My Perspective:

The makeup artist/client relationship is very interesting. We open up, connect and reveal ourselves to a perfect stranger. I love what I do because I get to meet people on the scariest, happiest, memorable day of their lives. And its an Honor!

Stephanie Navarro - owner

Bio

Stephanie was born and raised in the city of Chicago. Growing up in a creative town. She was constantly involved in the art scene. She took classes in drawing, sculpting and printmaking. Stephanie was introduced to film production while interning in the makeup department of an indie film at the age of 15. From then on she pushed forward with a passion for being successful in the industry and jumped at every opportunity to gain experience.

Stephanie moved to Los Angeles in 2006, she became a licensed cosmetologist and a graduate of E.I. makeup school in Hollywood. Aleish Peirce, a celebrity makeup artist, took Stephanie under her wing bringing her on as her assistant. Stephanie learned quickly and soon gained her own clients. In 2007, Sideshow Productions, a commercial company hired Stephanie as their key makeup artist and hairstylist.

Stephanie has lived in LA for 14 years. Her freelance career has taken her on feature films, television, commercial work, editorial, and special events. Some of her work includes The Bachelor, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and commercials for Disney, Subway and Audi. She also is a product rep and educator for various makeup lines, she has no problem speaking publicly.

Stephanie has the ability to work under pressure and improvise with last-minute changes. She prides her self on creating a range of desired looks from natural to glam, to male grooming and working with children. She is experienced with women of color and brow shaping. Her loyal clients appreciate her talents and she continues to thrive in the competitive market.
