Opening in Fall 2022, to-be-weds can now begin booking their celebration here. With a boutique lodge and stunning verdant grounds, you and your loved ones can enjoy your momentous occasion embedded in nature.

Hi There! I am Maddy- Mom to Ayla, Arrow & Roo (dog-kids), partner to Wiktor and current Lodge Keeper and Events Director at River & Rye.
I have roots in the wedding industry and was a floral designer for over 10 years as well as a minister at several weddings. I LOVE getting people together, and all the details that bring life's special days together. Chef Josh grew up in the mountain west. It was there that he found his calling and passion for food and the hospitality industry as a whole. His deep seeded belief, that gathering around a table laden with food and drink is essential to the well being of anyone, comes from the mountain communities he was raised in. Being from a wilderness area his hobbies have always been tied to the great outdoors which is where he serendipitously met the Allettos on a white water rafting trip through Hells Canyon. It was this fated excursion that brought him to the hills of Southern Vermont.
