Built in 1894, The Wilmington Inn has alternately served as a residence, ski lodge, and inn before assuming its current name and form in 2010. With years of wedding industry experience, resident innkeeper Megan Foster is dedicated to working with couples to craft the beautiful, memorable wedding event of their dreams with The Wilmington Inn as their backdrop.
Facilities & Capacity
Conveniently located in historic downtown Wilmington near the local Valley Trail, The Wilmington Inn’s indoor area is ideal for rehearsal dinners and smaller, intimate gatherings of up to 50 people, while the inn’s outdoor lawns beautifully accented with apple trees readily accommodate wedding events of up to 125 guests. The Wilmington Inn’s indoor areas feature a cozy bar, game room, and a deck offering a stunning view of the Deerfield River.
Services Offered
The Wilmington Inn handles all set up and clean up needs, and an in-house bar is available for the use of you and your wedding guests. Megan Foster will serve as your day-of wedding coordinator. Outside vendors are always welcome, though Megan is happy to offer vendor referrals and recommendations to interested couples at no additional cost. Parking for up to forty vehicles is supplied on-site, and valet service can be added upon request.

They brought our dream wedding to life!
Megan and Charlie were amazing hosts! Any time we needed something, they were there without hesitation. The breakfast at the inn was delicious. Each room was unique & cozy. Our wedding weekend was perfect - our guests raved about their entire experience. Plenty of places on the property to hang out. Charlie & the other bartender (sorry, I forget her name!) made great drinks & stayed late for us. We were just blown away. Also, they were so understanding and patient with our young kiddos and babies running around, which means so much to us! Thank you both! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic all around
Charlie and Megan were fantastic hosts for our wedding and wedding party for the weekend. Everything was beautiful and perfectly coordinated from start to finish. Megan walked us through every step with patience and clarity and we thought overall we couldn’t have possibly had a wedding more perfectly suited to our vision.
Our guests also had a wonderful experience at the Wilmington Inn and we couldn’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic inn and better people!
My wife and I were married here and had an amazing experience. The inn itself is beautiful, cozy, and charming, giving us the exact atmosphere we were looking for. Megan was a huge help from the the very beginning, guiding us through the planning process and handling questions and requests from eager parents with professionalism and patience. Day-of she made sure we were fed in the morning, helped wrangle family and vendors, and made sure everything was running smoothly on a day where rain made things challenging. Charlie was equally amazing, serving bar throughout the weekend, sharing stories, and surprising us by building a new chuppah for our ceremony! Both of them were so warm and accommodating throughout the entire weekend that we can't imagine what it would have been like without them. We definitely plan on coming back for a ski weekend in the future!

We got married at The Wilmington Inn this past weekend and it was truly a dream come true. I couldn’t recommend Megan and Charlie more! They made the whole weekend run smoothly for our entire bridal party and families from arrival, to rehearsal dinner recommendations and drinks with a bonfire after, the wedding day, brunch and lunch recommendations the next day, and then spending the evening relaxing before checkout the next day. The entire ceremony day Megan and Charlie were present and focused with their amazing staff from start to finish making everything perfect knowing exactly what needed to be done even before I knew. They both gave wonderful recommendations, the Inn was spotless and perfectly clean 24/7, their staff was on top of everything, and the beds in the rooms were beyond comfortable. All of our guests and friends couldn’t rave enough about the accommodations, beautiful property, and how fabulous the staff were. I would give Megan and Charlie 200/5 stars if I was able to! We cannot wait to come back again and stay at The Wilmington Inn!

Local Destination Wedding
Megan at the Wilmington Inn helped to create the perfect wedding for us. Not only was she was accommodating and easy to communicate with but the location and setting of the inn was phenomenal. We had many compliments on the venue and all our out of town guests found Wilmington extremely charming. The "bridal suite" (the Joseph Courtemanche Suite) was large, clean and very comfortable. I loved how the window overlooked the ceremony site. The home cooked breakfast was also a treat (waffles, fresh eggs, yogurt, granola, berries...). We should have stayed an extra night after the wedding but we hope to be back to visit!

Voted best wedding yet!
We originally booked Carinthia at Mount Snow, then covid came and mount snow did not open. So two months before our set wedding date we were stranded with no idea what to do. That’s when we were got in contact with Megan from the Wilmington inn. She was great! They were able to accommodate my whole family in the inn, had our date and really relieved the stress of planning the whole wedding all over again! She pointed us in the direction of an amazing caterer, and really just went above and beyond for the whole wedding. Our friends and family had a great time! All I hear still is how great the whole wedding was and how smoothly it went. Number one random compliment I get is how awesome the bathrooms were! Megan made me feel welcome and I actually was excited for the whole experience. In the end I am happy Mount Snow cancelled us, I do not believe it would have been the same amazing experience for everyone! I would highly recommend The Wilmington Inn for any wedding and even just to stay for a few days in the area!

Perfect Hometown Wedding!
My husband and I live in Wilmington (I grew up here) 2nd marriage for both of us, mostly family so the Inn was perfect for a smaller wedding. Meagan and Charlie are great to work with and we connected with them immediately. We wanted an all inclusive location and we were able to have the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at the Inn. Meagan was great to work with as we had to flex a little in some of the arrangements due to the pandemic. Outdoor ceremony, indoor/outdoor reception. The grandchildren were our wedding party and Meagan was great with them getting them all lined up and prepared to walk down the isle. Beautiful location and great setting for pictures as well!
