We had a wonderful experience working with the TAM on our wedding, and Angie was incredibly helpful every step of the way. Hosting a wedding in a museum is a unique opportunity and can have its limitations, however we appreciated how Angie helped us get creative with the space to comfortably accommodate our 175 guests. She was responsive, organized, and made sure all the details were covered so we could enjoy the day stress-free. The wedding came together beautifully and went off without a hitch!

My wife and I had our wedding here in September 2022. We are so glad that we did! The staff at TAM was very kind and friendly to us. The staff helped us iron out all the details including table linens, napkins, dishes, glasses, and more. We had an external wedding planner, but the TAM staff was right there by our side assisting us in topping off the details. They were really detailed in letting us know what they needed from us. They were always very responsive in communication as well. We got lots of compliments on our decor and design that TAM helped us with.

They have an in-house catering service as well. Chef Tony and his team helped us to craft our own custom Vegan menu for our dinner. It was absolutely delicious. We got lots of compliments from our guests on the food.

The venue was phenomenally beautiful and had a great location! We got lots of compliments from our guests on the beauty of the venue. There were great photo opportunities as well.

I highly recommend TAM and their catering service for your wedding. We had an amazing experience, and they helped make our special day even more special. They are a classy and premium, yet affordable option for a wedding.

We had our Annual company Holiday party at the Tacoma Art museum, and everything went beautifully! the space was gorgeous! Kristie Worthey and Jon Spencer made the event run very smoothly. They were very sweet and worked with our needs. They worked with any special requests that we had and helped ensure all staff was aware of all details requested.
They had our slideshow playing and were very accommodating.
It was easy to work with them via email and personal meetings.
Set up and clean up was an extra $400 fee, that I highly recommend taking advantage of! So worth it!!! I dropped all decorations off the night prior to the event, and everything was set up by the time I arrived the next day. Such a huge relief! Especially for me! I tend to be a bit OCD and un trusting, so I was very impressed and relieved when I showed up to the party and found everything looking perfect! The staff did an amazing job! We rented out the parking lot and did the coupon code selection. This worked out great! A bill later option. We also did drink tickets and had the bar invoice us later. Made it very easy to budget. Be aware that the venue will only have a total of 13 round tables / 104 chairs included in the rental. We had to pay an extra $80 fee and $10 a table to rent through American Party place, but it was worth it and very nice that the Art Museum will take care of all the details and bill you later. The only things I would change for the future would be to make sure we had more of a lighter beer selection. Other than that, I felt like a very lucky girl to have a party turn out to be so wonderful! Beautiful space and great helpful staff!

The Tacoma Art Museum was the perfect venue for our reception. It encompassed everything we had envisioned for our wedding. Our guests loved it and had a great time. The service was beyond exceptional and far exceeded our expectations. We are very pleased that we chose to have our reception at the museum and would highly recommend this venue.

I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding!! I held both my ceremony and reception here. Their staff is great to work with and you really get a great value for your money. The venue is absolutely beautiful and there is very little decoration required in the lobby area to make it wedding ready! I was very happy with my choice.
