On the day of the wedding, Mia went above and beyond. She wasn’t just there to do hair and makeup—she was a steady, calming presence who made sure I looked and felt my absolute best. My hair waves and makeup were flawlessly executed and lasted all day and night. She even stayed onsite and was right there doing touch-ups in between photos—without ever missing a beat. I truly felt seen, heard, and so beautifully taken care of by her!

Working with Mia was a wonderful experience. She is an amazing hair and makeup artists (HMUA) who cares about ensuring you and your crew look beautiful on your wedding day. Mia was recommended to me by my wedding photographer, and I knew after reviewing her work with other brides and during our first meeting that she was the HMUA for me! She is very easy going and funny which put me at ease. Mia and her crew are very skilled HMUAs. As a Black woman, it was important to me to wear my hair naturally curly at my wedding. I did not want to have to find two vendors (one for hair and one for makeup), so it was important to me that I found someone who could do both - and Mia delivered!! I can’t stress enough how beautiful I felt on my wedding day. Mia helped bring my vision for my bridal style to life!

Mia was very easy to communicate with throughout the process and was very easy to work with from an administrative/billing side. Contracting with her was easy and clear! Her pricing is affordable for the quality of the work.

I am so grateful that Mia and her team did my hair and makeup for my wedding! She worked with me months in advance to create the perfect vision for my wedding day. I was so impressed with her and loved her professional yet personable attitude. On the wedding day she and her team were there promptly and got to work on me and my bridesmaids. She kept the atmosphere fun and easy. Even when I decided to change my hair style last minute she didn’t bat an eye. She just made it work. Everyone LOVED their makeup. Even the girlies who you know aren’t into doing makeup were raving. She and her team worked with everyone’s specific needs. I had both black and white bridesmaids and her team could do it all. Her team also was ahead of schedule providing us with more time for photos. Everything was amazing! I could not recommend her enough.

I cannot recommend Mia and her team enough! As an out-of-state bride, I wasn’t able to schedule a trial before the wedding, which made me nervous. However, Mia absolutely nailed the look I envisioned on the very first try, and on one of the most important days of my life. She truly has a gift!

On the wedding day, Mia and Nancy created a flawless, glowing look that was so me, elegant, timeless, and polished, while still feeling like myself. My hair held beautifully, my makeup lasted all night, and I felt absolutely stunning.

Mia is outstanding! Communication was amazing from consult call to wedding day. She made my wedding morning so peaceful and calm when I was so anxious and having the wedding jitters. She also helped distract me with laughs and jokes. She has a calming presence as well. My hairstyle was STUNNING , I got endless compliments!! My hair even survived the after party😝 quality work, quality products, attentive to hair details, gentle on my hair and scalp. Oh my goodness, Mia was amazing!! I absolutely loved my hair and makeup, she was so attentive and kind and did everything I asked. Mia did a great job on my hair. She did a sew in and it was so natural; it matched my hair texture and color exactly. She took extra care to protect my edges (which has been an issue with other beauticians in the past). Lots of complimants. I will be using her again. ;-)

Mia and her team made my family, friends, and I look and feel beautiful for my big wedding day! Mia and her team handled all of the hair and makeup for 7 people and Mia even followed me to the wedding venue to touch up my lips and eye makeup, as well as change up my hair. Mia was down for a challenge, whether that was a last minute decision to cut bangs, or do a very fast big chop of my hair before the reception as a surprise to all my guests. That is probably one of my favorite wedding memories: after pictures during cocktail hour, we went to “touch up” my hair and makeup, when really we were taking down the giant bun that held all of my very long hair for a big hair cut!! We only had minutes before the reception, so it had to be fast! Mia even thought to ask for a table cloth to cover me and my big dress so no hair got on me! Within minutes, my hair was chopped to shoulder length and styled, ready to surprise my new husband and all of our loved ones. It was truly special.
