Redd has been a cornerstone of Alaska’s music scene for as long as I can remember. Passionate, dedicated, and highly skilled, he has worked with so many artists over the years that he probably doesn’t even remember moments that meant a great deal to me — and that, in itself, speaks to his experience and reach.

Early in my own journey, Redd recorded my very first studio song. I remember getting frustrated toward the end of the session and walking out of the booth after expressing that frustration. Instead of discarding the take, Redd heard something special in it and chose to keep it. That moment ended up being used in the final song and made a significant impact on the finished product. He effortlessly turned a negative moment into a positive result — a true mark of someone who understands their craft at a high level.

Redd has also been the DJ for several MMA events I competed in. In an environment like that, timing, energy, and crowd engagement are critical. From walkout music to maintaining momentum throughout the event, he executed everything flawlessly.

The story doesn’t end there. On September 4, 2023, I married the love of my life — and there was no question who we trusted with our wedding music. Alaska Redd delivered beyond expectations. If there’s one thing he excels at, it’s reading the room and supporting the moment. From the walk down the aisle to the dance floor later that night, the music transitioned so seamlessly that I often forgot he was even there — which is exactly what you want on such an important day.

I don’t just consider Redd an exceptional artist and DJ, but also someone I respect, look up to, and proudly call a friend. I give him 5 out of 5 stars and my highest possible recommendation. You will not regret working with him.

Our DJ was incredible. They kept everything running smoothly, made the announcements perfectly, and played the exact mix we wanted. The best and our guests are still talking about how fun it was. 10/10 experience.

Redd did an amazing job keeping the dance floor lit the entire reception not only did he do a great job with Music but he was very flexible in scheduling. We originally hired him prior to Covid after all the shutdowns we had to wait a couple years to invite all our family and friends to celebrate with us again And our DJ Redd was very understanding and rescheduled us with no extra fees. We had a blast and I can’t thank him enough.

Our DJ was absolutely fantastic and truly made our wedding reception everything we hoped it would be. From the very beginning, they were professional, organized, and easy to work with. They really listened to what we wanted and helped us stay within our budget, which we appreciated so much while planning a wedding.

The music selection was perfect from start to finish—our guests kept commenting on how great the atmosphere was. The DJ read the crowd incredibly well and kept the energy going all night. Their attitude was positive, friendly, and reassuring, which made the entire experience stress-free for us.

For the value, we couldn’t be happier. We feel like we got far more than what we paid for, especially considering the level of professionalism and the quality of service. If you’re another couple looking for a DJ who shows up prepared, keeps things on track, and genuinely cares about making your day amazing, we highly recommend them.

Redd absolutely made our wedding reception the best! The music was perfect and everyone had the best time. He mixed in our favorite songs, and kept the energy going all night. So easy to work with and such a great person — we couldn’t have asked for more! Definitely recommend!
