Bill graduated from Fairfield University with a bachelor’s degree in religious studies, from Harvard Divinity School with a master’s degree in the comparative study of religion, and from Columbia University with a master’s degree in private school leadership.
For 18 years, Bill served as an educator in a variety of roles, including teacher of world religions, campus minister, program director, administrator, and middle school principal. Now, he is an independent consultant who obsesses over creating weddings and other rituals that prioritize authenticity, identity, and transformation.
Bill grew up in the Chicago area and is the youngest of 10 siblings. His interests include architecture, travel, pop culture, social justice, and advocacy for underrepresented groups.
