I had the most wonderful experience with the bridal hair team at Kohnur and cannot recommend them enough. From the very beginning, Theresa—the owner—provided exceptional customer service. After I submitted an inquiry form, she reached out almost immediately and offered to schedule a call to really understand my vision and hair goals. My wedding was fast approaching, but Theresa made me feel completely supported and pampered throughout the entire process. Her responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine care truly set the tone for such a positive experience.

I was paired with Isela for my hair, and I’m so grateful I was connected with her. She is incredibly talented and has such a warm, fun, and personable presence which is so welcomed on such an important weekend. We did a trial together where we tested the wedding day look— it was so helpful and kind that she made herself available for this on such short notice. She created a gorgeous updo for my rehearsal dinner, and on the wedding day she styled my hair in the most beautiful soft glam waves. She made me feel completely at ease because it was clear she is a highly skilled professional. She was also very open to my feedback—like switching between a side part and a middle part—and adapted quickly to make sure everything felt perfect.

My mom and bridesmaids also had their hair done, and everyone looked stunning. Isela was so fun and lovely during our getting ready process which set the tone for a fun wedding day. We received so many compliments all night long!

I cannot recommend Tokiko enough for wedding hair and makeup! As someone who doesn't typically wear much makeup, I wanted a look that felt special for my wedding day but still felt like me. Tokiko nailed the balance perfectly. I was 100% thrilled with how my hair and makeup turned out, and I'm an extremely nitpicky person. Her work on me made me feel so beautiful and happy with how I looked, and that set the tone for the entire day.

In addition to her incredible talent, she is so kind and friendly, but also CHILL and grounded. Our personalities meshed really well and I didn't feel like I had to mimic bubbly energy for her (which is a GIFT when engaging with wedding vendors).

She was on top of everything and so attentive, even providing multiple touch-ups for my husband’s family throughout the day. I felt so beautiful and happy, and honestly, the day wouldn't have been possible without her!

When Kohnur said they’d treat me like a queen, they truly meant it! From my first chat with Theresa, I felt understood and supported - other than looking at my inspo photos, she took time to get to know me, my style, my personality, my aura, and my vision, and matched me perfectly with Veronica.

Veronica was incredible - professional, skilled, punctual, and so kind. She made me feel calm and confident throughout the trial and on the wedding day. Veronica didn’t just bring my vision to life - she somehow created more than I even knew I wanted!! She handled my mom’s makeup beautifully, kept my two looks flawless through tears and hugs. They held up beautifully through the ceremony, photos, and reception. She even went above and beyond to help with little details like my dress and purse.

I was also very impressed by how organized and detail-oriented the team was. They gathered all my information and notes into an online system, which made the whole process smooth and reassuring.

Jamie, my own HMU artist, really delivered on the day of. She was patient and listened to my vision during my bridal previews. I had a second hair and makeup look change with Jin and that went perfectly as well. She was so fast and efficient in time for the reception. Kohnur has been professional, friendly, and communicative from the very beginning.
As the groom, I don’t know anything about make up, and my mother doesn’t either. But Kohnur has made it a very easy, enjoyable, and comfortable inprocess for my mom.
