Roman Candles has over 9 years of radio, club, and mobile DJ experience in Honolulu. As host of The Morning Jive Thursdays 6-9am on 90.3 KTUH FM, I have access to the latest hot jams, as well as a library full of classics.

Everything from Frank Sinatra, classic jazz, funk, rock, country, soul, gospel, and R&B, to the most recent Top 40 hip hop/pop/EDM/remixes, and underground hip hop and house.

Professional, high quality, 1000 watt, 12" QSC brand speakers and matching 1000 watt, 18" subwoofer provide crisp, clean sound and thumping bass for events of up to 500 people indoors and outdoors, while sound-activated lasers, lights, bubbles, and fog create a high energy dance floor.

When I'm not on air or mixing a funky fresh live set, I like to sail, SCUBA, lounge on the beach, travel hack, and explore my surroundings. I'm certified as a lifeguard, sailing instructor, and PADI Divemaster. In Spring 2015 I finished my Bachelor's Degree in Economics at University of Hawai'i at Manoa with Minors in Spanish, Political Science, and Marine Biology.

I'm thoroughly enjoying post-grad life in paradise. In the near future I plan to travel the world under sail in search of the perfect reef, wind, waves, sands, and jams.
