Abraham Lincoln came face to face with General George B. McClellan and his army on this farm in October of 1862 after the nearby Battle of Antietam. The land has been cultivated and grazed since the early 1800s. Amy and Darren are proud to continue caring for this historic land by using regenerative organic agricultural practices and practicing high standards when it comes to caring for their livestock.
The Farm at Stillwater Spring is nestled in western Maryland's hill and valley country near the Potomac River. It resides just a south of the Burnside Bridge at Antietam National Battlefield. The farm is within 15 minutes of three national parks, lovely accomodations, and great kayaking on the Potomac River; offering your guests plenty of options for days trips and sightseeing while in the area.

Beautiful farm wedding and worry-free!
Amy and Darren are the most gracious and accommodating hosts! They were so helpful in getting the farm ready according to our vision. It was completely hassle-free and they really made us feel at ease. The farm is quiet and scenic, and able to be transformed any way you want it to. They have all the amenities you need to have a beautiful farm wedding, rain or shine.Sent on 12/29/2020

Wonderful September wedding
We had a wedding for approximately 60 guests on September 30 and with only about three months to organize it. Amy and Darren couldn't have been more friendly and helpful throughout the process. In the leadup to the wedding they listened intently to our preferences, made helpful suggestions, exerted great effort to make arrangements and small changes to the venue, and were nothing but cheerful throughout. They acted as a resource and friend. The property is beautiful. And we even got some good wedding pictures with their chickens.Sent on 01/06/2021
