The restaurant was founded in 1987 by restaurateur Diane Symms, who was influenced by her travels throughout Italy. The business has since expanded from its original Ballard location to numerous spots throughout the region, including Bellingham and South Mill Creek. Still family owned and operated, the company is now run by Diane’s daughter, Kerri Lonergan-Dreke. Concept Catering by Lombardi's provides three tiers of wedding catering, from the Budget Brides option to the All-Inclusive Dinner-Buffet package.
