My partner and I worked with Clemence through her Wedding Management package for our wedding last year. We knew that we were in good hands from our calls and emails with her throughout the whole process. Clemence is very organized and has a sharp eye for detail. A couple days before our wedding, we had a cake emergency as our wedding cake vendor fell through unexpectedly. We contacted Clemence and within the hour we had a quote and cake order set up!

On the day-of, Clemence and her assistant did a great job handling the vendors and logistics of everything. They were everywhere and nowhere at the same time. All my partner and I had to do was follow Clemence’s or the photographer’s directions, make it through our vows without crying too much, sign the marriage certificate within the lines, and enjoy the moment. When we first connected with Clemence, we were feeling overwhelmed and anxious. With our wedding less than six months away and having recently parted ways with our original planner, we were in urgent need of someone who could bring our dream wedding to life. Clemence stepped in with infectious enthusiasm, and from the outset, it was clear she genuinely cared about realizing the vision we held for our special day.

An early experience that solidified our confidence in Clemence, and one we will always cherish, was our engagement photoshoot. Just a week after our initial meeting, Clemence learned of our upcoming anniversary trip to the Loire Valley, where we planned to stay at a Chateau and have our engagement photos taken. The photographer we had initially found was unresponsive, creating a stressful situation. Clemence immediately took charge, connecting us with an amazing Parisian photographer she had collaborated with previously, Lea Everin. Within a couple of days, she had arranged a two-hour photoshoot for us at the Chateau. This swift action and dedication left us speechless and demonstrated a level of commitment that truly made the entire experience unforgettable.

Clemence excelled in understanding and aligning with our expectations, particularly regarding organization. She effectively utilized a shared spreadsheet to keep us synchronized on tasks and, crucially, the budget. Her proficiency with Canva was also a great asset, allowing her to create clear visual representations for elements like table settings and decor, which was immensely helpful.

During our meetings, Clemence had a remarkable ability to make us feel as though our wedding was her sole focus. She also introduced us to an outstanding team of vendors, including the talented photographer Renata Amazonas and Katlyn Jernigan from Toast Catering, all of whom contributed significantly to our day.

What truly set Clemence apart was her receptiveness to feedback and her proactive approach. We had several productive meetings at the venue, which fostered a sense of calm and shared understanding, ensuring our wedding would be everything we envisioned. She also skillfully managed the planning process itself, making it feel like a unique and enjoyable experience in its own right. We'll never forget how she coordinated with cake vendors; after we expressed our desire for a fun and memorable tasting, she arranged a delightful experience at the venue with Connor’s Cakes, complete with delicious samples and champagne.

Given the exceptional service leading up to the wedding, it's hard to imagine Clemence could have surpassed our expectations on the actual day – yet she did. Our wedding day proceeded flawlessly. Despite concerns about potential rain leading into the weekend, Clemence had worked diligently with us to prepare for all scenarios. Thankfully, the weather was beautiful, and we had the most perfect wedding we could have ever asked for. Throughout the entire day, we were completely free of worry, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in and savor every precious moment.

Clemence was our very best decision we made for our wedding, by FAR!!!! We had a pretty long engagement and I felt so overwhelmed with where to start. My friend had used Clemence for her wedding and had amazing things to say so I knew I had to reach out. Clemence was the perfect blend of professional, organized, and so incredibly likeable that I want to sustain a friendship with her after! I think it is so important that you get along with your planner, as this is the person you will have the most contact with leading up to the day, and I truly can't imagine Clemence NOT getting along with anyone! Any time I had the smallest question, I would reach out and she would have the perfect answer. Especially as things were getting closer to the day, she handled every small detail and kept everything going smoothly, giving me the reminders I needed to stay calm day of. Without her support and her lovely assistant Kat, I don't know if the day would have gone as smoothly! There was one moment right before my husband and I were supposed to go out for our first dance, and Clemence noticed I was tripping over the under tulle in my dress a bit. Turned out it had RIPPED! Clemence and Kat immediately safety pinned it in place and it was perfect the rest of the night. Just a small example of how on it this duo is and how willing to help they are at the drop of a hat. If you do one thing in wedding planning PLEASE HIRE PERFECT PAIR! I feel so grateful to this team for making my dream day and would not have it any differently.

Clemence made everything about wedding planning fun and stress-free while still executing our vision which is no easy feat in this industry. As a bride who didn't have any idea about what type of dress or venue or anything, she walked me through the process, listened to what I liked and provided amazing options, resources, and tips to get me up to speed. Beyond just being a kind, fun person to chat with and an incredibly strategic mind to plan with, her recommendations for vendors are the best in the business. Everyone we worked with so awesome, professional and went far beyond our expectations. Clemence was also great at looking at our budget and providing recommendations on where to splurge and where to save based on our priorities. It helped us achieve a perfect balance for a perfect day. On the day of, everything was so well planned and executed, I really was spoiled in just enjoying the day. We had some slightly unplanned rain, but we had back-up plans that made the night even better than we thought. Many people asked my family if I was stressing before the wedding and everyone said I was as cool as a cucumber. I attribute that to Clemence and her fabulous team for taking care of every little detail so we could take in the day and celebrate.

Working with Clemence as our wedding planner was the absolute best decision we could have made! We planned our September 2024 San Diego wedding from out of state and were only able to fly out twice before the big day, so having someone local, like Clemence, was so helpful. Clemence was so knowledgeable and her recommendations for vendors were always so great and fit so well with our vision. We were able to regularly meet with Clemence over Zoom or by phone. Whenever we weren't sure about how to go about doing something, Clemence always walked us through everything and kept us on track on our end. And of course, she handled so many other things behind the scenes, like vendor contracts, insurance, etc. When our wedding came along, Clemence worked greatly with all the vendors and venue staff to keep the day running smoothly. And when things didn't go as planned, as can be expected, Clemence handled everything so we could relax and stay focused on our day. We had a mix up with the photographer but Clemence handled the issue like a pro and got everyone on the same page. Before the ceremony, there was also an issue with the venue's sound system and Clemence handled it discreetly (we didn't even know about the problem until after it was resolved) and the ceremony and rest of the day was absolutely perfect. Clemence also made sure we were well fed, bringing us appetizers and desserts, while we were making our rounds with the guests and we felt so well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Clemence and Perfect Pair Weddings to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner. Weddings can be super stressful but I can truly say Clemence made the whole process a fantastic experience we could enjoy!

Where do we even begin? Before hiring Clémence, we met over a video call, getting to know each other to make sure we worked well together. We think this is an essential step in choosing any wedding planner, since ideas need to be communicated in both directions. Being on the same page about the vision of your wedding is key. It did not take long at all for us to know that she was the absolute best choice for us.

Clémence is incredibly friendly and holds herself to such a high standard, and that shows in the work she does. She has an entire process for planning that includes timelines of when things are to be done, vendors are to be booked, and more. Everything is laid out clearly, and she checks in regularly to make sure things are on track. These timelines start from several months before the wedding and go all the way down to the day itself.

She makes it known that she wants your day to be exactly how you want it and works hard to achieve that. Whenever we had a new idea or a modification to an existing one, she was always open to hearing it and working to make it happen. We went with an Italian garden-style theme for our wedding, and Clémence executed that vision perfectly. We somehow seemed to be on the same wavelength about everything. Not only did she follow through on executing our ideas, but she also incorporated her own input that fit into the wedding and expanded on it perfectly.

As first-time bride and groom, we struggled with knowing how to budget properly. Clémence helped us spend in places where it made the most sense for us and save on things we didn't need. Bit of a random anecdote, but we wanted to have pizza at the end of our afterparty. Our initial search was going to have us spending hundreds of dollars to have standard pizzas delivered to our venue. Clémence saved the day when she found an even closer shop that made heart-shaped pizzas for a fraction of the cost.

As Clémence has been doing this for a while now, she's gained rapport with several vendors and was able to speak to the quality of their work and service. This took so much pressure off of us, since we didn't merely have to trust the sales pitch of whatever vendors we happened to find on our own. Once we had our vendors locked in, Clémence took care of managing timelines for each, such as when to meet with them, choosing items for the wedding, and payment schedules.

Not only does she work her hardest when she's by your side, she also has your back when you don't even notice. Nearly a month after the wedding, we found out that our venue's staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful to our vendors. This forced everyone to work at 110% to compensate for the lack of assistance. However, the way Clémence handled this was with such grace and professionalism that we didn't notice, nor did any of our guests, that things weren't running smoothly. Her integrity is truly inspiring.

As cheesy as it may sound, we've gained a genuine lifelong friend in Clémence. The influence and quality of her work extend far beyond wedding planning. If it wasn't clear already, we cannot recommend Clémence enough. Her work speaks for itself and was by far the best investment we made for our wedding.
