. I thought that our days would be filled with wrapping up final details, but everything was confirmed and so completely ready to go that we got time to just relax and enjoy extra time with out of town guests as they rolled into San Diego for our wedding.
Our wedding day was truly a dream come true. It was absolutely perfect (and if anything wasn't- I have no idea because Rachel handled it). She was everywhere all at once and made sure that each detail was in place and that we always had a drink in hand. And while I know there were a million things she was doing that day, she brought such a sense of calm to our day. She always had a smile on her face and helped make sure my husband and I had special and intentional moments to just take a breath and enjoy each other that we'll forever cherish.
And if all that wasn't enough, our wedding party and family could not stop raving about her. They loved her and appreciated how she perfectly kept us on track but in such a kind and positive way that things just felt so good!
Our wedding was perfect. Rachel is perfect. And we will forever have her to thank for the best perfect day of our lives.-

Simply the best!
This review is way overdue. On April 8th, my husband and I got married. It was a dream. But a lot of work goes into planning a dream wedding and I am SOOOO glad I didn't have to do it alone. Molly and Rachel of Tres Chic were with me every step of the way--they crushed it for an entire year+ leading up to wedding day and the crushed it again on our wedding day. I have guests who still talk to be about how amazing they were--professional, organized, on top of it. They let nothing slip through the cracks.
When we first started venue hunting, I literally had nightmares because I was so overwhelmed. I interviewed a few planners over the phone and when I talked to Molly, I could tell she was sick over the phone and still working so hard. That's half the reason I picked her as my planner. The other half was because Tres Chic has planned some STUNNING weddings and at venues like Scripps (where nothing is included but the walls of the venue), you need someone like Molly and Rachel to put you at ease and take it a step at a time.
If you're looking for a planner, chances are you are also in the "budgeting phase" of wedding planning; arguably the most stressful. I found that Tres Chic's rates were very good compared to other planners. Do your research, but you'll likely find the same.
For me personally, I really appreciated how Molly was able to keep me focused. I tended to get bogged down by details or go rogue on styling and Molly always kept me sane and focused on the right thing at the right time. She also could be credited with saving my husbands sanity, as she was another sounding board for all things wedding and would talk me off the ledge when planning (or people) got stressful.
For a year I had access to Molly and Rachel via email, voxer (walkie talkie app), text, and the wonderful aisle planner tool in which they document every detail you should not overlook when planning a wedding (stuff I never would have even thought of on my own). No question was too small, they really made me feel like a special bride. It also helps they're funny and sweet :) Day of, everything went so smoothly and beautifully. Rachel powered through the family photos so efficiently and with such grace my relatives were in awe and at one point Molly even put a band-aid on my toe for me (they're literal angels!).
If you're a bride in the San Diego area, I highly recommend Tres Chic! Thank you Molly and Rachel, you're the best!!! -

Made our wedding planning a breeze!
Molly and Rachel are so awesome to work with. Super responsive and always there when you need something and never make you feel like you’re a bother. The connection between my husband and Molly was so easy and she is always there if and when you need anything. So sad that our wedding planning is over, our big day turned out to be perfect even amidst COVID and the chaos. Perfect & amazing!
Rachel killed it!! During covid, she was by my side throughout everything and the rescheduling process. She calmed my nerves so much! She was always available by phone or text if i had questions and or needed advice! Rachel was not only my wedding planner but has become a friend. I’m going to miss you!! The day of the wedding Rachel checked in on us throughout the day as well as the guys getting ready. Her and Nicole were on top of everything, the day ran so smooth! All of my bridesmaids complimented how nice everything went on the day of the wedding and it couldn’t have been done without these 2. I had no stress at all and I couldn’t imagine it without you both. So thank you so so much!! Definitely recommend !!! :) -

The most amazing wedding planners
If you're looking for an amazing wedding planner/wedding planning team stop looking right now and hire Trés Chic! I promise hiring Molly & Rachel will be the best decision you will make in your planning process. I truly cannot say enough good things about them.
From the very start, they guide you through everything that goes into planning a wedding. They give you access to Aisle Planner, which has everything from a budget tool to their notes on preferred vendors.
Rachel & Molly helped us plan our dream wedding for two years. When Covid hit and there was no end in sight they helped us completely re-plan a new wedding. We went from 130 guests to 12 in a completely different venue. They helped us come up with plan a, b, and c, re-work contracts, hire new vendors, and figure out all the details. Throughout such a crazy time they put me at ease and made it a stress-free experience - seriously, they made me not stressed while planning several different versions of a wedding during a pandemic. Not only are they amazing planners, but they truly become your friends throughout the process.
They have such an eye for design and are very detail-oriented. They know exactly what will work together and at the venue. Trust them 100% and let them make the decisions - you will not be disappointed!
Everything on our wedding day turned out better than I ever could have imagined. We even ended up having a crazy thunderstorm come through on the day of our wedding and they perfectly transitioned the ceremony inside without any hiccups. I never had to think or worry about a thing the entire day. Before I could even stress about something or wonder how to handle it, it was already taken care of. Everything turned out beautifully! Everyone in person and on the zoom (hello 2020 weddings) complimented us on how amazing everything looked and how fun the wedding was.

Rachel went above and beyond for us! So happy with her
We had Rachel as our wedding planner. We hired her for the month off and it was the best decision I made for the wedding. She was AMAZING! Very organized and very easy to work with. She was responsive since before the month of, answering any question I have and even providing advice. She also took care of us and went above and beyond the day of the wedding!
We first met her at the venue with the venue coordinator a little over a month before the wedding. I'm a very organized person and I was so impressed by how well she did her homework and research to prepare for that day. She answered every question the venue coordinator asked and already had everything down for our wedding. My mom is not impressed by many and she was so impressed with Rachel.
She put together the timeline for us which was perfect. She contacted all the vendors and provided the timeline as well as confirmed their arrival time.
The day of the wedding, she took care of EVERTHING! She even picked up my dress from our wedding house on that morning so I wouldn't have to worry about taking it myself as I wanted to get dressed in the venue. She helped with last minute changes to the schedule and ensured everything went smooth. Our wedding was perfect and I'm 100 percent certain it wouldn't have been the same without her. She's highly recommendable! -

Wonderful wedding coordinators!
I first found Très Chic Affairs while mindlessly scrolling through Instagram and instantly fell in love with several of the weddings this group of women helped plan. I loved that Molly and Rachel had tons of experience with our reception venue, Scripps Seaside Forum. After a phone conversation with owner Molly, we were totally sold on the Month-Of Package. I felt super lucky to book these ladies because of how busy weddings are in October. Their recommendations for vendors were spot-on and access to Aisle Planner was amazing throughout our rather long engagement. I loved knowing that Rachel had my back during the planning process. She surprised us at our catering tasting where we had the chance to get to know her almost a year out. Rachel is very friendly, easy to talk to, and just oozes excitement for weddings. Despite navigating several weddings a weekend, she is just such a positive, energetic person and made us feel like her top priority and special. She has come to feel like a long time friend. I would at times be self-conscious about wedding design choices, but she was always a perfect cheerleader, supporting my good decisions and adding her professional input when needed. Rachel was excellent at problem-solving when our transportation got briefly stuck in our hotel parking lot on the wedding day. Her expertise and responsiveness made my now-husband and me feel at ease. We had just the perfect day, and I am so grateful. Also, thank you to Nicole who was also a part of our big day's success. I would hands down hire this team over and over again. -

I'm a wedding photographer and I work with a lottt of wedding planners. Believe me when I say these girls are TOP NOTCH! I worked with Rachel for my client's wedding and she absolutely killed it. Super organized, efficient, and a total dream to work with. Not to mention an amazing sense of humor. If you're looking for a wedding planner, hire these girls asap!!! -

Amazing!!!
I hired Très Chic Affairs for "day of" coordination for our March 2019 wedding at the Martin Johnson House, and it was one of the best decisions ever! I did a ton of research (as I can be a super "type A" person - I had a looong spreadsheet of potential planners) and ending up interviewing 3 other planners prior to hiring Très Chic Affairs. Molly was always SUPER quick to respond (so you won't have to worry about not hearing back with her)! I first contacted her the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend, when wedding season is already in full swing, received a response right away, and we ended up chatting on the phone later that same day. She was quick to follow up after our phone call to ask if we had any questions.
As others have mentioned, you get access to Aisle Planner, which is AMAZING...and as someone who loves checklists, it had an extremely detailed checklist for wedding planning that blew my mind. It was also so easy to make table assignments, track your budget, enter vendors contact info, etc. Definite lifesaver!
Throughout the planning process, I was able to email Molly about questions or advice, (e.g. should I start my ceremony at 3:30pm vs 4pm, do I need 1 or 2 bartenders, etc) which was so helpful!!! She also has an extensive preferred vendors list, and we were even able to get a discount when booking one of the preferred rental companies.
We started working with our day of coordinator, Rachel, about 2 months before our wedding and she was just as amazing! We did a virtual walk through about 1 month out (since we weren't able to meet in person as we planned this wedding from out of state), and she had a timeline drafted after that meeting. She was very friendly and easy to talk to during this time and never made us feel stressed out, even when we told her we hadn't yet booked our caterer and it was 2 months out from the wedding.
The day of the wedding went smoothy with Rachel coordinating our 15 vendors! She kept the timeline on track and made sure we had a drink in hand right after the ceremony. She checked in on us frequently. At the end of the night, our belongings were packed up and transferred to our cars.
We had such an amazing wedding day and Très Chic Affairs played a huge role in making that happen. They were seriously one of my favorite vendors to work with! You will not go wrong with them!

BEST Partial Design and Wedding Planning!
Where do I begin? First let me tell the next newly engaged bride - congratulations! And next let me tell you to take the biggest advice I can give you -- hire Tres Chic Affairs!!
Now explain why and it will not be short! ;) Molly, the owner, since the first time I spoke on the phone to her, has been the most helpful and amazing human being! She was sincere, sweet, honest and most importantly knowledgeable! We had our wedding on 2/16/19 and I have spent the last full year planning with Molly! The first thing any new bride looks for is pricing right? Well girl you get amazing pricing but so much more! I thought I wanted day-of only planner but after she walked me through her services -I immediately realized I needed partial design help. Best decision of my life was hiring Molly. She spent the first few months with both me and my fiancé Morgan learning our styles and vision for our big day. She uses this amazing software (yes project planning ladies, software!) called AislePlanner. It allowed my fiancé and me to both input images of our styles and allowed Molly to post ideas to combine those as well as upload her preferred vendors. It also has this amazing checklist - save yourself all the books and paper it's so awesome to have an app friendly - co-sharing software! We had over a dozen calls - mostly when I would freak over my next to do but Molly was always the most calm and friendliest woman in the world! I always felt like I had a best friend that just happened to be soooo in the know on vendors, next steps and what looks good and not. Another amazing attribute of Molly is she tells you what to spend money on and what really isn't important. I loved that as we were definitely on a budget! Another amazing perk of working with Molly is her collection of amazing preferred vendors. Seriously the most amazing people ever! I've never been more sure of my choices after choosing from her list! She has such great relationships & discounts with them- you most certainly will find one to make you smile ear to ear! Middle of the planning process Molly met me at Adore Folklore- she met in person and brought the florist I was looking at!!! Talk about amazing- they had a mock room set up with different selections for me and my future hubby to pick from. Over the top! That's when it got real and I was so happy to have met her in person that day - I knew again she was the best choice! After that we quickly picked Brogen Jessup as our photographer from her list, Modern Bouquet florist, and Coast Catering! I can't wait to write their reviews too!
Fast forward to a few months before the wedding - Molly and her colleague Rachael began the day of final details with me. What a whirlwind that could have been if not for them two! You hear about all the things to do but girlfriend- it's soooo much!
Day of planning you expect to have a few calls and maybe some help contacting all the vendors for insurance and timelines but seriously Molly and I talked almost every single day of the last month. I felt like I had a personal assistant almost! She probably sent over a million emails, made a ton of phone calls, yes did my timeline, yes coordinated all the vendors and yes was still the most calm and sweetest person in the world! The week before our wedding, which again was in February, Molly helped so much by telling me over and over it won't rain - don't worry about anything- she would pick up anything I needed and she did! Little things you will not get from anyone else include her handling all your hair/makeup and photo folks to ensure they know your hotel room number, she texted me the night before just to say sleep well and was one of the first to make me cry Saturday morning when she told me she was already at the venue and it would be dry enough to have our wedding outside! I cry happy tears thinking of everything Molly and Rachael did that day- I owe them so much! My wedding day was the best day of my life! I felt like a princess! She made sure all servers kept our glasses full, she ensured the timeline went off without a hitch, she coordinated all vendors extraordinarily, and every time I looked at her or Rachael they had a huge smile on their face. You won't see smiles like that that from a lot of people -let alone planners! Molly never cracked under the pressure nor showed her fatigue- and I know she worked over 13 hours that day onsite herself! Even after the wedding she still answered a few last minute wrap up questions.
In summary - hire Tre Chic Affairs. Do not think twice. My now husband and I owe her team the most amazing memories that will last our entire life! She's the most amazing, positive person, who brought sunshine all throughout our engagement and I could bet she even magically brought the sun on 2/16/19! Thank you with all our hearts Molly and Rach! You have talent that overflows and I can't imagine not having met you! Seriously I love yal - thank you so very much for the most amazing wedding ever! xoxo

Best wedding planner
Molly Stark with Tres Chic Affairs was the best decision I made for my wedding. She helped me plan my entire wedding from picking the venue, to the vendors, and all the little details in between. Her vendor recommendations were on point and carefully picked to fit what we were looking for. Her timeline was so detailed and thorough and the vendors loved it as well. She was able to get help us get coordinator discounts on the venue and vendors. She answered every single email I sent and accounted for all the little details leading up to the wedding. She was very organized and on top of it. I trusted her vision and she was able to tie in all the decorations, colors, and design so that it looked cohesive and beautiful. I was the most relaxed bride knowing that my wedding was in Molly’s hands and had nothing to worry about on the big day as everything was taken care of. She was very professional and was so helpful throughout our 1 year of wedding planning. Rachel Cohn was also very helpful throughout the process- anytime we worked with her she was very fast to respond and would always help in anyway she could. She helped us with the hotel room blocks and finding the perfect tiles for our escort cards. Also, the planning software they use called “Aisle Planner” was so helpful for me to organize my vendor contacts, contracts, checklist, design board, and the rest of my thoughts in one organized software. Our seating chart was so easy to make with the built in aisle planner module as well. Thanks to this team, our wedding was the best night of our lives. My husband and I loved working with Molly and Rachel and would love to have the privilege of working with them again in the future for another event! -

The husband and I just got married earlier this month, so we reached out and hired Molly for her "day of" coordination services, but honestly, her work goes FAR above and beyond that. She worked seamlessly behind the scenes with all of our vendors, including the venue's own event coordinator, far in advance to ensure everything on our timeline was perfect.
I confess, I can be a pretty particular and detail-oriented person in general to begin with (i.e. google doc/spreadsheet addict), so when it came to the wedding details, I had a lot of things planned out to a T already, but when Molly stepped in, the hand-off was literally SEAMLESS... And I just can't think of any other way to describe the wedding day because it went over so well and so smoothly. People ask me how it went and that's all I can say: really smoothly! I could not complain about a SINGLE thing. Everything went as planned (as far as I could tell!), the timing for everything was on point, decor was set up perfectly, everything was returned at the end of the night... Absolutely seamless.
Both Molly and Rachel were complete pro's and you can tell precisely how experienced they are by how well they handle any and all situations that arise. They not only handled the day with finesse, but took care of us all at the same time, with drinks in hand as we made it down the aisle at the end of our ceremony -- it was great! Rachel was especially helpful during our sunset photoshoot since she became more of our personal assistant when they asked us to climb in some sketchy bushes and whatnot... She totally kicked butt and braved those bushes with me! Molly also texted me good morning, and then throughout the morning she texted my bridesmaids and groomsmen with updates so as to not bother me but it totally melted my heart when the girls told me - so thoughtful and considerate of everyone involved!

What can I say? Molly is the Walt Disney of weddings. You are guaranteed a magical story with a happy ending. I was planning my San Diego wedding from Arizona and knew that I needed boots on the ground to make all my plans a reality. With Molly it was love at first email! When we hopped on the phone, it was an instant connection. She just GETS it. Without her, I know that my wedding wouldn't have been the absolute grand slam that she made it. Where do I start... Molly was my saving grace during wedding planning. I hired her to plan my entire wedding... which she did... twice! We were suppose to get married in September 2016 when we had to postpone until April 2017 a couple months before due to a sickness in the family. Unfortunately, our venue was not going to do weddings in 2017, so Molly quickly found us an even better venue and basically planned a second wedding with me. I am not your typical bride, had zero idea of what I wanted. She held my hand through the entire process and my wedding turned out to be stunning. She went to bat for me with the vendors and scored me a team of a great people to work with. I could go on and on, but just know this... she knows what she's doing! My wedding day schedule could not have gone smoother. The wedding started right on time, everything went as planned (according to me- she did rescue a guest and made a trip to the store for Benadryl that I did not find out about until the next day) and our wedding was more beautiful than I ever imagined. Molly was recommended to me by my DJ, we didnt have a coordinator and we thought we could do the wedding without one. We were wrong. We hired for the day of, but she helped us from the moment we hired her. She is so professional, sweet, organized, and really good at what she does. She has amazing vendor lists, checklists, and planning guides. I really was so clueless about planning a wedding and couldnt believe everything that goes into it, but Molly helped us so much, and made sure we got it all done! She made my wedding day stress free!!! I had her basically set up all my decor and tables and I was so happy with what she did. It was absolutely beautiful. She was so patient with us, worked with our schedules, came to us to meet, and answered ALL of my questions. She is very knowledgeable about everything that needs to be done and didnt leave anything out. I had NO stress on my wedding day and that is exactly what any bride wants. I put all of my trust in her and she did amazing. I knew Molly was the perfect fit within the first 5 minutes of talking to her. She was extremely professional and very responsive to all of my questions. I hired Molly as a Wedding Consultant and Day of Coordinator. She recommended some of the best wedding vendors and kept me on track throughout the 9 months leading up to the big day. I asked her lots of questions throughout the process and she always gave me very honest feedback. During the week of the wedding she helped coordinate with all of my outside vendors and helped to make the week as smooth as possible. The day of the wedding Molly and Rachel did an outstanding job following my instructions setting up at the Library for the reception and knew the exact vision I had in mind. On my wedding day, I forgot to make sure I had a car at the venue to load up my personal belongings after the conclusion of the event. Molly's assistant Rachel was nice enough to load up her own car and take care of my things for the night so I could enjoy the rest of the evening (after party). Molly and Rachel did an outstanding job and definitely exceeding my expectations. That says a lot for someone who is a huge perfectionist! Molly was an absolute joy to work with. She was my day of coordinator; however, since I was planning from afar she was much more then that through out the process. Molly's list of vendors are incredible and my day came together in way I could have never envisioned.
Molly is extremely detailed oriented and always timely. She did so much work behind the scenes coordinating all of my vendors and our timeline, and the work paid off. Molly also was incredible at creating little tiny details that really made my day shine. She certainly went above and beyond.

I hired Molly for my day of coordination services and it was a great decision! I knew early on that our venue required everything to be brought in, and I also knew I would have a lot of "personal items" to be set up because I planned lots of unique and special crafts, etc., so a day of coordinator was a must. I was extremely organized and did all of the planning myself, but if I ever needed a vendor recommendation or had a question, Molly was always around throughout the whole planning process and responded pretty quickly! She was always available for a few meetings and venue walkthroughs, accommodating my schedule when I was in town (I planned the entire wedding from the east coast). The week of the wedding was crazy and I had so many personal items to drop off with her, for the day of set up, so we delivered them to her home. The day of, she was amazing! I was getting ready at the hotel and at 11:30am like clockwork all of the vendors started showing up that I had hired for the big day -- sticking to Molly's timeline! She was at the church when I arrived, organizing people and asking how I was, and keeping the timeline she had created in check to make sure all of the vendors were where they needed to be. At the reception venue, she set up all of the items exactly to my specifications, and walking into the venue I was overcome with emotion of how it all turned out, exactly as I had dreamed of! She kept the tasks and vendors (cake cutting, entrances, dances, vendor arrivals, etc.) all on time and my husband and I even got to sneak out to take special photos twice, while still enjoying hours of dancing with friends, because she always kept everyone on point. Then she cleaned up everything at the end, putting all of the personal items in my moms car for easy transport - no heavy lifting required by my family! The best decision was hiring her because we were not worried the day of about anything and could enjoy our wedding! Hire her! -

Molly was a recommendation from a friend who was also using her for her upcoming wedding. I had not thought about having a day of planner until my friend suggested her. My friends wedding was in May and mine was in July. When I saw how wonderful hers turned out due to Molly I could not wait to see ours!
When I looked into all the details Molly could help us with it was obvious I had to hire her! I loved Molly's energy and attitude from moment we met. She's so creative and talented! We were so lucky to have her as our day of coordinator! I told her my ideas and she made them come to life! We had so many components to our wedding and she put them together fabulously!!!

We recently used Molly at Tres Chic Affairs, as our “Day-Of” for our daughter’s wedding, and we are SOOOO glad we did! Molly, together with her assistant Rachel, were absolute life savers, and made it possible for my husband and myself to relax and enjoy the day.
As a matter of background, the wedding was held outdoors at our home in North County San Diego, and our daughter lives in Washington, D.C. We were very much hands on Do-It-Yourselfers for ALL of the wedding planning (albeit at a distance). We had 150 guests, and it was an affair that started late afternoon, and lasted into the wee hours of the night.
Molly and Rachel were the one part of the wedding puzzle we didn’t know we needed, and in hindsight, could not have lived without. They were very instrumental in getting things set up (so we could all get ready) and keep things moving (so we could all have fun). Despite the fact it was soooo hard to hand off all our hard work and planning to someone else, Tres Chic Affairs took over when we needed them to, and helped to make this wonderful day so enjoyable.
We would highly recommend using Molly and her team at Tres Chic Affiars for your wedding! Thank you Molly!!!

Hiring Molly was the best decision we ever made. She is so kind and generous but she isn't afraid to grab the bull by the horns and get the job done. Those are the qualities of great planner and Molly has them all!
We hired Molly over a year out from our wedding so we had her help through the whole process. We live in Los Angeles so it was important for us to have a point of contact in the San Diego area who had relationships with local vendors and could be available if anything urgent came up. Molly helped us plan everything down to the last detail and she far exceeded our expectations. Her vendor recommendations were spot on and her opinions on wedding style and design were invaluable. She truly knows this industry and it shows. And she really takes the time to get to know her couples. Nothing was ever forced on us, she laid out the options keeping our ultimate vision in mind and it was always our decision.
Our wedding day turned out better than we could ever have imagined. Molly and her assistants were on top of every last detail and stood by all night to make sure everything was going accordingly to plan. If anything went awry, my husband and I didn't know about it because Molly was there to tackle any and every obstacle with skill and grace. I had so many friends and family members rave about how well the whole event flowed. I owe that to Molly for her exceptional timeline skills ;) There was nothing that she wouldn't do for us, from running our gifts to the hotel room, to getting us drinks, to putting a band-aid on my toe when I cut it on the dance floor... she was by our sides the entire night, ready and willing to help. She's simply amazing!
All I can say is, don't think about it, just HIRE HER! You won't regret it! -

Molly is a true professional who will knock your socks off. We hired her for our day of coordinator but she was in constant contact with us in the last few months of planning. (Even though she'd just had a baby!) She was always available and always on top of things. She is very protective of her brides and will always look out for you. I had her review our venue contract and she found a few things they'd left out which I never would have noticed until it was too late. Her team was early, friendly, helpful, and just on top of everything. I couldn't have asked for more. I had the Dream Team of wedding vendors and Molly was the perfect ring master for them all. Even though we only hired her for "Day of" she made herself available for as many questions as we needed to ask from the day we hired her. It was so nice to have a professional to call for guidance throughout the planning process! It was so nice that I did not have to worry about rushing around to set things up on the big day. My Mom and Step-Mom were especially relieved to have Molly because they were able to enjoy the day too! My family and I were really able to relax and have fun!
I am extremely detail oriented, and I had a lot of DIY projects for Molly to set up. I gave her tons of very very detailed drawings and instructions. She handled everything beautifully on our wedding day! Everything was up to my high expectations!

Molly and her team did a terrific job for our destination wedding at Levyland. We live in Las Vegas and Tres Chic Affairs helped us make our Carlsbad, CA wedding a success! We had a 100% a-la-carte-style wedding and Molly made great suggestions on vendors. She and her team took care of every potential "hiccup" on our Big Day so that we could enjoy every moment.

Molly made our wedding beautiful, easy, memorable, and so fun. She thought of all the details I never would have and most importantly made the day what is should be: about getting married to the love of my life, not about worrying about the vendors, the set-up, etc. She has a great eye for style and coordinating the look you are going for. Since we didn't live in the area we relied heavily on Molly for her advice and opinion. I got married in September and I can't say enough how happy my husband and I are that we hired Molly from Tres Chic Affairs to be our wedding coordinator! It was the best decision we made. She is so organized and made sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day. I didn't have to worry about a single thing other than enjoying my wedding day with my husband, friends, and family. I have a lot of friends getting married in the next couple years and I tell them all to hire Molly! She's the best! She will be the wedding coordinator at one of my best-friend's weddings later this year :) -

Our wedding just occured on 10.22.10 and Molly and her assistants helped to make the wedding day a fairytale!! We got the "Day of the Wedding" Package with Tres Chic as I am more of the hands-on bride but wanted no stress the day of my wedding. Molly was in communication with us and helped us with our vendors MONTHS before the wedding. She was very helpful at providing her opinions, suggestions and ideas and made some good recommendations for us. We did a whole lot of DIY projects and Molly not once said any complaints and took notes to know where things would be properly set up. She helped coordinate with some last changes due to rainy weather, which was a great help as we were trying to spend time with family in town the week of. It took most of the stress off of us that she was handling everything. My family and guests were in awe of how she was able to transform the winery pavilion into a magical wedding setting and loved her and her staff so much that by the end of the night my family had them out on the dance floor!! Even after the wedding, she helped to accomodate our DIY projects and told us to just go and enjoy the honeymoon and we had no worries about taking anything back with us! We are thankful to Molly for making our wedding vision come alive and would highly recommend Tres Chic. -

I just worked with Molly for my 10-10-10 wedding and it was wonderful. She was responsive and did not take long to get back to me about questions I might have during the process. She was so helpful and ran errands or made calls that I didn't have time for. She basically planned and put together my honeymoon, which was sooo nice and relaxing!! It was great to work with her, and she stayed until the end of my wedding to make sure things went well and everything got paid for, cleaned up and to it's appropriate place. It was awesome! Loved working with Molly :) -

I can actually remember almost every detail of my wedding day! How many brides can say that? Most say it went by so quickly that they don't remember a thing. Well, not me. I didn't have a single thing to worry about because Molly took care of everything! Just like the other reviewer stated, if there was any kind of problem, I definitely did not know. I didn't have a care in the world because she made sure events happened when they were supposed to and that everyone was where they were supposed to be. She worked really well with the other vendors and made sure they knew who was in charge (her) in case they had any questions or needed instruction on anything. They two of them went above and beyond for us and we can't thank them enough. Just looking back and knowing that our wedding was practically flawless makes Molly priceless! I couldn't recommend Tres Chic Affairs more highly!!! -

Molly went above and beyond my expectations. I was a worry nut right before the wedding and working with Molly those last few days really put me at ease. She knew every detail and she contacted every vendor to ensure a smooth event. If anything went wrong wedding day, I have no idea because Molly ran everything. She is so friendly, professional, sweet, organized, and helpful. I highly recommened hiring Molly. It was the best decision I made, I was able to enjoy my wedding day and not work during it. Anytime I saw Molly she was running around with a smile on her face. You will be lucky if you can get Molly for your wedding!! -

Molly and Tres Chic Affairs were awesome and such a life saver on the day of our wedding. I was hesitant at first to hire somebody for day-of coordination services, but I am sooo happy that I did. It took so much of the stress away from the wedding day and she helped keep me on track during the planning process. She also saved the day in remembering to have our witnesses sign the marriage certificate (I can't believe we almost forgot that part!). Money well spent! -

Chris and I worked with Amber of Tres Chic Affairs for over a year on the design of our wedding. Our wedding venue was in Sea Island, GA, however we both reside in South Carolina. We first saw Amber's work at a friends wedding that we attended two years ago so when it came time for us to decide on a planner Amber was our first choice. We could not be happier with Tres Chic Affairs and Amber Steiner as they were instrumental in the design and concept of our wedding. Amber was able to keep us below budget which was miraculous with my tastes. Amber and her staff were extremely professional; we were actually quite impressed with respect that Amber had from her vendors and even our guests. -

This review has been long overdue...I initially inquired with Tres Chic Affairs to see if Molly was available for our wedding day (due to the raving yelp reviews) but unfortunately she wasn't available so Molly had referred me to Rachel. Having Rachel as our wedding coordinator for our special day was one of the best decisions and I'm so glad Molly referred us! Simply put, Rachel is awesome. She was a huge contributor to making our wedding day run smoothly. She was able to execute my vision with minimal direction which was very impressive. I think what made Rachel so special is that she was doing things above & beyond...things that my bridesmaid should have done.. For example, she was always there to check up on me, kept me in the loop with what was going on and informed me if there were any hiccups and ensured there were resolution ....she even stuck around the whole photo session after the ceremony and helped our photographer to ensure we were getting the best shots on our wedding day. We are so grateful for Rachel....she isn't just a wedding coordinator, but I honestly felt like we connected as friends and she gave me so much emotional support as well which I did not expect (after all weddings can be very stressful the day of -- haha). If you are planning a wedding and looking for a wedding planner/coordinator -- please take my word and book Tres Chic Affairs now!! You can thank me later. ;) -

We used Molly as a "day of" wedding planner. Molly was great and really helped us think about all of the important things that we were forgetting. We tried, probably like everyone, to convince ourselves that we didn't need a planner. It became apparent that we were out of our league, even for our relatively modest wedding. I can't imagine having done this without Molly's help. Molly, and her assistant Rachel, very extremely helpful on the day of the event and truly made it a care-free event for us, which is how it should be. I would definitely recommend Tres Chic. -

I had Molly and her team for my wedding planning and day of coordination and was very satisfied with her efforts in keeping everything smooth sailing through the process. I was especially happy with some of her assistants who really helped out right after the ceremony before the reception - life savers in keeping me calm, getting us drinks and food and keeping us on schedule! Molly has a strong team of people she works with often including Splendid Sentiments for flowers who I could not have been more thrilled with - the arrangements and bouquets were amazing and I know Molly had a lot to do with explaining my vision (I'm not the best with this stuff but she got it!). I would recommend Molly for day of coordination especially as the timeline that was presented was held to a T and kept all of our guests happy! Thank you for everything especially from a super busy bride who changes her mind often :) ~Sam -

Molly was amazing at our wedding. We hired her for the Day of the wedding. She was great in helping me coordinate everything as we got closer to the day. She had great assistants, Molly's team allowed me to relax and enjoy our wedding. The wedding went without a hitch. All our guest said it was the most intimate, sweet, and fun wedding they had ever been. Molly also helped me when I sent her some of my decorations for the wedding, she gave me tips and advice which added elegance to our special day! I definitely recommend her as a Day of Coordinator and if you have the budget, I say hire her to help you with the whole wedding. She is truly amazing! -

We hired Molly to handle our out-of-town wedding at the Estancia in La Jolla (which is an "absolutely must consider" venue for any SoCal wedding).
The effort that Molly put in to finding our vendors and matching our needs ahead of the day were well worth her fee alone. Her superb handling of the day of affairs including some last minute wrinkles (as is always the case!) w/some babysitters allowed us to focus on the the event and the people vs. the details.
We truly appreciated Molly and were happy w/her helping making our wedding weekend a special one.

This vendor was the only regret I have about my wedding. I can't help but think she just didn't like me because so many people had great things to say about her. I hired Molly as a day of coordinator. Upon signing with Molly, she told me she hadn't done weddings at my venue before but did have one scheduled a few months before my wedding, so that it wouldn't be a problem. I found out through her assistant that was a lie, but when I asked Molly about it she insisted she did. It wasn't until 2 months before that she said she was mistaken (not a huge thing but I really would have preferred someone who had worked at my venue before). At the time I signed the contract I was told the day of timeline would be ready 6 weeks out, but at around 5 weeks I had to remind her. When I asked at 4 weeks what the status was she told me some had not gotten back to her with info. She didn't know that I was good friends with some of them and so they would send me copies of emails they had sent to her already with the info needed. So she flat out lied. Some of my vendors commented on her lack of professionalism and even showed me emails she had sent to them and the tone was very rude. So I could have let all the above go, but the fact that Molly texted me two hours before my rehearsal that she wasn't going to make it really pissed me off. She said her daughter had a rash, which I realize is urgent, but I kind of felt like a phone call to me would have been a better way to handle the situation. On the day of I didn't see her very much. Her assistant asked me about the candy buffet and I had specially wanted it set up during speeches, but I guess they decided to set it up ahead of time and then tell my guests not to touch the candy. I was so mad when I saw it at the reception. I just feel like my money was wasted. I was a really organized bride and I don't feel like Molly and her team had to do much for my wedding, so there shouldn't have been any problems at all. -
