About
Ever since the first time I saw MTV's "The Grind" I knew I wanted to become a DJ. So I started messing around with tape recorders to make my own dance compilations. Eventually I realized that I wanted to get serious about it and I acquired a set of turntables ad a DJ mixer and I began to teach myself how to match beats of two different records and to blend one song into the next just as I had heard the other DJs doing. I quickly began to master the art and soon found myself moving on to learning more advanced skills such as scratching and trick mixing. Family and friends alike were impressed with my DJ performances and encouraged me to start doing it professionally. I decided to take their advice. That was fifteen years ago, but the only difference between then and now is now I do what I love for a living. It's kind of hard to consider it "work".
