My spouse and I loved working with Carr’s. Ellie and her staff have an organized and quickly responsive system set up to answer all your questions big and small. We had multiple menu changes throughout the process and that was no problem at all for them. Pricing was fair if not on the lower side based on researching other companies. They offer options for big and smaller groups and offer simpler items like a pasta bar (what we ate) to fancier plated dishes. They also provided bar service. And the food tasted amazing, a few days in and people are still talking about the shrimp and pesto with me! At the end of the day it was their excellent communication that really sold me. My spouse and I had a horrible time with some other vendors and really poor communication, but Carr’s put us at ease in getting all the info we needed.

My husband and I had the unfortunate circumstance of our caterers canceling a mere 3 weeks before our destination wedding in Washington. Carr's Restaurant & Catering to the rescue and managed to provide us with their amazing services in an incredibly short timeframe. They worked with us on our menu and we had a stellar selection to provide our guests: 3 appetizers, a seafood and beef main, and some truly amazing side dishes. We received so many compliments from our guests about the magnificent quality of food, and everyone was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. We had a small leftover amount of salmon, which I was very excited about, the rest, however, was positively devoured by our guests. Even with the travel and stipend for staff and bartenders in conjunction with food, dishes, utensils and place-ware, the price was incredibly competitive with most all other catering company quotes! I simply couldn’t be happier with the catering services provided by Carr's restaurant & Catering for our wedding and I would highly recommend them to everyone wishing for an amazing meal with even more amazing staff.

Carrs Catering was mediocre. We selected them because their price was affordable for our budget. But you get what you pay for. We went in for two tastings because we weren't entirely satisfied with the first. And even after the second tasting, I wasn't really happy with the menu. The caterers were willing to take a specific recipe that I gave them to make for our wedding. So I spent a couple months experimenting with different recipes, and finally found a delicious salmon dish, which they made. There were a few problems though. We selected two vegetable sides and one of them was entirely different from what we ordered. Nobody informed me of the switch of the sides until I saw it myself on the wedding day. Instead of a nice summer vegetable mix of zucchini, squash, and carrots, we got this stewy texture of carmelized onions, soft carrots, and some other vegetables. It was nasty and nobody really ate it.

Another big problem was their quality of service. The waiters at the wedding reception seemed to be very efficient and good at their jobs at first. However, the pacing of the reception seemed very rushed. And looking back on it and talking to our guests afterwards, many of them complained that anytime the guests got up to either go dance, walk around, go to the bathroom, the waiters came and cleared their place. One of my friends said he had to go up and get 4 slices of cake because every time he got up, they took his plate away and threw it away.

We also had a beautiful cake made by another company and Carrs Catering was responsible for cutting and distributing the cake. However, one of the waiters decided to throw away our cake stand, which was rented without bothering to ask anyone. Luckily, the catering company was professional enough to accept full responsibility and pay for the replacement. Overall, it was very mediocre like I said. If I had more money for a more legitimate catering company, I would avoid this place.
