I am new to Colorado Springs but am experienced Wedding Officiant having performed ceremonies since 2008.

It's your wedding and it's a BIG DEAL whether it is a small Elopement ceremony or a Large event...your wedding is one of the biggest milestones of your life! It is my personal goal to see that your ceremony is as heartfelt as your love for each other, and if you are having a guest list, it is my goal that it be an experience for them and not just an event. My hope is that everyone will come away with a lightened heart and deepened appreciation for the miracle of love.

Before I performed my first ceremony, I wanted to make sure that a moment as large as this was done correctly, so I took the time and made the investment to acquire the training that would help me to help you experience the ceremony that your special love deserves. I spent several months training to become a Certified Wedding Celebrant and after that, and after performing a large number of ceremonies I felt a call to go deeper and went on to seminary and spent two more years expanding my knowledge and experience and was Ordained as an Interfaith-Inter-Spiritual Minister...studying World Religions, an experience that opened my heart larger than it already was! As a life long learner, I didn't stop there...I went on to become Ordained through First Congregational Church of Tacoma, where I was Assisting Minister, and then continued studies in Chaplaincy and was a Chaplain at Nativity House, a homeless shelter, where I learned much about the human condition...very humbling. From there I went on to receive my Doctor of Divinity. All of this has been so rewarding and enlightening. I believe it has helped me to become a better listener and has expanded my knowledge of other faith traditions, cultures, lifestyles and deepened my respect and understanding for those who choose no tradition. I believe in marriage equality.
