Tokiko was an amazing hair/makeup artist and made me feel incredibly beautiful!!! All the other hair and makeup artists were amazing for my bridesmaids. They made everyone look and feel their best! I highly recommend hiring Kohnur for your wedding hair/makeup!

I had the best experience with this amazing humble team. I was a bridesmaid for my bestie, and from the start, the ladies really made us feel comfortable. They asked way in advance to provide them with our own inspired looks we would like, and it was very organized and professional compared to other bridal makeup services I have received in the past. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have a beautifully made day with an kind accomodating stylists/artists!

My friend found Kohnur's Instagram by researching HMU bridal teams in Pasadena and while it was a bit risky to work with a team that we had not been referred to, I am thrilled to say that they more than exceeded expectations. The communication was always smooth and thorough. The pricing felt very reasonable for the quality of the hair and makeup skills from their artists and Theresa was so patient with changes in my trial date and trial location (I moved mid-wedding planning). Tokiko was my bridal artist for the day and not only was I thrilled during the trial but it help reassure me that I'd be in good hands on my wedding day. Leslie, Jamie, Fennie and Joanna were so fun, efficient and talented while styling my party of 9 (mothers of bride, groom and flower girl included!) and they made the morning even more special. I also was able to ramp up the glam to my preference and am thankful that they executed my vision so well.

I am beyond impressed with Kohnur Beauty. My sister-in-law used them for her wedding and I loved her look. I had to give them a try. I’m asian with asian features… but what I really liked about them was how diverse their portfolio was. When I checked their instagram page, I can tell they can really enhance any ethnicity’s look. When someone can make anyone’s look beautiful regardless of their genetic features, you know their makeup and hair artistry is good. My personally picked make up/hair artist was Fennie. Fennie is definitely special. She was so pleasant, sweet, and professional. I wish I can take her around wherever I go LOL Her talents were amazing my wedding day look exceeded what I actually wanted. I will definitely be requesting Fennie again for any other events I need makeup/hair for the future even if it isn’t for weddings. We had a massive group of 13 people total, including 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, 1 sister, 2 fathers, and the bride/groom. That’s a lot of picky ladies… but the team of 5 artists managed to please everyone. My bridesmaids were all happy and I truly felt like a queen. I also had to last minute add another lady’s makeup/hair onto this already tight schedule and Theresa was flexible, understanding, and accommodating. I was really stressed out and she made it very easy and made sure to change the schedules of the ladies around as I requested. God bless you Theresa for your hard work and professionalism. OMG, I could not be more excited and honored to write this review! My name is Nichole Bloom, and I recently got married at the Ebell of Los Angeles!

I was super nervous about getting my hair and makeup done because I had never had professional hair or makeup before and had also been dealing with some unwanted hair-loss issues. I wanted to feel beautiful, confident, and, frankly, full of hair, lol!!

From the moment I connected with Theresa and Kohner, I was treated like an absolute queen. My mom also had some concerns about her hair and makeup, which Theresa graciously addressed while ensuring that my mom felt comfortable, safe, and supported throughout the entire process!

I had a huge bridal party, and several of my friends are fashion, hair, and makeup girlies who have always helped with my glam and made me feel beautiful for all of life’s biggest moments. So, I wanted to make sure that, on the wedding day, they received the full glam experience and left completely satisfied with their results!

And wow—I have to say that Theresa and her team absolutely killed it! My seven bridesmaids, two moms, and man of honor walked out of that room looking AMAZING! I cannot rave enough about all of Kohner’s artists. They are incredibly talented, kind, and personable. Theresa is also a scheduling mastermind. Everything ran perfectly and smoothly throughout the entire morning, with zero stress or delays. :)

Now for my bridal glam: Tokiko. What an icon!

From the moment Tokiko came to my parents’ house for my trial—which I scheduled before my engagement photos and was a total hole-in-one, hehe—I instantly felt so comfortable and seen by her. She understood exactly what I wanted without me even having the words to describe it, lol. From her flawless makeup and insane eyelash application to her absolute hair wizardry, she is truly one of the most talented and kind people I have ever worked with!

On the wedding day, it felt like we picked up right where we had left off. She was so kind, calm, and understanding, and she made sure I had a peaceful and relaxing morning before all of the festivities began!

And lastly, the hair!!!

I had never worn clip-in hair extensions before, but I was inspired to try them after my trial with Tokiko. I sent her and Theresa a selfie of my hair, and OMG—it turned out perfectly! The extensions matched not only my natural hair color but also my highlights and balayage. I have genuinely never felt or looked better, lol!

All I can say is that the Kohner girls are truly fairy godmothers!

I am endlessly grateful to Theresa, Tokiko, and the entire amazing team for their kindness, talent, and absolutely iconic work. They made me, my mom, and my entire bridal party feel so beautiful, comfortable, and cared for. I truly could not recommend them more!

Kohnur did an absolutely amazing job with my bridal and my entire bridal party’s hair and make up. Me and my bridesmaids have been in a lot of weddings, and we’ve never been so happy with the way our hair and make up has turned out as with Kohnur. One of my bridesmaids who wasn’t planning on getting her hair done loved everyone’s so much that she decided to add on last minute and they were able to do hers as well bc they were ahead of schedule. I also had 16 bridesmaids, and they were able to get everyone done with time to spare. Finally, I absolutely loved my bridal make up and have never felt prettier in my life. I can’t recommend them enough!!! Especially if you want a clean girl, natural but elevated look.

I cannot thank Tokiko enough for her beautiful work on my wedding day! Tokiko is incredibly skilled, kind, and professional. She took care to listen patiently to what I envisioned to make sure my makeup and hair was exactly the way I wanted it, and always made me feel beautiful and done up while making sure I still felt like myself.
