When it comes to Michel and her entire team at Michel B Events, our hearts are full of gratitude. Michel and her team helped us plan and bring to life a wedding weekend that fulfilled and surpassed every expectation we could’ve had.
Michel invested in us and in our wedding in a deeply personal way. That’s something we couldn’t have realized at first, because she’s so goal-oriented and detail-focused. But as time went on, we both came to understand that our wedding was much more to Michel than business. It was a labor of love. She wanted to create something truly special for us, something that reflected us as a couple.
We appreciate so many aspects of Michel. Her work ethic is tireless, and she brings a can-do attitude to every situation. Her availability to brainstorm and plan is mind-blowing (seriously, does the woman ever sleep?! ). Her experience is invaluable, and she consistently steered us to great vendors. She’s also a lot of fun, and her upbeat personality perfectly complements her professional savvy.
When we started the planning process, neither of us had a clear image of what we wanted. Michel was a patient and helpful guide as we slowly found our style, our colors, and the ambiance we wanted to set. She kept us on task and set deadlines for us through the planning process. She drove all over Southern California, sourcing cutlery, seating, etc. from multiple vendors – never settling for “good enough”, and always going the extra mile.

When I had to change my wedding to Santa Barbara, I was introduced to Michel and I am so glad I met her. Her and her team were amazing! She really helped me focus my vision on what the wedding should look like and she was there helping me through the entire process. Michel is so organized, so kind and really fought for me when I needed help. I made changes many times and Michel was so patient with me. She introduced me to the best photographer and a great florist. Michel took my vision for the wedding decorations above and beyond what I expected. All my family and friends were in awe of the space. I felt so relaxed on my wedding day because we had the entire day planned out from start to finish. From helping me with the seating charts, creating timelines, communicating with vendors, even to making sure that the servers at the venue knew the timeline - her support was endless. My wedding would not have been as amazing without Michel.

Michel is an excellent wedding planner. She is incredibly detail-oriented, passionate, and tireless when it comes to executing the plan you develop together. My wife and I were completely out of our element, to say the least, when it came to planning our wedding and managing all the little details from start to finish - Michel was our lifeline. She diligently kept us on track in the months leading up to the wedding, making herself available to us whenever we had questions or needed a pep talk to continue making decisions.

Michel is also an excellent wedding coordinator. She and her staff were nothing but professional and attentive throughout our wedding day. Michel adeptly and swiftly handled any issues during the day, which allowed all of us to thoroughly relax and enjoy the time with our family and friends.

Michel and her team are absolutely amazing! Michel worked so hard for us to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. She was on the ball throughout the whole process, she was always available to us and she really worked to understand our vision for our wedding. And our wedding turned out perfect! We wish we could give Michel 10 stars because she is a super hero! Michel insured that our wedding became more than we could ever imagined! We originally thought that we could do it all on our own - including the day of! HA! We can only imagine the disaster that would have been... instead we walked into our reception hall and our mouths dropped - was this really the same DIY decor that had been piled in our second bedroom for months? It was breathtaking and our guests are still talking about how amazing everything was! We hired Michel as a day of coordinator, but she was SOOOO much more. We both have been in/to many-a-wedding and have had first hand experience with day-of's who were less than stellar. They often seemed disconnected and unfamiliar with the vision that my friends had built up so big in their minds only to be somewhat disappointed when (a lot) of things didn't go as hoped. With Michel, this would never be a problem as she makes sure that she knows every detail of the wedding before the big day so there are no surprises. We did not hand Michel an easy task - a 3 day camping wedding in the Santa Barbara Mountains... at a beautiful venue but it is pretty much a blank canvas. In the months preparing for the wedding, Michel's calls were a lifesaver... no matter how much you think you know about weddings you do not know everything... Michel literally knows EVERYTHING! There would have been so many forgotten elements, missed opportunities and less amazing memories had it not been for her incredible insight and vision. She is also the most organized person we have ever met. She also provided references to vendors that saved us a ton on our budget and every single vendor we hired, including those from out of the area, loved working with her. If you are getting married in Central or Southern California - or heck - ANYWHERE -you need to hire this woman! We have already told countless people already that the best decision we made for the wedding was hiring Michel!

Where do I even begin? I am quite the critic when it comes to customer service, communication, and organization, and I can say with all confidence that Michel is simply the best! She went above and beyond to make sure that my wedding day and the year leading up to it were enjoyable and stress-free. Michel is the most organized person I have ever met and is a phenomenal problem solver when any hurdles pop-up. When issues with another vendor arose, Michel was on it. When we needed anything at all, Michel was on it. She and her staff made sure we were able to enjoy our big day and not worry about any minor details. In the end, the wedding went perfectly with no hiccups (at least none that I or any of my guests noticed) and we couldn't be happier with the whole process! We had such a great time working with Michel that we can't wait to have an anniversary party to use her services again!

Michel is super organized and detailed. I was planning my wedding at the same time I was graduating, starting a new job and moving states, and I was planning my wedding in a venue across the country! Nevertheless, Michel jumped right in and helped narrow down the visions. At times I was surprised by how focused Michel was on all the little details, but by the end I realized she obsessed so that I didn't have to. Michel has a lovely eye and took over some of the DIY decor that I didn't finish in time, and she did such a beautiful job...I should have left more of it to her from the beginning! She also managed to keep me blissfully aware of any hiccups in the wedding so I could fully focus on the celebration. It was a beautiful day and it wouldn't have come together without Michel!

Michel is simply the best -- she is a world class event planner and designer! I feel extremely lucky to have found her through a friend who hired her as a day of wedding coordinator. I knew I would need help through the entire process of planning a wedding as I didn't even have a clear vision to start. Michel has been there every step of the way and has gone above and beyond to ensure that every detail is just perfect. She completely understands my style and has helped me design a wedding that I'm sure will be incredible (will update this review following my wedding!). She is extremely creative and offers unique ideas, but also follows through with strong execution -- exactly what you need in a wedding planner.
