Best reception ever

I gave DJ Roman some instructions on what we wanted at our reception with the note that he is welcome to use his professional judgement to make it a good party and I am so glad he did!!! Everyone has been talking about the dance party for days after the wedding and how much fun they had and how they want to fly DJ Roman to the mainland for their weddings! Thank you DJ Roman for bringing the party to us!!!!!

DJ Roman Candles had all our wedding guests dancing all night!!

DJ Roman Candles DJ'ed our wedding at Turtle Bay Resort and he was AMAZING!!! We weren't sure if our group would be big into dancing but he had EVERYONE on the floor the ENTIRE NIGHT!!! He did an awesome job of picking songs that every age group would like and doing fun transitions between the songs too so that there was no lull in the party. He was also great at MC'ing and making the important announcements for our event. DJ Roman was reliable and easy to communicate with as needed during the planning process, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!

Amazing DJ!!

We are so lucky to have found DJ Roman Candles! He was an amazing DJ that kept the party going all night and played just the right music! He was great at keeping me calm during the days leading up to the wedding and was always polite and accommodating as I texted him with changes mere hours before the wedding. I had him for 8 hours during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and added on the projector to play a couple of videos! He helped everything flow flawlessly and was so fun!

We are so lucky to have found DJ Roman Candles! He was an amazing DJ that kept the party going all night and played just the right music! Good communication both in advance and immediately proceeding the event.

Really quality DJ experience. Our friends had great things to say about DJ Roman. He played our fun hits with a few mix-ins which were well received. He had a great vibe and this awesome smile on his face the whole show. He was the most affordable DJ with his set up. Highly recommend.

DJ Roman Candles is THE best!

If you are looking for a DJ, seriously look no further. Roman was so responsive, helpful, caring, outgoing, and flexible. He honestly was key to making my wedding day go so smooth. He made it all happen. I had a friend create a mix for my walk down the aisle and he perfectly played it along with all of my & the guests music requests. I can't thank him enough for such a perfect day. I also can't express enough how wonderful he is and anyone looking for a great DJ to hire him. If anyone has any questions, please reach out. I highly recommend DJ Roman Candles! He was the DJ for our wedding this summer, and we and our guests had such a blast! Practically everyone was dancing! He is also very easy to work with and helped keep our wedding on schedule.

Roman is an absolute MUST for anyone that needs a DJ for their Hawaiian wedding!!! His response time was unparalleled to most other vendors who always seem to be on "island time" and his price is EXTREMELY affordable for the services he provides. He has a wealth of knowledge outside of his musical realm, and will provide you with a script for the flow of the wedding to help plan the entire reception to ensure that it runs smoothly. He caters to your music wishes and asks for a list of 30 play/do not play songs and works from that to make sure all the songs he pays will get your crowd dancing! The floor was packed all night and it was 100% due to DJ Roman's unbelievable mixes and choreographed jams! Our party was LIT all night due to DJ R. Candles!!

He can really read a crowd! He is friendly, easy to work with, and such a funny guy. He even hung out at the after party and enjoyed some brews with us. I have nothing but praise for him! Absolutely hire him for your special day!

He helped provide a timeline and template for our wedding that we worked from and gave us a list of items that he would need from us. DJ Roman dj'd at our 10 year anniversary (an belated wedding ceremony) at a beach house on the North Shore. We were pretty last minute in our catering and DJ plans, so we asked our caterer (Chef Ed, awesome by the way) to recommend a DJ. He put us in touch with DJ Roman, and we're so happy he did. He showed up on time, recommended the best spot to setup and started to work his magic. He's such a chill dude, but accommodated every request, fed of the crowd (about 30 people) and the music selection was perfect. Everyone had so much fun, and by the end of the night DJ Roman was our buddy :) I just can't recommend him enough! Thanks DJ Roman!

We used DJ Roman for a corporate function with 280 people ranging in ages from 2 months old to 70 years old!! Through the entire booking process he was quick to responded, open to our ideas and professional at all times!!! He was happy to meet with us onsite to go through a few things once we arrived in Hawaii (we were all from Australia). The event was just perfect, the dance floor wasn't empty for 1 song!!!!!!!!!!! He was approachable, fun and most importantly made our event the dance party we wanted it to be!!!!! we loved it!!! we cant thank him enough and will definitely be rebooking him next time we are in Hawaii!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do yourself a favour and hire him!!!!

I can't recommend DJ Roman Candles enough! We communicated almost entirely via email as I was planning a destination wedding. He was responsive, professional, and did everything he said he would do. He provided helpful tips and even a wedding timeline of how things usually progress throughout the day. I provided a pretty comprehensive list of songs we loved and expected he would play some of them, but manage the rest of the playlist himself. To my delight, he played pretty much everything on my list and read the crowd well enough to throw in some great additions. Everyone danced the entire night and that's exactly what I wanted. Thank you for being so professional and doing such a great job!!!

I met many DJs at the Bridal Expo but DJ Roman Candles stood out of the crowd because of his personality: fun and laid back. He was so helpful and experienced regarding the planning of our reception. He provided many recommendations that were right on point. On the day of our wedding, he was so professional yet fun and approachable. It was a small wedding yet he kept the dance floor full. We received a lot of compliments on him. He even sent a follow up email after our wedding to congratulate us and attached pictures he took from the wedding that we were not expecting. He's personable yet professional and goes above and beyond your expectations. Hire him as your DJ! You will not be disappointed!

I heard Roman Candles on KTUH once and was totally blown away. Roman Candles offers the whole package. He's entertaining as a performer as well as a person. He listens to your questions and follows through with everything. He offers a fun environment and gets the crowds going. The best part is that he is a total professional, and excels and getting the job done. He plays great music, and comes on-time and prepared. Roman performed at my school's Earth Fest this past year and absolutely nailed it. He's now being hired for my friends' weddings. Check him out.
