This venue is amazing, the area is amazing, and the staff is amazing! We had our wedding here in August 2018 after dealing with 3 different owners. THE PROPERTY IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP AFTER THE 2017 WEDDING SEASON. We originally booked more than a year and a half before our wedding date because the price was good, we loved the space and the location, and we liked the staff we met both times we went. Those owners sold it to new owners before the 2017 wedding season and we had nothing but issues the whole time they were owners (which is why some of the reviews before me are so bad). We were so thankful to hear it was sold again around November 2017 and the new owners and staff are AMAZING. It was a difficult transition throughout 3 different owners, but the new owners were willing to honor our original contract and answered all of our questions any time we had them (and we had them a lot). The general manager went above and beyond for us to have everything we wanted the day of and before. The food was good, and the chef even prepared two vegan meals for two vegans we had in our wedding party without even being asked! The general manager contacted all of our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page and it really helped the day flow smoothly and she was always willing to do what she could to have what we wanted. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone!! Don't let old reviews scare you off, there are new owners and they have a lot of wedding experience!

I was there with a small group for a convention. The staff and food was excellent. I have been to many conventions and the food at Sheepscot Harbour was the best I have had in a long time. Tony took care of us and was very professional. I feel the staff went above and beyond our expectations.
The rooms and cabins were very comfortable. I had a two bedroom cabin that overlooked the river. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities of home. They have comfortable chairs on the porch where you can watch the river flow. There was internet up in the main rooms but my cabin did not have internet. I really did not miss it as the area had much to offer. A wedding was being held at the resort and it appeared that the wedding went off very well. They have an outside gazebo by the edge of the river where the outside weddings are held. There is a private boat dock where you can dock a boat if you have one.
This place is great for a romantic getaway, wedding or convention. A couple or a group would enjoy staying here. It is close to everything, yet a quiet place to relax. I would definitely stay here again.

Sheepscot Harbour Village Resort is a WONDERFUL place for a wedding! It is classically beautiful, with plenty of accommodations. They treat their clients like royalty! As a DJ, I find them very easy to work with, presenting opportunities to deliver premium service!
The Sheepscot River Resort is a beautiful location and venue. I have worked with them several times and all the bridal couples are thrilled when the select this resort. The wedding and reception sites have beautiful views. The cottages are new and very nicely decorated. Five stars.
