The Arlington Inn is a rustic inn and wedding venue in Arlington, Vermont. This historic barn venue offers picturesque countryside and privacy for up to 100 wedding guests. The estate was founded in 1847, bringing a rustic charm to your wedding event and weekend stay. It is nestled on three acres of gardens, with a spacious event barn and several intimate indoor dining areas to utilize for your celebration. Whether you’re planning a simple elopement or a more lavish wedding affair, The Arlington Inn will make your day truly one of a kind.

Facilities and Capacity
The Arlington Inn offers space for both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions. You may host your ceremony in the antique lodge, or under the outdoor wedding arbor with the gardens and rolling hills as your backdrop. There are also several nearby churches for more formal ceremonies. Your reception may be held in the rustic Carriage Barn, which can accommodate up to 100 guests or 80 seated guests with a dance floor. The barn features antique wooden walls, vintage decor, and plenty of space for tables and a dance floor. Larger celebrations may be held in the gardens. There is plenty of space for a tented reception of up to 250 guests. The lush greenery and gardens offer a natural and relaxed ambiance.

You’ll work alongside a professional wedding coordinator and chef with over 30 years of experience to create your tailored wedding package. They can provide fine dining or casual buffet catering, and plenty of decor items to suit your wedding style.

Accommodations
The Arlington Inn has 16 guest suites to accommodate you and your honored guests throughout the wedding weekend. Each guest suite include modern amenities such as a private bath with a claw foot tub, a modern Jacuzzi, a fireplace, and either a porch or patio to relax in the evening. Bed and breakfast stays include farm-to-table menus with seasonal dishes served at every meal.

My husband and I hosted a 25th Anniversary party here in July. From the cocktails and appetizers served at stations around the garden, to dinner in the tent, to the dessert (and dancing!) in the barn, the night can only be described as magical. Eric and Elizabeth pulled off dinner for 80 without a hitch, and the food was all spectacular (lobster strudel is NOT to be missed!). Elizabeth had suggestions/solution to things before I even thought of them. We are local, but most of our guests were from out of state, and to a person were delighted with the entire event.

I live in the area, and have always heard the food here was amazing. - The Arlington Inn did not disappoint! Dinner was fabulous, and many of our guests commented on it.

Our day was fraught with the unexpected, as weddings often are. My grooms attire arrived from the rental several sizes too large and Elizabeth stepped into the rescue. Coordinating vendors on the day of? Elizabeth took the helm. Having someone who had been through this many (many) times before allowed me to simply enjoy and allow someone else to make the dream come true - and come true it did.

It was wonderful to have everything on site, from the guestrooms, to the bridal suite, to our honeymoon suite. This allowed us to put aside the worry over a long trip home, or our friends and family drinking and driving. The included breakfast allowed yet another opportunity to spend time with our out of state family, and say goodbye before we flew off on our honeymoon.

The Arlington Inn was a wonderful experience for our wedding. Thank you again!

My husband and I got married at the Arlington Inn in July 2010. Working with Elizabeth & Eric was such an easy experience. They are true professionals as they know the business, the right questions to ask, make great recommendations, and offer top notch customer service. We live out of state, and Elizabeth provided honest, quality recommendations for other vendors -- dj, desserts, etc. Elizabeth even had the foresight to put out papers and crayons for the kids to color in the gazebo in case they got bored during the ceremony or the reception!

The gardens provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and I love the rustic feel in the barn for our reception. The food was amazingly tasty and delicious, and that sentiment was echoed by all our guests.

We've since returned to their inn for weekend visits and anniversary dinners and are looking forward to our next visit at New Year's. If given the opportunity to repeat this day, we would do it all over again at the Arlington Inn. I highly recommend this setting for anyone who wants a relaxed yet sophisticated VT wedding.

This place was perfect in every way. Our wedding was in mid summer three years ago and we made a weekend of it. Our wedding party and families "took over" the Inn and everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly and the folks at the Arlington Inn made it happen. Not only was the setting beautiful and the food scrumptious but everything went off flawlessly. We had nothing to worry about. True professionals in every sense. If you are considering an event, especially a wedding in southern Vermont, this is the place. Oh, and very reasonable as well.

Our wedding at the Arlington Inn was magical! We were set up in the garden, and when it started to rain before the ceremony, the staff went to great lengths to make sure everything went off without a hitch inside the barn, which honestly, was the perfect setting. This is a family run business, and the owners take tremendous care and pride in what they do. I can't imagine having gotten married anywhere but here! Oh, and the food... you've never had food this good at a wedding before! I would recommend the Arlington Inn to anyone and everyone who wants the true "Vermont Experience" for their wedding.

We thought choosing Vermont to get married would be complicated as we live in the UK, but it couldn't have been easier. We found the perfect wedding venue, The Arlington Inn.
Our wedding planner was amazing, she made all the arrangements, we communicated by email. We had the ceremony for two, it was just what we wanted for our wedding day.
We married in the gardens, it was a beautiful sunny day, it was perfect. We spent a few days in Vermont before heading off to Niagara Falls & fabulous road trip of New England.
We hope to return for an anniversary visit one year. It's lovely keeping in touch on Facebook, we love seeing all the weddings taking place at the beautiful Inn.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about The Arlington Inn. Elizabeth and her husband run the entire event, listening to my every wish (and every wish that changed) and made it happen. It was important that our wedding have a very upscale feel to it, while still being small and intimate. Our wedding was international; guests came from Europe, New York City, and even small towns in Vermont. All had nothing but rave reviews of the location and the reception (which was held in a converted barn - how chic!).

Since the venue's owners are also the chef, the catering was EXQUISITE. Taking into account the bevy of allergies my guests and I had (peanuts and most fruits) the food was made perfectly. Great appetizers of fish and chicken, a wonderful buffet early dinner menu (including pork tenderloin, a great pasta selection, prime rib carving station, etc) it looked and tasted like triple the price.

They made my wedding perfect, and I can't ever thank The Bergers enough.
